There's a very specific version of the game (the earliest one released in North America) where if you connect a 2nd controller in 1 player mode for shooting range, hitting purple targets with that 2nd controller will net you 3 points each instead of deducting 3. As for 999, that's just keeping my combo throughout and also making sure more targets spawn by playing stage 2 very quickly. I hope that answers the questions!

If the claims are true then I'm not surprised that I'm 4th to max since the game offers much more difficult challenges, but I will take 1st recorded 999 any day :^)
@@th3on3c The reason is because the site in where all 3 claims existed was closed in 2017. Getting hacked and lack of resources (possibly) were the main reasons of closure.
