Thanks for posting this. I first saw this almost a decade ago, on the Musicares tribute to Neil. And this is one of the greatest live rock performances I’ve ever seen... and I’ve seen lots. I had hoped to become a professional musician, and have always studied the great ones the way a medical student would obsess over biology and anatomy.
Here, we have Wilco preforming an almost note-for-note rendition of a Sgt. Peppers-era piece of studio wizardry. Outstanding.

Neil Young was the most amazing piece of the CSN & Y puzzle, in my opinion. Steve, David and Graham had the voices but Neil was the wild energy that made Deja Vu and 4 Way Street so formidable.

@@michaelbrickley2443 yes true, and Neil wrote it.....but this was a Buffalo Springfield song.

They played this in front of Neil....so much huevos. I wonder how tickled Neil was when he realized they were playing Broken Arrow instead of just Mr. Soul.

I suspect he loved it. I sure did!

Knowing how Neil is about his r&r, he probably loved it. These folks are the kind of talent blend that made Buffalo and C, S, N & Y so great.

He loved it. Jeff Tweedy just yesterday said on his substack, "Afterwards, I got a letter from Neil that just said “Wow!” along with a simple drawing of a broken arrow."
      I think he liked it!

@@SaobTtirb I would think he would. Neil always thought outside the box.

I’d say around 2007-2011, Nels Cline is playing guitar for them but the guys still look young
