This is a build that focuses on the beautiful and iconic FromSoft weapon, the Moonlight Greatsword or, as it is name in Demon's Souls, the Large Sword of Moonlight. Combining the special characteristics of this weapon with a secondary sword and board option, we achieve a very versatile build that provides large amounts of fun.

I love this weapon. I wish they kept it as a faith weapon in later games. I’m doing a full faith build/Pyro build in elden ring and realllly want to use this smh

@@aidenmclaughlin1076 I don’t like how that looks. And it’s where near as cool as a shining blue sword that shoots out waves of moonlight and also causes frostbite.

Wtf! I'll just started a faith playthrough a few days ago! I went temple knight instead of priest. I killed Phalanx, Tower Knight (more levels to make Valley of Defilement easier), and Leechmonger and got the Large Sword of Moonlight right after. Stonefang Tunnel is incredibly easy with it. I'm looking to get Geri's Stiletto next cause my mana is much too low

@@_Tomas_inooo I think I just took it very carefully and ran past enemies with thief ring after Leechmonger. I used firebombs or halberd for rats and probably some slash weapon for the depraved. Abuse the fast movement of Demon's Souls and crazy backstabs. Fire shreds Leechmonger though I think it still took me a couple tries. I think I used soul remains to lure the slugs away from the sword. I also pumped FTH to 40 as quick as possible making the LSM crazy and world 2 insanely easy. I stopped playing in 3-2 (I probably got busy and just forgot) but seeing this has encouraged me to return to the playthrough!

@@lain_from_lain can you help me coop to get though the first level of valley of defilement to get the moonlight sword? I dont know i cant the boss down even with fire and the run is difficult too. I even got 2 red phantoms because i died 2 times in human form me dumbass :/
What’s a good weapon to use before getting the moonlight great sword?
Right off the bat, you can get the Blessed Mace +1 from 5-1. You can rush it and suicide run for it. Scales with Faith, gives you a bit of HP regeneration and it is Blunt damage, so it works great against the Skeletons in Archstone 4. This should hold you until you have the Stats for the Large Sword of Moonlight. Thank you for your comment.
How do you have 4 miracle memory slots? I tried following FightingCowboys faith build with 16 int and i only have 3 slots...?
Faith increases Miracle Memory Slots. At Faith 36 you get your 4th Slot. Thank you for your comment.

Very weird I started literally this build 2 nights ago and looked for a guide for info on how to squeeze it amd couldn't find one and then this pops up. I was thinking doing 99 faith for absolute maximum wrath of God damage but I know that cripples stam and vat
I definitely do not recommend FTH 99 unless you are planning a meme build. Running FTH 69 in this build is already meme-ish, but it works. I think that this set-up is good for what it tries to achieve. Thank you for your comment.

Talisman of Gods
FTH 99
Ring of Sincere Prayer (+40% DMG)
Clever Rat's Ring (+50% DMG, HP
@@FrownyGaming oh you are the man thanks brother. Yeah that looks pretty juicy for what I'd want it for, 1 question do you need the 14 dex for Morgan blade to get the full spelll buff? That would suck. Also curious foes ring worth it, it's only 20% rather than 50% for hyper mode or are those numbers wrong?

I have 24 faith and it appears that I have 0 damage with moonlight, why?? i need more faith??
This is honestly very weird. One reason could be that it is broken. But this weapon has a lot of durability. I would be surprised if this were to be the case. I can't think of a reason off the top of my head. Regardless, thank you for your comment.

I have the base stats mentioned to use the moonlight great sword but I’m only dealing 2 damage. Something’s not right here

@@JoeKerr420 Pyro in Demon's Souls is basically a Magic build but only using fire spells. In that case, a STR/MAG build is the best bet. Probably run a Crushing Knight Sword with some Homing Souls Mass. I'll see what I can come up with.
I don't have to invest that much in faith right? Becausat 60 I already don't gain much more damage points

I cant find it in the upgrades in the blacksmiths
This weapon is a unique weapon that must be upgraded with Colorless Demon Souls. This can only be done with Blacksmith Ed over at 2-1. Furthermore, you have to give Ed the Searing Demon Soul (Flamelurker) in order to unlock Advanced Forging. Have you done all of this? Thank you for your comment.

Absolutely. The Stats I show in this video are the ones I use personally. They are just a guide. You can level up more, or switch them out however you want. Adapt the build to yourself. Thank you for your comment.

Wtf why its Faith it is always int Weapon
Demon’s Souls was the first Souls game. This is the “original” Moonlight Greatsword in this series. At first, it was a Faith weapon. In Dark Souls 1, it was changes to INT, and it stayed like that for the rest of the games. Thank you for your comment.
