@Kyle Kissinger yeah I didn't read that first comment right. Let me further elaborate on why everybody is not good: there's a great deal of talking on the album, he clearly lacks political knowledge on the song America (and on some other songs that I forgot cause I haven't listened to it in a while). Killing spree comes off as someone who's vegan that tells everyone that what they're eating came from a unholy place. And the album is called everybody but it mainly focuses on black people being proud and beautiful. And logic is super annoying when he wonders why people hated the album when it's about peace love and positive vibes and everyone and everything is equal. You have nothing to do but like the album or else your just a trump loving, black hating person. Of course some of the songs I like such as black Spiderman, the last track( I don't know how to spell), and even America. I guess I like the basic messages of the song but I mostly listen for the estetic. There's more I have to say about this but this is already a cluster fuck of thoughts. 3/10 logics most corny and cringy concept album.
@Kyle Kissinger what I gave was criticism, not hate. I dont hate logic. Take it as negativity If u want but I want logic to improve, not give him a pat on the back and hand him a participation award.
Some artists STILL stand for something, they just aren't featured most of the time because they don't "stick to the message" that the record companies want you to hear, which is "Buy merch, act this way and do these things because that's what's cool." When really it's a smoke screen to keep the masses fighting each other and buying shit they don't need to keep the rich rich and the poor poor. Does anyone here really think record execs give two shits about some kid getting killed on the street because he had the wrong colors on or because he was on the wrong side of a certain street? Nah, these motherfuckers drink their $800 liquor and drive their Maserati's around LA and collect that money either way. THAT is the downfall of hip hop, people listening to the wrong message. Money, clothes, cars and hoes don't accomplish a damn thing.
Fuckyoubitchmurder Ebk 666 We can all tell your an immature 14 year old. I don't understand why you even comment something negative bro. My comment didn't affect you, yet you write something negative expecting it to affect someone else. I say you start to grow up a bit little man and show some respect.
It's so refreshing to see to see two mature and wise guys talk about hip hop and life. It's way better than hearing the trash from Charlemagne when he interviews Bobby
Logic is so happy man. I could see it thru the whole video especially w his lil dabs lol. I hope everyone comes to appreciate what he's doing and the message he's trying to spread.
WOW! you just made me feel not crazy. I have been struggling with similar situations with anxiety. not realizing that it was anxiety like you. I'm so happy I just saw this interview! ✌❤😊
ChumpCena That’s one has album tho and every great has had at least one bad album. Supermarket is a soundtrack so that doesn’t even count. Granted COADM was not good but YSIV, BTII, UP, TITS, BT, are all good to great albums, and Everybody is at least decent (I love it but I know a lot of people don’t).
It's not just his music that draws people to him, it's his ridiculously thoughtful and kind personality and his desire to actually help people. Such an inspiration.
No Name dude the whole peace, love, and whatever thing is mostly for this album only. After this he's most likely going back to his old style or start rapping about other things but I think this album is it for the whole equality speeches.
No Name It's a topic that still needs to be discussed, so major props to artists like Logic to take that step. What're you saying? That peace, love and harmony isn't worth mentioning and focusing on? Don't get me wrong, I missed them Young Sinatra days but it's important to identify Logic as a person with a message to share instead of it being just about the music.
I can relate to this guy so much with being biracial, also having to deal with depression, and anxiety. I hope in 50 years he will be considered one of the GOAT's!
One of the best Interview's I've seen in a long time Logic is such a Interesting & Inspiring person. Tavis does such a good job with letting logic talk but also listening to what he is actually saying and following up with great question's base on what logic has just said. 2 super cool people
I know he won't read this but I lost my little sister two years ago in a car accident when she was just 19. she was, is and always will be my best friend. she was a big supporter of my music and musical career and after she died I stopped all of it. picking up a guitar or ukulele or even trying to write made me so depressed. after finding this beautiful person via the music world, I am so incredibly inspired. God bless you Bobby!!
He speaks so intelligently. You can tell by the way that he speaks, he thinks about what he is going to say. I have been watching videos of him for the past two hours, and I can honestly say that he is so smart, and genuine. He is very inspirational, a true artist.
Hey... The interview is positive af !!!! Logic is aware of himself, and he knows/does all what he's talking about. How about we all get on that level...!!!
this was a fantastic interview. Tavis Smiley asked some really good questions ! and logics answers were very introspective. this was awesome :) #rattpack
Logic is such an inspiration. If I got to collaborate with him what a dream come true that'd be. I really hope he doesn't retire completely after his next album #RattPackTillMyPulseFlat
He isn't. He just ins't making any more albums after "Ultra 85" and he is also moving on to other things besides music. For example a family and movies
I get what you mean, but to even just get a feature off him, a single verse would mean everything. But if it doesn't happen I'll still respect him as an idol and inspiration
He is truly so articulate with his words and the way he speaks. I am very proud to be his fan and the positive message he spreads. Truly a top tier rapper of our time.
I rarely ever comment... Logic truly lives up to his name. He is a purely rational human being. A true genius in his art and in society. I'm a 34 year old man who has failed many times in life. But when I put on the track, "Man Of The Year" ... I'm a changed person. I pick my head up and I keep moving forward.
This is easily the GREATEST interview of all time. This guy is a true legen. His thought process reminds me so much of myself the way he came out of what his childhood was like by breaking the cycle and learning what BOT to be by seeing life first hand. He's amazing and I will forever be greatful that I was able to watch this and listen to him. I wish I could get this to keep forever so I can listen to it and even show my kids!
Then you need to change something in your life asap! I can recommend listening to "Reality transurfing", you can find 2 of the books for free on youtube. Hope you find your way out! :)
Damn, this is one of the best interviews i've seen, Logic is such a cool person, so down to earth and I love the messege he's giving, everybody should see this video and re-think there're life, he's giving to much truth
Tavis constructed this interview with class and respect. Logic and Tavis had a great conversation that I feel a lot of people need to listen to AND hear.
this was such a beautiful interview, that is all that's going through my mind right now. I just love watching interviews with Logic, he really makes us all feel welcome. I hope many people find this interview or any interview with Logic to be inspired to talk about their own mental health issues and struggles in life really.
This album was made to be listened to as a whole & in order. It is a concept album, where Logic (with the help of Tyson) literally invites you to be "open minded" and then paints the picture of his worldview to you $$$ It's not as political as people are saying. The brilliance of Logic here is that he does justice to the 'american-black-man's-plight' in this hip-hop album, yet mainly uses that struggle as a metaphor for the consciousness, reality & eternity of all men in history (& future) (no Hendrix) (well, I guess yeah, Hendrix included) (Jimi too). Anyways, I feel Logic in this project, sort-of invites you to be the black man if you will. I think he did it in a respectful way, though I'm not qualified to judge that as I am white, I'm not Kobe Bryant as my avi would suggest $$$ Finally, for who ACTUALLY listened, would you agree the point of the album is this? : When you hurt another, you hurt one's self and when you help another, you help one's self.
I don't know who has came up with the title of that video but definitely hasn't got that message...So powerful wisdom here, damn. I'm in awe of simplicity of the way he speaks about it, comes so natural for him. Bless. Spread it !
The most unhappiest people live regretting the past or worrying about the future. The present is a gift. When you live elsewhere, you're ultimately ungrateful of the gift you have in 'now'. There's so much beauty in life. Don't allow the enemy to make you think otherwise! PL&P
Logics album everybody was reviewed by the public waaaaaaaaaay too quick. First thing ppl got from the album was Race and politics. If that's all you got from this album then you weren't actually listening. As a fan of hip hop and a fan of music you should at least give the artist the respect of listening to the words they're saying.
Legend Totally agree with you. This album is about so much, it takes a few listens to catch all of it. Most people listen to it once and catch very little, but they're quick to judge because that's what the interned does. I think this is one of Logic's best album, and I love that he chose concept over the mainstream style. The speeches on the album get tossed out so quickly and it's a shame because they have so much to say and so much to stand for.
Logic is such an inspiration.. he is a pure example of wanting something and getting it. Everything told and showed him that he can't be shit. His family, his experiences, haters, critics, people all put him down and he still persevered. It shows you the strength of his determination and that anybody can do it if they truly want to
I'm experiencing the exact same kind of anxiety he just described. I'm suppose to see a doctor about it soon but it is making me feel like I am going insane. I hope I get my anxiety under control like he did. it sucks feeling like I'm not in my own body.
Much respect to him for discussing derealization, it’s extremely hard to get through. I had the same panic thoughts as to why I was feeling like that. Love life and make time for yourself he’s so right. It’s rare to find a woman who will be there to take care of your mental wellbeing. 👌🏻
"I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not." He said it so casually but that is lowkey the most inspirational thing ever
Keemstar's Daughter that's a kurt cobain quote
Keemstar's Daughter very well known quote
Cobain actually borrowed it- intentionally or incidentally- from André Gide's novel 'Autumn Leaves' (1942).
Keemstar's Daughter cliche
+Legalize Ranch VERY. lol
Logic has so much logic he's become the definition of logic.
Jonathan Bailey Nice!!!!! I dig what you did there.
Jonathan Bailey true
Jonathan Bailey is a pun or ideology ?
DEADLY&GAMING BROS I'd say both

When a high school dropout is one of the most intelligent celebrities you've ever seen.
What do you mean? Have you heard the Everybody album?
@Kyle Kissinger tell me what I am doing specifically that he says in the interview
@Kyle Kissinger and I didn't bash 1800 and black Spiderman. Those were the highlights imo
this dude does NOT stutter.... impeccable speaking skills.
Nice to see an artist openly talking about mental health
I'm going to show this to my middle school students. Such a powerful message!
damn u sound like such a cool teacher to play a logic interview in class
wish that was my teacher lol
Where were teachers like you when I was in middle school??? I would've had a much different experience, that's for sure...
Mikey Bee show them some classic hip hop as well. BDP PUBLIC ENEMY ERIC B AND RAKIM. THATS WHEN HIP HOP STOOD FOR SOMETHING.
Some artists STILL stand for something, they just aren't featured most of the time because they don't "stick to the message" that the record companies want you to hear, which is "Buy merch, act this way and do these things because that's what's cool." Nah, these motherfuckers drink their $800 liquor and drive their Maserati's around LA and collect that money either way.
THAT is the downfall of hip hop, people listening to the wrong message.
Money, clothes, cars and hoes don't accomplish a damn thing.
Logic doesn't rap, he teaches.
Fuckyoubitchmurder Ebk 666 We can all tell your an immature 14 year old. I don't understand why you even comment something negative bro. Granted COADM was not good but YSIV, BTII, UP, TITS, BT, are all good to great albums, and Everybody is at least decent (I love it but I know a lot of people don’t).
Andrew S. Everybody was a very needed album for logics career. It was soulful and had amazing instrumentals
logic seems so easy to talk to. like it looks like he could talk for hours, and it wouldn't even meaningless. so deep for such a young guy
"And then it clicked...I'm not a hater, I'm a lover!" #respect
It's not just his music that draws people to him, it's his ridiculously thoughtful and kind personality and his desire to actually help people. Such an inspiration.

It's a topic that still needs to be discussed, so major props to artists like Logic to take that step. What're you saying? That peace, love and harmony isn't worth mentioning and focusing on? Don't get me wrong, I missed them Young Sinatra days but it's important to identify Logic as a person with a message to share instead of it being just about the music.

"and and and and and and"- Logic
christian irwin I read that when he said that 😂😂😂😂

Crazy to hear him talking about DP. I'm struggling with it big time atm, and to hear an artist like Logic mentioning it makes me calmer.

Wize Salmon exactly man
Legend pisses me off when people hate on it for it being political. HIP HOP WAS MADE TO BE POLITICAL.
Legend The race and politics aren't the reason people don't like it. People don't like it because it's far too repetitive.
KilBlackmagic the hooks in a song are usually repeated.
I love how real, loyal to his wife, and self educated this man is
Damn this made me a Logic fan. He’s a good dude and doesn’t deserve the cringe label he is usually given.
Logic is such an inspiration.. he is a pure example of wanting something and getting it. Everything told and showed him that he can't be shit.
