Happy Saturday! I hope you enjoy this episode!! If you play on the PS5, the console have a "Streamer Mode" which automatically block copyrighted music. You are awesome, its a pure joy following your pirate journey ❤🤙

Reaching those viewpoints is like finding a stairway to heaven. I was never a "pro" assassin but I always found pistol gunplay underwhelming. I enjoyed my swords and hidden blades much more.
Agreed, but if you upgrade your pistols, I believe you can have 4 max. You can do some damage, but the UI for the pistol use could be better. EDIT: Try to collect the mayan artifacts. When you do, you get bulletproof armor except headshots. Something to do when you finish the game and do livestreams.
Hey Liz! Just a quick tip on the treasure map coordinates: The numbers on the treasure map correspond with a location, but don't provide an exact location. For example, the one you were viewing was (749,625). All that tells you is that the treasure is located in the island of "Salt Lagoon." The coordinates are for the location symbol. That's why when you hovered over the Salt Lagoon symbol, it matched the exact coordinates of the treasure map. So in essence, the coordinates only reveal the location you have to search. Once you get there, you pull out the map and look for the landmark. It could be anywhere on that island.
You figured out viewpoints here. Good. But you don't have to figure out where to sell valuables in chests-- they auto convert to reales, such as a 100r gold ring found in a chest. You only would sell rum and suger plundered from ships and plantations
I edited Black Flag into tv series along with the other first 5 AC games but Black Flag is such an over all amazing game i dont have time to play it over and over so i binge watch it instead. 🙂
Hi, I can answer a few things if you want (IDK if you allow these, so if no, tell me. There are no story spoilers, only game mechanics that you already encountered): - Looting chests and getting items from them (like earrings) just gives you Royals (the R is for Royal, Spanish currency of the time). The earrings etc are automatically sold (it is just "flavour text" for more immersion) - In the end of the last episode, and start of this one, you thought that enemy ships attack you automatically. It is not the case, unless you are in restricted areas. What happened here was that you attacked them first, and only then they started to attack you (they also help each other, and as there are British and Spanish ships, they sometimes fight each other too). - Sugar and Rum from your ship cargo can be sold without worry, that quest for sugar for Bonnet was only for that mission, and it was scripted that you can't get it out from the fortress. - Obviously you should try to loot everything as you can, but if I remember correctly, in this game you can return to locations to loot them later, but it might be harder (like that island at the start that was claimed by someone when you left in the last episode). Other AC games have missions that are 1 time only, and you can loot the items only during those missions (but I think you can usually replay those missions from memory menu) - Keep crafting materials for later, until you know you will not need them anymore, then you can sell them (usually animal hides, bones etc). You can check your crafting menu for what you will need.
Just as a mechanics note. On your mini map, chests and fragments that are grey are on a different elevation. White shows they are at the same elevation that you are standing. If they are grey, they are either above or below you.
Note that it often useful to take out a ship's sails & masts to disable them rather than the hull - especially if your intent is to board a ship rather than sink it. And don't forget to ram - both of the navy ship that defeated you did so by ramming you.
Oh, this was so much fun! I loved it when the Jackdaw flew her own black flag. Now we're cookin'! Also, that shanty you caught, "Stormalong John", Pearson sometimes used to sing it around the camp in RDR2. Great video, Liz! 🙂
I hope you play Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla in the future. Truly epic, massive, open-world AC games. Maybe not always "true" to the AC games of old, but I think they're unbelievably fun.
@@dl3472I’m from old school role play so I don’t always tear around running or dive into fights when stealth works. It’s fun to watch other types of play, it all works.
The mandatory stealth missions in this game are ok, not great. Like tailing a target, listening to their conversations. I wish the stealth mechanic were more immersive. But it is a plus that you can just go all out when the s*** hits the fan. Like in Splinter Cell, stealth is an option but not always the best.
Tips part 2: Conquer some smaller ships, (not boats) and when winning, use them as salvage to repair your ship. At video part when you enter for looting metal from enemy ship by naval battles you seem to lose one level of your ship armor. You can get them armor back 3 ways. 1. By fixing took over enemy ship as salvages, 2. get it fixed with money at harbour master (if I remembering correctly). 3. Or...simply dying. :P When enemy ship cannons you, use button to duck. You get damage, but less than with direct shot. Avoid getting into naval fights with frigattes or man o'wars unless you have improved armor and cannons of your own ship. If there's plenty of ships around, avoid pissing one off since they all get onto you (when under same flag). When enemy ship is somehow moderetaly damaged, try to shoot their mast with chained cannon balls. When mast is taken down, ship is crippled and easier to take over. And do not let enemy ships ram into your ship since it causes lot of damage to your own ship. When you explore game's huge sea maps, every corner has Legendary Boss Ships. You shall avoid these at every cost till you have mastered naval fights and get upgrades on your character as well. Note little X as crossed over swords in your head up display. They are like wanted levels, when colour reach full red, you get bounty hunters after you. Happy hunting!
You can switch between the sea shanties, so you dont have to listen to the same songs all the time. Also, capturing more of them will make them repeat less often. The eagle vision also highlight Chests, Hiding spots and Interactable objects.
8:50 you don't technically sell earrings and necklaces you find, you just get the money for it immediately when opening the chest. That way you don't have to mess with inventory management.
If you download all the black flag DLC you get exclusive outfits like captain henry morgan outfit. If you do the fleet missions in the cabin room you also can get the red officers uniform as a reward. Best AC game and subscribed.
Love your playthrough so far! One thing that helps to know about the controls is jump is a pretty deliberate input you don't have to use often. You'll eventually get a feel for what "paths" the game has set for you to parkour and what gaps edward will automatically jump over. Think of jump as a way to deviate from those paths or override the automatic parkour. Sorry if this is backseating lol, I just want you to be able to enjoy the story without getting frustrated with the controls 😅 AC plays differently to any game you've played so far on the channel, but I hope you stick with it because it really is an awesome game!

One of my favourite strategies for taking out the riflemen guards in a fort is something I picked up from playing Assassin's Creed 3 which also features flint lock rifles... shoot one guard that is armed with a rifle, then swoop in and snatch up his rifle and use that to shoot the next guy, drop that rifle and run over and snap up the gun of the second guy you killed etc (and you can string a few of these types of kills together if you find somewhere that has a few armed guards not too tightly packed in an area, running up and down 'stairs' as needed :P). Doesn't work so well on ships where swords counters are really the bread and butter, but its fun to do along the battlements of forts and the like. :) Also, as far as pirate movies are concerned, an oldie but a really good one is Captain Blood starring Errol Flynn... its an old black and white film (showing my age now, haha) but if you can find a copy to watch its a really great pirate movie. :)
Just a heads up, this is probably the best game in the series. The others are great. AC3 comes in close for the number one spot. Plus, AC3 connects to Black Flag. And having native and white ancestry made me love AC3.
When you find jewelry or other stuff in chests or by looting it is sold automatically for the ammount shown next to it. This is not the case in all AC games though. It obviously saves time in shops and inventories though I for one think it takes away some welcome flavor.
There is nothing wrong with starting with this title, honestly. It's a great first introduction to the series. You should play the Adewale DLC as well. Adewale will appear in other titles too. I will recommend though, that before you move on to newer titles, you should play through the Ezio trilogy at least. It's reputed to comprise the best entries in the series. That's AC2, AC: Brotherhood, and AC: Revelations. Play through AC1 before AC2/Ezio trilogy if you are motivated for it, but you don't have to. It's just that it will help make things less confusing for you, at least in Revelations. The gameplay in AC1 is not very astounding, however, at least not compared to newer titles, so it might be a little "disappointing" for you to jump back to the older games after Black Flag. AC2 is still a must, though. You can not say you have played Assassin's Creed without having played AC2 :D Ideally, you should play the games in this order: AC1, AC2 trilogy, AC: Black Flag, AC: Black Flag Adewale DLC, AC: Rogue, AC3, AC: Unity, AC: Syndicate, AC: Origins. (This is more a chronological order, if you care about the story. If you care more about seeing how the games got better gameplay-wise, etc, then just playing the consecutive titles is well and good. Odyssey, Valhalla, and Mirage are not true AC titles, in my opinion. Odyssey has nothing to do with assassins, Valhalla barely has anything to do with assassins in spite of your main character wearing assassin costumes (wannabe), and the story doesn't really make up for it. The world is also too vast with too little to do in it, it gets tedious to manage. Mirage is a copy of the Lotr: shadows of mordor games, giving your assassin ridiculous abilities that makes me facepalm. Then there is Shadows that I just highly doubt will be good because of Ubisoft decisions, but anyways, not here to spark controversy. Just know that the earlier AC titles were the better games in terms of story.
I love to watching someone enjoy AC for first time. Liz can rename the game to Assassin's Loot. "Nah, poor story and missions, I want all chants and treasures."😄
Hey, I always watch to the end even if it is sometimes in two sessions. Advice - check what level you are before attacking. I suspect you were nowhere nearL17 like that ship which killed you.

1:03:59 someone standing at the top of the stairs says "Nassau", but they seem to be speaking with a British accent. Seems Sus. Your streams are so chaotic and fun! Gogogogogo!
Story-wise, AC Black Flag is not a great game to begin with because alot of things in the story would feel out of place or out of context if you haven't yet played AC 3. So if you are into the story u should also definitely play AC 3 . But gameplay wise tho, this is definitely a great place to start the series as it is one of the best in the series.
Pistols sometimes have a place/ smoke bombs when they're in your face/ throw one down and hear them chokin'/ pull your blades and just start pokin'/ cleave away and see them die/ give these freakin' things a try! Smoke bombs...for when you're new to the game...and wimpy. Peace!
I hope u will be the 1st to do some Need for Speed Payback and Heat. Both have storyline and I would love to the Liz-rides how pimp em out. I have said to others but I guess it falls on deaf ears. Maybe not good enough. Ur going to like Tyler Morgan, Jessica Miller, and Sean Macallister in Payback. Heat is Ana lost her crew and u come for mula and respect in town. Oh and money. Like I said u will do some Need for Speed.
Aaaa I'm loving it!! Quick question, Any interest in The last of us part 2? I mean are you planning to play that anytime xd I love that game, it'd be lovely to watch!

I don't know about in the game but IRL they fired chain into the sails of the ship to capture it. When the sails are shredded, the ship has no power.

At the time AC Black Flag was released it was easily one of the largest open world games
Stairs.
Mind your Broadside cannons, to fire Heavy Shot just line up alongside and press fire. Don't aim or you'll fire the less effective Round Shot.
Black Flag is the best of all assassin's Creed games 🎉🎉🎉
also my favourite song in the game is "blow the candles out" sung by the woman at the tavern
Holding the aim longer for cannons will increase accuracy by narrowing the arch of your shot. Making more shots hit.
Rock climbing isn’t about upper body strength it’s about a good foot hold
I love Assassin's Creed so much!😊
YEET! did you think he could fly Liz? 😅😅😅

Good morning Liz
I will 《must》take steps to try this game again. 🎉
Pistols sometimes have a place/ smoke bombs when they're in your face/ throw one down and hear them chokin'/ pull your blades and just start pokin'/ cleave away and see them die/ give these freakin' things a try! Smoke bombs...for when you're new to the game...and wimpy. Peace!
We demand a full captain jack sparrow Costume next
I'd suggest to play rogue after then AC3 and unity after, unless you do the ezio trilogy
Naussa church chest is in a cave under the church
54:04 I lost it here 😂
Yesss such a funny moment! Glad you laughed too! Loved this game so much!
Oh wow you got a singing voice too liz
I hope u will be the 1st to do some Need for Speed Payback and Heat. Both have storyline and I would love to the Liz-rides how pimp em out. I have said to others but I guess it falls on deaf ears. Maybe not good enough. Ur going to like Tyler Morgan, Jessica Miller, and Sean Macallister in Payback. Heat is Ana lost her crew and u come for mula and respect in town. Oh and money. Like I said u will do some Need for Speed.
You have a very long journey before you have that map 100% synchronized.
Enjoy your experience.
It's an experience not a race.
While in a battle had a sniper shoot their own the guy actually walked in front of me and took the bullet
The bird 💩 💩 💩 part kinda got me
LMAO I hope you got a good laugh!
Aaaa I'm loving it!!

Hi Bob!
Hi, l recommend the evil whitim or far cry 3 is fun :)
Love the video, as usual, but I do sometimes wonder if you rushed more slowly whether you would get on better. And how the hell did your pistol fire after you'd been swimming (wettng gunpoowder doesn't help it explode usually)?
Don't forget ur mortars baby. As u approach em hit em with the mortars.
2nd. This is really early access. Stairs.
Right?? I'm so proud of myself!
I like this game
Is this a good one to start with? I've never played any Assassin's Creed either.
