In the 80s, I grew a LOT of sprouts and am thinking growing them again. This video was extremely helpful and precise. It is nice that you show the soil and no-soil method simultaneously. Bravo!

Thanks a lot, Khang, that's exactly what I was looking for. I bought mustard seeds from an Indian shop to make homemade mustard, and and I wondered if I can use them for sprouting the way I use mung beans and others.
Great channel, subscribed and will recommend :)

I Iive in a rural area of North Carolina where we have Red Clay Soil. I looked up the price of Red Clay and found it to be $15.11 a pound. However I have seen the local families grow all types of Salad Greens for decades but never knew that mustard greens or any salad green could be grown without soil. I have mustards, collards, and kale growing in Red Clay. I am ordering more seeds as we speak and grow them in trays without soil. Thank You Very Much. and... Stay Safe from COVID 19.

Hi, thanks for the vid.. i appreciate you put the other link in your description.. more quickly to get to them.. another point i like is you said what taste the sprout as.. because some are more interesting then other.. and how to know at first to find what seed to buy ? so i will defenitely sprout Mustard for sure...As for the soil method, i saw another video where the person put a paper towel over the seeds, first it help to keep moisture.. but it also keep the harvest "cleaner" as we cut.. no soil get in the sprout... else then that.. great info.. Mike

hi Khang. I've watched nearly all of your videos on sprouting and love your detailed easy methods. :-) I'm having trouble with my arugula seeds sticking together and making a "blanket" which prevents sprouting. Had to throw trays away. Maybe overwatering? (no holes) Question. Are there any seeds that you soak? I don't recall seeing you soak any seeds for sprouting. All my seed bags have directions for soaking except for the really tiny ones. Is it necessary? Sure is easier to spread dry seeds.
    Thanks again - Robin
