Those vertical seams in your leotards which you said look similar to a corset are called princess seams, and they typically but not always have a shaping function as they typically make your figure look a bit more hourglass shape.
YES! A resounding yes, that leotards and shoes can cure depression. Loved everything. SOOOOOOO lovely! Thank you for sharing and I want some of those shoes. I've been seeing ads but you've confirmed that they are very comfortable so I'm finally going to shop. LOVE 🥰
Do you have a guide for thrifting in nyc? The last time I went there most thrift stores I went to felt too expensive. I'm coming back in December so I would love some tips!
thrifting can always be tricky in NYC, but my biggest tip is to seek out the smaller ones like Salvation Army's around the city. The really popular ones are much more curated but you pay for it. If you find Goodwill's and Salvations that aren't as curated, you'll have to dig, but the prices are usually much better
Just what I needed! I'm wondering about buying my first leotard, and i thought about the soft pink one, but i'm afraid i would look too childish... It looks so good on you! But I dont know about me. I also wanted something pastel and different... There are so many options, i dont know where to start! Such an amazing universe of possibilites ❤
Totally agree with @turtlep8582 ! My first leotard was a simple black Bloch leo, it was what I felt most comfortable in. I didn't start branching away from it for over a year because I felt silly in other colors and styles. It'll come with time, but definitely follow your heart!
I absolutely adore the baby pink leotard (you look beautiful in it btw 🫶🏻🫶🏻) so I immediately clicked on the link to go buy it but it’s completely sold out. It’ll be perfect for my ballet classes, I’m definitely gonna keep my eyes open and hope it gets back in stock soon!
Perfect timming bcs just an hour ago I bought my first leotard and ballet shoes to start my adult begginer ballet journey
omgomgomg I'm so excited for you! best of luck for the start of your journey!!

I would buy a more basic staple for a first leotard, but go with whatever your heart desires!
