yeah when i’m in a class for my school i never wear all that but we get chances to take class with company members onstage and when you can wear as many layers as possible why not

Had never seen any other guy wear pink leg warmers. I thought it looked, ermm, different. So, I did. Got the initial looks, and just kept on keeping on. They became second nature, nary a thought about it, tho in new studios I would get those initial looks. Denver, Chicago, Boston, around... ended up in New York City. Knew literally no one. Walked into a studio to take classes. Had no idea the backstory, history of the studio until a few days later. Let's just say, omg. Those who came into my first classes, OOOMMMGGG. Had been to see Ivan Nagy and Natalia Makarova in, ermmm, Giselle or La Sylphide. The night before. Get to class, to the barre, and in walks Ivan Nagy. We all have our fav places yes? Guess I was in his place. Had been warming up but sensed, then asked if he wanted me to move? I was in shock anywayz. No prob he said. Then from his dance bag he pulls out a pair of faded pink leg warmers. He saw me look and like, oh, cool. (to that point I'd never seen another guy wearing such...) Both of us smiled. Took class. Remained in shock the whole time. Addendum, when moving away from the barre, the ballet master assigned Mr Nagy, and me, to the front row. The only two in the front row. And proceeded with the rest of the class. Did I mention I was in shock? Pink warmers and all.
I find tights under the leotard to be way more comfortable, on the few occasions that I've worn them over (only ever done this with black tights!) they feel like they're constantly slipping and the leotard elastic digs into my skin more around my bum and thighs. I hate the look of pink tights over leotards though, with the full gusset on view!
Ladies, I am by avocation a singer. I would love to see y’all do a deep dive into ballet in opera. That is the idea of grand opera, to bring all the creative arts into one production. I thought that was in the 1980s! Do you mean they were fashionable twice? as a kid, I don’t think I even knew the fashion came from the dance studio lol
I love that you actually HAVE to guide people in this, because there are so many clothes of so many styles that society can't be understood by just looking at it once.
I'd say that for STUDENTS really depends on what kind of student you are. I'm in a beginner adult's class, we're just there because we love ballet, but we're not studying it as a profession, and everyone wears whatever they feel like. Most people wear atheltic tights, a tank top and socks. Some of the girls moved from generic athleisure to more ballet appropriate clothing, because it actually feels like you're doing ballet. I'm wearing a short tennis skirt, but I get your point on bulk on the side, because it is more flowy than any ballet skirt! Best thing I did so far was to add leg warmers and I think I'll invest in a better pair, but I don't think I'll see myself in trashbag clothing or spaceboots anytime soon.
I actually prefer wrap skirts more than bullet pointe skirts! The bullet pointe skirts are just not long enough for me but I love all of the different color options!
I am an animation student and this is such a great video for looking at what people actually wear to ballet classes. My personal favorite is the asymmetrical hiked up pants, next to the garbage pants ❤️❤️
For arm warmth, I slide a pair of full-length children's leg warmers over my arms. Fit great, nice and cozy, and easy to slip off when I warm up. Also, I once crocheted myself a lovely, pale pink shrug; it looked great, and kept my arms and back warm, but it turned out to be too itchy to wear more than 5 minutes. 😞 Maybe one day I'll make another like it, but with cotton yarn instead of wool.
Just before spaceboots (1980's) came along, sheepskin booties with tubesocks over them...could rosin the socks if needed. Olympian Oiga Korbut wore them on Balance Beam in a magazine spread.
I love strappy back leotards! Particularly for adult basics beginner ballet I'm not doing enough to get tangled (yet) lol. I love the way it shows my back, and it feels more secure than a completely open back?
I agree with most of your preferences, except I'm afraid you won't like the kind of skirts I wear... the Bulletpointe skirts are super cute but i can't wear them. My behind isn't nearly covered. I have an extreme hourglass figure and need a much longer skirt that flares out for coverage. (they aren't wrap skirts but A line skirts). I really love the hi-lo skirts, I had a few custom made - but the Eleve ones are too tight in the hips :-/ the Suffolk ones flare out more and fit my figure better. Otherwise I agree with all your choices!
I used to wear biketards when I danced ballet in my teens, and that was the comfiest thing in the world. All the class we had one of each colour, and it was so fun when we accidentaly wore them all at the same time. It was like a rainbow! I was electric blue 💙💙
This is fun. I'm actually surprised how different my thinking is from you guys in several ways. Personally, I do have a lot of leotards and skirts, and most of the skirts are wrap. To wear a bullet point style skirt, I have to buy one with the waist band too big because I have round glutes, so the "correct size" rides up terribly. I started dance in Southern Oregon, where apparently no studio can afford an air conditioner big enough for the space, so cut off tights were a matter of survival in the hot months. Also, I DO love strappy leotards, particularly because they allow you to have most of your back bare without feeling completely unsupported in the front, which is also very helpful if the studio is very warm. I've actually never bothered to get trash bag pants or booties, but I'm pretty much always sweaty in a few minutes year-round, so I don't know if I could handle it, I might just get overheated really quickly. I've always stuck with budget warmup clothes, actually used to buy cotton tops from the $1 rack at a consignment shop next to the studio.
Very nice video, I thought the space boots were strange when I was purchasing my first set of ballet gear so I skipped it. I will buy them when it winter.
Hi there! Love your videos :). I have been wondering, when I watch them, if maybe you will tell us more about your individual stories with ballet, what are you doing now (where do you teach and what led you to teach), and what method do you follow (since you made the video about all the methods) 😊. Thank you! Hugs from Portugal
those bullet pointe skirts are divine! should i ever go back to class i'll definitely get one if possible and allowed. i'm also making a list: leg warmers, trash bag pants, space boots, the classic tights, and an inflatable animal costume. any suggestions on which animal i should get? maybe a unicorn for the ethereal fantastical quality? or should i look for a swan maybe? lol.
I’m not a dancer and I had no idea how many fashion choices there are available for you. Unless one is a student! I was in a variety of sports and I can’t think of anything remotely equivalent for practice. The strappy back has been very trendy in fitness/leisure wear. It looks like an opportunity to develop an itch in way more places than necessary. As for the 🦖costume, I cannot get enough of these videos! ballet, grocery shopping, American ninja contestant, etc 🤣 Thank you for a very fun video! 🙏💕🎭🎼💃🕺🪩
Your love of the bullet point SAB skirts made me swoon! I remember my SAB skirt dearly. I saw them for the first time when I went to the Boston Ballet summer intensive, and my roommate was kind enough to go fabric shopping with me and show me how to use her skirt as a pattern to cut my own. I felt so cool being the first one to wear one at my ballet school the next year. There’s no ballet skirt more perfect!
@@balletreign Yes, I would like this as well. It seems that everyone has slightly different ways of doing things. I'd also love to see you guys prep your shoes on video.
Excellent POV video. I learned more today about ballet. Do they also have rehearsal or training videos? I never thought (ever in my life) I would be watching a video about ballet, but again, I never thought I would be learning violin, either.
I like the wrap skirts and flared legwarmers for the movement. The same way certain garment extend of emphasize the lines, when all the base layers are so tight the movement they highlight is great. The speed of turns, the lightness of steps the transitions between combinations and pivots, and weight shifts. They also show you how much control you do or dont have.
so glad i stopped having a dress code after a certain age as a student, literally can’t imagine going to class without warmups especially trash pants 😭😭
That’s like a guy in tights who is wearing running shorts over top - this defeats the purpose of wearing the form fitting dance wear in the first place.
As one of the sweatiest dancers on the planet I have to stay away from the trash bag pants, because I tend to melt. It's not cool to look like you peed in your leotard. 🤣🤣 And I HAVE to be barefoot in ballet slippers - I can't stand the feeling of tights in them.
omg SAMEEEE!! me and my other ballet classmate sweat the MOST in my class, me is prob due to the more I jump and put effort in my work, the more warm it gets, which i hate smm like my back get sweaty, perspiration would be dripping down my cheeks, even my hands get sweaty too 😭if i could somehow reduce my sweat and get to have the chance to enjoy warmers without entirely melting or die of heatstroke, I WOULD GLADLY DO IT 😩
Ugh, I'm the same way. I sweat so much, and I cannot stand the feeling of tights in my shoes. They don't absorb sweat like they should, and they pull on my toes and bunions causing my feet to ache way more than if I just go bare under the shoes.
i did gymnastics as a kid, and i'm so seconding the strappy leotards bit. we were constantly fixing each others leos. on the other hand, brighter and bolder patterns were a huge thing for us, i think because gymnastics clubs (at least the ones i was a part of) didn't/don't really have a dress code. some kids even wore cami tops and gk or soffee shorts instead of leotards, although we weren't allowed to in the week before competitions
I’m the one girl who arrives at the studio packed in warm ups. Like everything, trash bag pants, shirts, shorts, cardigans, hoodies, leg warmers… I LOVE my warm ups! At least I’ll have some in my bag. Doesn’t matter which season 😂 Fortunately my ballet school isn’t that strict with the dress code. We have one in many classes but it’s more about the color of the leotard. We can wear warm ups (as you probably recognized) and I actually love to wear my tights over the leotard, when I have those I-don’t-wanna-look-into-the-mirror-days. It makes me feel much more comfortable in my skin sometimes. One question, would you recommend space boots for students as well?
Warmups ftw 🙌🏻 we def recommend space boots for anyone, but for students it is probably better to keep them just for warming up before class and remove before entering studio/class starts. Hope this helps! 😉😉
hi again! my latest comment was about how i'd like to pursue ballet, which i probably will be doing now! so happy to do ballet, and its all thanks to you. 💗
Ok so I actually love making and wearing tights tops, I actually just found more old tights that I'm going to use to make more. I 100000% agree with yall about the bullet skirts, I prefer them over a wrap skirt any day. When it comes to halter neck leotards I absolutely love them and own a few of them. Space booties I feel like is a no-brainer, even if you aren't a dancer you should still wear them, same goes for the trash bag pants/shorts. I could go on and on about every single one but I'm going to keep this short as possible so I will leave it at this.
Long time since I was in a class hehe, here are my yays -wrap sweaters: my loves -lace/mesh leotard: i do enjoy a minimalist or a bit sexy one i must admit, especially with long sleeves but getting a good fit is more difficult ^still wear these! -stirrup tights and booties are essentials Will never like a super floaty skirt though!
Y’all have such good ballet fashion sense❤ It blows my mind of all the ideas that y’all come up with! P.S I love the trash bag pants!!! They’re so fashionable and unbelievably comfortable
Tights, over leotards can only be worn if they’re black I don’t have a white panty line it’s easy to try on costumes so when you’re a professional dancer a lot of times you need to take those tights off and put a skirt on, but you wear the tights in class and rehearsal easier to go to the bathroom too when you have breaks😊
I love that you guys have a somewhat traditional fashion sense!! I love modern too, but sometimes its easy to get lost and going back to the basics is a great way to find your own style. Keep up the great work!! 🫰🏻 Edit: any ballet wrap skirts you recommend?
Thank you! We do enjoy a more traditional style. As for wrap skirts, Bodile has some lovely ones, and Mirella wrap skirts are always great- we def recommend Mirella wraps for students ☺️☺️
I grew up dancing ballet and modern and I’m in my 40’s now so I’ve gone through a few styles! Now a days I love my trash bag shorts to warm up with a full zip fleece and leg warmers (my mom made me some in below the knee in deep pink or orange! with stirrups or longer black ones without). I used to love halter or racer back (and I always need a bra) but my shape is better balanced with a short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve, or tank Leo. For center I switch the shorts for a pull on skirt that’s a little hi low with a bit of flare and a slit. 😊 My tights are usually rolled up under my calf to keep balance my heat once I’m warm. Back in high school I wore a black unitard with a colored cami top for a piece and then wore them a lot into college. I recently tried new Athleta bodysuits but I prefer layers around my belly. 🙃
Back in my day over 30 yrs ago I kept it simple and wore a classic leotard, wrap skirt and white or pink tights lol. And a wrap sweater. I do love the newer styles I’ve seen though ☺️
For me the upper part of tights are underwear. As far is I read there is no need for wearing briefs under your tights as they would rather disturb. So tights under the leotard.
Ooh! This is going in as one of my favorite Ballet Reign videos of all time! So cool and interesting to see all the different types of clothing ballet dancers wear in class. I just take a ballet barre class, but I was still intrigued here the whole way through :D Never knew there were so many things in a ballet dancer's wardrobe haha!
i bought a biketard and like, i want to love it in practice, but i am so self-conscious in it lol. now that i have a knitted skirt i can wear over the lower section, i feel much better XD but i don't reach for it often :x
about the trash bag pant, i dont believe that it is allowed for students as it might be hard for teachers to see our legs. but i think this is only for students since my teacher wears it all the time
I have to disagree on patterned leotards! As a former gymnast I wore so many fancy sparkly leos that the plain one color just aren’t the same when I’m in ballet class!
I'm an adult in a teenage exam class. All the other girls have to wear the exam leotard with pink footed tights, no skirts, no shorts and no tops of any kind, regardless of season. I get to where whatever I want so I wear a black Kmart singlet top with a coloured crop top bra over my normal bra. On the bottom I wear knee-length black tights with either bare legs or tan knee-hi stocking socks depending on the weather. I also wear bike shorts with a coloured waistband in the studio theme colour. In cold weather I wear a cheap tie-up shrug i found on eBay (short or long sleeves - also in the studio colour). I'm lucky but I feel sorry for those girls who have to abide by the rules, even when they're not doing the exams as they always look uncomfortable.
Tights, over leotards can only be worn if they’re black I don’t have a white panty line it’s easy to try on costumes so when you’re a professional dancer a lot of times you need to take those tights off and put a skirt on, but you wear the tights in class and rehearsal easier to go to the bathroom too when you have breaks😊 be careful of wearing parachute pants they cost sweating in the crotch and can lead to EEast infections I never wore these never had a problem.
In my school when we were little like ages 5-10 we would wear bullet pointe skirts but after that we had to get wrapup skirts. Still prefer more the wrapup tho.
I'm not a beginner but I'm not advanced either. Can I wear leg warmers, trash bag pants and the warm-up bootie? Because the lower part of my body gets cold and injured really fast but I don't want to stand out, be looked at or worse my teachers saying no to me 😂😬
I have a VERY certified and very serious question to ask. So, do you two go shopping for your outfits just for the videos? Becuase you seem to wear a different thing every show (at least your tops. you could be wearing the same pair of jeans under your tops for all we know) Or do you just have that many outfits? And are you like “oh we are making a vid on so and so, let’s wear that” and are you two like “that doesn’t match” or “Eden, not that, I’m wearing green.” I really want to know!
@@annsalomon6645 they're also way faster to put on and theres no risk of a knot showing. But i'm not a fan of them, just aesthetically 😅 i prefer satin for sure
How about shorts? :) Black tights? T-shirts? (scoop neck) Sweatshirts? I have watched several of your videos, but somewhere along the line I missed your story of who you guys are….are you related? Friends? and are you in a company? Love your videos!
Pretty sure we invented tights tops 40 years ago LOL. Same as wearing thongs under UNITARDS but we could only get thongs at the Capezio store in Hollywood. Decades later folks figured out that panty lines weren't flattering ever. Yay dancers!!!
Happy birthday Jordan!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Space boots! Love mine but I tend to fall of the edge of the boot 😬 so I don’t wear them a lot. Would love advice on how to keep them centered on my feet 😂 I’ve also migrated to skorts because I can wear them outside of class (double duty!!!). I do have a floofy skort and it amuses me during turn combos 😊
Thanks, lol. Eden was just being goofy 😅😅 Space boots weren’t meant to do a full class in, you will def slip off the edge bc of the loose nature of the boot. Most dancers keep them on just for warming up, plies, and maybe tendus but not much more than that. Twirly skirts are always fun to turn in! 😆😆
I’m 65, and can’t do much more than seated marching for exercise. And yet having seen ballet wear influence fashion in previous decades, I am applauding this topic and looking forward to watching.
Who is the beautiful dancer at 07:20 in the video? I can tell she's with ROH but I don't recognise her. I am an adult woman, in my early forties, thinking of starting ballet for joy and exercise and I have few opinions about ballet fashion, only the desire to wear something appropriate for class that isn't physically or mentally uncomfortable or very expensive!!
Unpopular opinion but I've tried trash bag pants, space boots, and bullet pointe skirts and I don't really like them. Maybe mine just never fit right but I couldn't get behind it and I'm scared to try again in case people at my new school judge me for wearing them out of nowhere
For lace Leo’s I think it depends on the design…I absolutely love my full lace, long sleeved leotard…it’s stunning but is very hot to dance in (it’s long sleeve and full zip back with a collar 😅)…I’m definitely an advocate for tights over Leo’s cos when I need to pee I need to pee…stroppy Leo’s, if they’re wider straps I like them cos the skinner ones make me feel like a ham 😅 patterned Leo’s I love especially in winter cos it hides perky nips 😅 and definitely a big fat yes to Bloch booties…I bought a pair during lockdown in 2020…and then ended up buying another pair to wear as house slippers cos they were so warm 😊
Trash pants, leg warmers, space boots -- how cold is the studio to run all three at once, haha
Not sure, but when the knees start squeaking then you know 🤣🤣
yeah when i’m in a class for my school i never wear all that but we get chances to take class with company members onstage and when you can wear as many layers as possible why not
My studio is always blazing hot 😩 the most I can handle is leg warmers for barre
I really want someone to do a full ballet with those blow up costumes
Oh yes, please!! 🙏😁

We used to call tights tops “crotch tops”. Worn under the leotard helps the whole going-to-the-washroom issues!

For long-legged me (~5'9" with a high waist), bullet pointe skirts feel a tad short, though I do appreciate the look.

I felt so cool being the first one to wear one at my ballet school the next year. There’s no ballet skirt more perfect!
Aww thanks for sharing this sweet memory ☺️☺️
The left one is litarly my favorite warm up 😂
Haha you know it 😆😆
OMG We had so many clothing rules for class in college in the early 70s. I had no idea so much had changed lol lol lol
Love this. I would love to see how you both do your buns for rehearsal, and special roles.
Thanks for watching! We would love to do hair tutorials 👍🏻👍🏻
@@balletreign Yes, I would like this as well. It seems that everyone has slightly different ways of doing things. I'd also love to see you guys prep your shoes on video.
I love colorful tights I think they’re so cute ! (I’ve never done ballet but I LOVE watching it)
I can't imagine having to go to class without warmups... I would freeze to death! 😂❤
Excellent POV video. I learned more today about ballet. Do they also have rehearsal or training videos?
I never thought (ever in my life) I would be watching a video about ballet, but again, I never thought I would be learning violin, either.
The best thing I’ve bought is my TRASH BAG Trousers!! I LOVE them so much !! Wearing them all year round❤
Legwarmers also are great for winter, camping/backpacking
So are space booties! Some of the camping brands sell almost the same thing.
so glad i stopped having a dress code after a certain age as a student, literally can’t imagine going to class without warmups especially trash pants 😭😭
I’m a unitard wearer, but only with a big baggy pair of shorts or a skirt over the top. Never on its own!
Good point! a skirt or shorts can save any outfit 😆😆
@balletreign the point of a unitard is to see the beauty of body in motion uninterrupted noncompetative with the outfit
That’s like a guy in tights who is wearing running shorts over top - this defeats the purpose of wearing the form fitting dance wear in the first place.
Not sure how I got to dancer TH-cam but I ain’t mad about it
As one of the sweatiest dancers on the planet I have to stay away from the trash bag pants, because I tend to melt. It's not cool to look like you peed in your leotard. 🤣🤣 And I HAVE to be barefoot in ballet slippers - I can't stand the feeling of tights in them.
Def relatable 😅😅
omg SAMEEEE!! me and my other ballet classmate sweat the MOST in my class, me is prob due to the more I jump and put effort in my work, the more warm it gets, which i hate smm like my back get sweaty, perspiration would be dripping down my cheeks, even my hands get sweaty too 😭if i could somehow reduce my sweat and get to have the chance to enjoy warmers without entirely melting or die of heatstroke, I WOULD GLADLY DO IT 😩
Ugh, I'm the same way. I sweat so much, and I cannot stand the feeling of tights in my shoes. They don't absorb sweat like they should, and they pull on my toes and bunions causing my feet to ache way more than if I just go bare under the shoes.
Yup! 😅
Ngl i thought this was a ballerinas reveiw balletcore but this was also pretty cool to see ❤
I love the strappy and cold-shoulder looks, but they really aren’t the most practical 😂😂 can’t imagine partnering in either 😅
😂😂
i did gymnastics as a kid, and i'm so seconding the strappy leotards bit. we were constantly fixing each others leos. on the other hand, brighter and bolder patterns were a huge thing for us, i think because gymnastics clubs (at least the ones i was a part of) didn't/don't really have a dress code. some kids even wore cami tops and gk or soffee shorts instead of leotards, although we weren't allowed to in the week before competitions
I just got rid of my 1980s parachute pant warmers. You can find at good will.
I did tights over if I was on my period felt better idk might just be in my head
Thank you 🫶🏻
Omg my uniform is a leotard with strappy backs and a wrap skirt lol
Thank you for opening up on this topic…..something that, as a male, I have never considered.
hi again! my latest comment was about how i'd like to pursue ballet, which i probably will be doing now! so happy to do ballet, and its all thanks to you.
Long time since I was in a class hehe, here are my yays
-wrap sweaters: my loves
-lace/mesh leotard: i do enjoy a minimalist or a bit sexy one i must admit, especially with long sleeves but getting a good fit is more difficult ^still wear these!
-stirrup tights and booties are essentials
Will never like a super floaty skirt though!
Y’all have such good ballet fashion sense❤ It blows my mind of all the ideas that y’all come up with!
P.S I love the trash bag pants!!! They’re so fashionable and unbelievably comfortable
Haha thank you sm! We’re glad u enjoyed this 😆😆
trash bags are always a MUST ✨✨
my ballet school has a strict dress code. no trash bag pants for me :'(
Tights, over leotards can only be worn if they’re black I don’t have a white panty line it’s easy to try on costumes so when you’re a professional dancer a lot of times you need to take those tights off and put a skirt on, but you wear the tights in class and rehearsal easier to go to the bathroom too when you have breaks😊
I love that you guys have a somewhat traditional fashion sense!! I love modern too, but sometimes its easy to get lost and going back to the basics is a great way to find your own style. Keep up the great work!! 🫰🏻
Edit: any ballet wrap skirts you recommend?
Omg i always wear trash bag pants and shorts. Bullet pointe skirt is my skirt!
Our kind of class-wear ✨✨
Wow thank you! So glad you liked this video 😆😆. It’s def fun to curate all sorts of items for ur dance wardrobe ✨
As a New Zealander, I loved the clips of the RNZB 🥰
This is going to be so fun! Can’t wait to watch this.
So exciteddd 😆😆 see yall tomorrow!!
Wow, I learned a lot from this haha. I’ve always wondered about ballet hairstyles and stage makeup! Maybe a similarly styled video could be planned?
We would love to do a vid on hair and makeup! ✨✨
i bought a biketard and like, i want to love it in practice, but i am so self-conscious in it lol. now that i have a knitted skirt i can wear over the lower section, i feel much better XD but i don't reach for it often :x
about the trash bag pant, i dont believe that it is allowed for students as it might be hard for teachers to see our legs. but i think this is only for students since my teacher wears it all the time
This is like two set violin but for ballet
Lol! The cut tights above the knee look like Spanx!
Another fun watch! Thanks, Ladies.
Thanks for watching! Hope u have a lovely rest of ur weekend ✨✨
@balletreign thanks, J and E! You, too.
Jordan youre so especially so pretty in this video!!
Thank you, that’s so kind 🥹
Hello girl's hope your week went well
We had an *exquisite* week, thanks! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend so far ✨🫰🏻
This was so much fun. And I clearly have some shopping to do lol
This is your excuse to go on a shopping spreee 😂😂
I'm not a beginner but I'm not advanced either. Can I wear leg warmers, trash bag pants and the warm-up bootie? Because the lower part of my body gets cold and injured really fast but I don't want to stand out, be looked at or worse my teachers saying no to me 😂😬
I have a VERY certified and very serious question to ask.
So, do you two go shopping for your outfits just for the videos? Becuase you seem to wear a different thing every show (at least your tops. you could be wearing the same pair of jeans under your tops for all we know)
Or do you just have that many outfits? And are you like “oh we are making a vid on so and so, let’s wear that” and are you two like “that doesn’t match” or “Eden, not that, I’m wearing green.”
I really want to know!
This Looks fun Super Excited!
Can’t wait to see you soonnnn 😆😆
I was hoping you would talk about elastic vs. satin ribbons for pointe shoes! Perhaps in a future video :D
Oooh yes def in part 2!! 🫰🏻🫰🏻
Was just reading recently that many pros go elastic for everything on pointe shoes. Much better for tendons, apparently.
@@annsalomon6645 they're also way faster to put on and theres no risk of a knot showing. But i'm not a fan of them, just aesthetically 😅 i prefer satin for sure
no idea why im watching this, I have nerver been and probably will never be able to take a ballet class, but Im kinda investetd in the outfit now ;)
How about shorts? :) Black tights? T-shirts? (scoop neck) Sweatshirts?
I have watched several of your videos, but somewhere along the line I missed your story of who you guys are….are you related? Friends? and are you in a company? Love your videos!
They're sisters!
@@hannahbarnes9669How sweet!

곧 떡상할 채널❤ 너무 재밌어요😍
Aww thank you so much! ♥️😆😆
part 2 pls
Pretty sure we invented tights tops 40 years ago LOL. Same as wearing thongs under UNITARDS but we could only get thongs at the Capezio store in Hollywood. Decades later folks figured out that panty lines weren't flattering ever. Yay dancers!!!
I hate wrap skirts so much lmao. I feel like they always look awful on me
Happy birthday Jordan!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Space boots! Love mine but I tend to fall of the edge of the boot 😬 so I don’t wear them a lot. Would love advice on how to keep them centered on my feet 😂
I’ve also migrated to skorts because I can wear them outside of class (double duty!!!). I do have a floofy skort and it amuses me during turn combos 😊
Thanks, lol. Eden was just being goofy 😅😅
Space boots weren’t meant to do a full class in, you will def slip off the edge bc of the loose nature of the boot. Most dancers keep them on just for warming up, plies, and maybe tendus but not much more than that. Twirly skirts are always fun to turn in! 😆😆
Also I love bloch booties! So Danca leotards are great, but their booties weren't as comfy
Bloch booties are the GOAT 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Ooo this looks so good 🤩
Get readyyy 😆😆
I am SO exited for this video! Hope it will give me some good ideas, and I can have fun watching y'all roast the ugly outfits!!
LOLL 😆😆
Yay!!!! Outfits!!!! What a great idea for a video ❤
Haha thanks! We hope you enjoy! 😆😆
I’m 65, and can’t do much more than seated marching for exercise. And yet having seen ballet wear influence fashion in previous decades, I am applauding this topic and looking forward to watching.
Could you do a ballet bun tutorial?
Yes! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!!! 😊
Ana luisa gang
Ayyyy 😆😆✨✨✨
I love you girls 🌹❤️🥺, i'm m so excited for the video🎉
Eeee 😆😆 see yall soonnnn ✨
Thanks for sharing ur experience! We def wear space boots at home during the cold winter months 😆😆
