My PB is 3:45, but that was way back in 2007. I ran 4x sub fours in my late 30s to mid-40s, but I've never done it at London. So now I'm in my 50s I'd like to try for that at London. I've done London twice, but never on good training.
Amazing running, Anya. Well done. My 1st Marathon was Loch Ness 2021, 4:21:05. I'm doing Manchester 2023, working towards 3:50ish, with lots more goal pace work, and ironing out the kinks in terms of lifestyle, nutrition, strength and conditioning.
Congratulations Mark, brilliant first shot at the distance! Good luck in Manchester, we're sure you'll smash it & if you need any warm up races head to runthrough.co.uk!
So inspiring! Thank you for coming on Anya! :)
3.37 btw! (practice what I preach) haha
This is an awesome story! My current PR is 3:17 marathon (8 years ago), and I’m looking to drop it down to 2:55ish in the spring.
GOOD LUCK! YOU'VE GOT THIS!
