Yeah, coming from that other comment section to this one lol this, again, is money. Absolutely exactly what I needed. Thank you so much Miss Lovely ❤️🙌🏽🙏🏽
This is what I need help with the most! How do you get the paint down on the top and then go over it before it starts drying to achieve the cohesive finish?! I wish you would have filmed the whole top being done 😩
@@cookiemarie9960 oh I let the paint dry before applying top coat, but there were a bit of patchy areas which can happen sometimes if the paint is drying too fast and you're trying to lay it down as quick as you can sometimes the texture will come up different in different areas because it didn't have enough drying time to level out evenly, so then it becomes overworked while it's trying to dry. So because of that problem on the top, I laid down the topcoat because that will create an even finish again👍🏻😊 sorry about not filming the whole top, it's a repeat for every section, you work in one strip at a time apply it everywhere on one strip and finish each off by starting at one side of the dresser and not picking it up until you finish on the other side and then touch up any drips on the sides. I always wet the sponge before I use it in the beginning and then wring it out totally, and then apply thin coats, and this will prevent any texture ridges. You should only go over each section to lay it down initially and then go over max once or twice from one side to the other without lifting it up and then move onto the next row. And that way it will prevent it from drying up because once you keep going over an area once it starts drying up you'll create that texture again. This is the method I use on almost all of my furniture tops. I'll link a video here for you to watch the process more if you'd like, hopefully it helps!😊 How To Paint LAMINATE & PARTICLE BOARD|| IKEA Furniture Makeover! th-cam.com/video/01-u-I7vhyc/w-d-xo.html
