I’m a Port supporter. I wasn’t confident against Sydney and we beat them by 112. Last week I got cocky, and got humbled. Port could easily bounce back and humble the Hawks. Usually when everyone gets overly cocky, it doesn’t end off well, and that’s what a lot (not all) Hawk supporters are doing. It’s not over until it’s over. I think Port will win. I’m not confident, but I’m glad that I’m not confident. A lot of people are assuming that Hawks will be at their best and Port will shit the bed again. That is a really really silly thing to be predicting.

Such a strange round to tip. I'm tipping Hawks by 10 in a close game, with Port responding to a degree, but I do have them bucking the historical trend after losing a home qualifying final. I have the giants winning by 26, too good in Sydney, but certainly don't rule out Brisbane getting the job done. I just have a gut feel about the giants.

I'd be interested in your assessment of the main coaching contenders for West Coast. A bit of detail about their strengths and where they've coached and fun facts. This should have an interest for other fans too as long as its more about coach. Sometimes we hear stuff about the coaches but it would be good to be all in one place. Also I'd be amazed if there weren't a few coaches replaced in the offseason. Any contenders.
Congrats on the 30k and three weeks ahead of your target, it is well deserved but still horribly under subbed. The correlation between quality content and subs can be a couple of years behind. Was it only last year you were hoping to reach 10k by draft day? My memory is terrible. The hard work is paying off.
unfortunately, AFL has such a small supporter base to attract that it will be hard for him to make substantial growth no matter how good his content continues to be

In last port v hawthorn, neither team played great but hawthorn overall played better with a choke at the end. Sydney is well known to be unable to beat port so while such a massive margin was unexpected, it was against a side you always beat and that side is at its worst. Good power will be tough, but a good hawthorn v good power will result in a hawthorn win in my opinion

Claims that Port has a stacked midfield is a myth. They only run one way so if they turn the ball over, it's goodnight. Especially considering how bad their defence is
It's better Hawthron avoided Geelong and I think the biggest hurdle to the GF (on form) was the Bulldogs. But as always, the remaining teams the Hawks play are all obviously top 4 and if they bring their 'A' game we're toast. To me it's "easier" to go via PA and Sydney than Geelong or GWS. Brisbane won't win a raffle. Sydney and Geelong have flogged Hawthorn earlier in the year, but I'd rather leave them to the last 2 games, which it seems how it will play out.
