The night time visuals are great. I like how you can still see most of the environment around the track clearly instead of things looking like they have been painted black.
Having a full night cycle and rain from the base game really makes me happy and excited to play this new AC! I hope they don't rush the game before the final release
I wish I could keep an eye on that yellow Porsche as it went off. One instant massive improvement over any other feature for me would be the AI actually having a brain when they go off track or spin out. Becoming a vegetable at the slightest inconvenience (especially given how light the cars were when reacting to contact) was a huge pain that cost me, honestly at this point hours on its own.
i hope there will be mod support, community servers and online racing like in gran turismo, that you can just jump in and compete against other drivers. driver ratings would also be nice, so more skilled drivers would also get more exciting races, so it wouldn't feel too easy, but i don't expect it to happen. if this game has great physics it will probably hold its own very well. didn't expect gameplay footage of this game so early, only recently saw the announcement. thank you for providing us with your perspective on it.
Honestly, same. I am not seeing anything in AC EVO so far that is making me all that excited for it compared to OG AC. Which is ironic considering racing games at this point, especially on PC, have really gone stale. I constantly find myself going back to Gran Turismo 3 and 4 on emulator to have a more fun singleplayer oriented experience. Occasionally I hope on Forza Motorsport to meander my way through the weekly challenges, but it just feels so dull.
I have played most of the forza titles and I am so used to the community being absolutely brutally negative about pre-release news and about all features. I love to read enthusiasm about ACE and I am very excited to see what it will be like

If Evo nails the online racing in the beginning, they should quickly replace FM. I can't wait to use curbs again unlike the horrendous curbs in FM. I'll still play the original AC and enjoy being able to access the car files and modding anything on the car I want. That and the incredibly large track selection.
for me is the best racing game created in the last 10 or 15 years apart from iracing it basically boils down to that no need for wasting 15 minutes or 25 minutes talking about how good it is , because it really is .
One day i hope all this Assetto Corsa day and night, with modded rain/graphics and simulation-juiceness gets mixed with the audio from Dirt Rally 2.0. The soft body physics from BeamNG drive. The terrain deformation from Spintires. You drive to different tracks that exists in real life. Starting out with a low budget. Getting parts. Getting reputation, sponsors. Building a team. You can drive on offroad tracks, onroad or go racing in Dakar or even rock-climb. This is a huge project ofcourse. Probably would be difficult, or even impossible to make these days due to the insane calculations of physics of the real time soft body from BeamNG with the on top graphics of Assetto Corsa. But i can always dream.
That hand/wheel graphic does my head in, especially if my hands are in front of me already doing the steering. They need to do the same view without that thanks..
Just give me the current GT3, GT4 and Formula E cars and tracks. For WEC I have LMU, for F1 the Codemaster Games (for now). Assetto Corsa holds the official licence for the 24H of Nürburgring, so I hope they'll be able to have an authentic experience. Gimme Manthey, Frikadelli and Billstein Racing, and I'll be satisfied! How much do you know about AC Evo's plans?
ACC is an awesome game. The car sounds are awesome and tracks are great. This and gran tursimo are the best motorsport games out there IMO. And of course Iracing
Yes to me the lighting and atmosphere is gorgeous from what we’ve seen so far. One thing thing Forza does nicely over GT7 is the atmosphere during different conditions. This has that vibe at times. It’ll be interesting to see what they release after the early release. Having backroads around the nordschleife aloone if the graphics match or surpass GT7 will be enough to get it, if the driving physics is true to AC
Really for me if this just took some of the physics and audio from ACC and combined it with the amount of content and community features of assetto corsa it'd be a good game.
Well, it seems like Gran Turismo and Playstation is going to have to suck it up and start releasing onto the PC now. ACE is going to take the simracing world by storm with just how good this Pre-Alpha version looks and performs.
Good to see the master GT racer test out AC EVO. Im not able to play GT 7 since my Fanatec base in only compatible with XBOX :(. Got it on a deal from FANATEC's last years Black FRIDAY horror show. AC is the closest you will get to GT 7 on a PC or XBOX.
You sure it's not the wheel that's incompatible? Back when I briefly had a Fanatec base and wheel for PS5/PC, I had the option to get a separate wheel that would work with Xbox. Ended up returning and going with Simucube though, so I'm fully locked to PC for now.
@@RickBeacham I looked it up and apparently you’re out of luck :( PS5 compatibility is determined by the base, not the wheel. You can get a PS5 Fanatec wheelbase to work on Xbox with a compatible wheel but unfortunately not the other way around.
Looks better and plays better than any GT games and maybe just any other sim racing games out there. I'm really excited for this.. but I hope they don't forget to add an actual game this time, because boy AC1 was just a nice sandbox and nothing else. They all rushed to say things like “it looks awesome and feels awesome and it’s awesome mega never ever seen something like this and feel this kind of things”, without going into the details a part from Traxion.
I understand the hype but there was a ton of hype for rally game, for rennsport, 1.9 physics update for acc before release was “amazing improvement” after a while “better the 1.7/.8 at least there was a functioning Tc and Abs.
Steve has been fair and straight to the point. Which is what everyone can say when trying a PRE ALPHA
@@Psychoh90 you summarized it perfectly
@@oppos727 i would not say someone affiliated to GT to be the best for a 'level take'. He is quite hessitant in his voicing. Weighing his words. It doesnt feel genuine.
@@vennemans9113He's a real racer now and at a pretty high level. So i wouldn't be so quick to throw away his opinion
this looks amazing, my ONLY observation is that the vehicles behind they disappear in the mirror. You can see it in 1:00
You can set the distance at which vehicles disappear in the mirror for better performance in ACC too. I really don't think that this is a bug.
The night time visuals are great. I like how you can still see most of the environment around the track clearly instead of things looking like they have been painted black.
Having a full night cycle and rain from the base game really makes me happy and excited to play this new AC! I hope they don't rush the game before the final release
I Racing has the most diabolical physics. Calling that a sim is a bit of a stretch IMO.
Windshield wiper physics look great. It's something few sims do well. Let's hope this goes better than TDUSC!
Finally after 10 years we get a good Chase Camera as a default LOL
No way, this definitely looks better than GT7.
Definitely looks like a racing game.
Need to see more before getting excited in any capacity.
@@JustSomeDinosaurPerson one of the main benifits of evo will be its single player, car upgrading, and the way better multiplayer support
It's not a racing game. It's a racing simulator
@@ImKairyu That is the only reason I am interested, but there is little to no showcase of that so far.
@@marshal7969that's the same thing
Its a game
Really good overview of everything there is to know about ACE. Stayed pretty neutral about the game. Nice video Super GT! 👍
I have played most of the forza titles and I am so used to the community being absolutely brutally negative about pre-release news and about all features. I love to read enthusiasm about ACE and I am very excited to see what it will be like
Ah the nostalgia. Remember buying netKar PRO with Assetto Corsa Technology Preview.
same! i forgot i had it!
For a Pre-Alpha, the game feels VERY promising. There is still a lot of room and time for small additions or fixes.
I am soooo excited about this gameeee - AC has done so much for the sim world - very hyped. I did play the original AC early access .. oh the memories, there were like 3 cars available, no multiplayer..nobody knew about the game except some random youtube videos - so happy AC got so big - they deserve it!!!
The chase cams actually look rather ok for a sim
Yeah, I know only 1% of AC players will care about that, but I noticed that too.
I like that something like RealHeadMotion is already baked in to the cockpit camera
Thank you for dropping by Steve.
You said AC Evo doesnt have the GT7 level graphics, I dont have gt7, so could you elaborate a little bit on that, cause i think ac evo looks freaking golden!
Bro listen. Evo looks AMAZING. But GT7 is a marvel of modern technology. No game on the market comes close. Asked anyone who owns the game. It looks impossibility good.
@@blackrahk2037 Bro listen,
@@blackrahk2037i think it looks a bit too cartoony and the offtrack looks quite old.
At least what I see on videos. Acc on my screen looks better for me
@@MHWGamer I think they've got motion blur and stuff on which gives it an arcade-y look? Like a forza game or something. Hopefully you can turn that off.
@@blackrahk2037 maybe in photo mode and replays, during normal gameplay fm8 and this new ac looks muuuuuch better
Speaking of ACC, you should play it and do some laps around the Nordschleife since they added it to the game semi-recently.
Steve: "Hello viewers! AC Evo Guy here!".
Spot on mate! Looking forward to this to. Next time I hope to shake hands on the expo🤘
Looks pretty good
One thing I was waiting for that you did not mention at all is the realism quotient and your take on it.
Thank You for great content, huge respect!
the rain looks great
I'm looking at Evo to be the Forza Motorsport killer and be the true console contender to GT7. The drivatars in Evo look like they drive aware of you unlike the horrendous drivatars in FM. If Evo nails the online racing in the beginning, they should quickly replace FM. I can't wait to use curbs again unlike the horrendous curbs in FM. I'll still play the original AC and enjoy being able to access the car files and modding anything on the car I want. That and the incredibly large track selection.
The mirrors are realistic!! That's really cool!
for me is the best racing game created in the last 10 or 15 years apart from iracing it basically boils down to that no need for wasting 15 minutes or 25 minutes talking about how good it is , because it really is .
So excited for this game. Everything they're talking about and suggesting yet to announce is boding super well.
This is going to be the best racing game in the market for years to come by a long shot
rain looks great
Love your videos keep it up
The review I’ve been waiting for
Note the game only releases on PC in a couple of months as Early Access. You will not see it on consoles until end of the year at the earliest
Man i only drove the Hyundai and am allready super hyped ! for me they can bring this out as a demo allready !
ACC is an awesome game. The car sounds are awesome and tracks are great. This and gran tursimo are the best motorsport games out there IMO. And of course Iracing
I think car models looks the same level , as GT7 , and the lighting is so good
Yes to me the lighting and atmosphere is gorgeous from what we’ve seen so far.
I doubt the car models are same level at GT7. The wet Alpine from 3rd person looked really odd.
Nope, GT7's car model has 16 million polygons, ACE has less than 500k polygons
Visually it looks pretty mids.
@@electronbashful540 they don't as the game would be unplayable if they did. they'd be 300 to 500k (LOD 1 anyway)
The mod support for EVO will be legendary
Let's hope.
Hello Super Gt, viewer here.
Assetto Corsa EVO looks fantastic.
GT7 and ACE content. Yes!
It looks amazing and vibrant
Really for me if this just took some of the physics and audio from ACC and combined it with the amount of content and community features of assetto corsa it'd be a good game.
damn missed you there, looks like you`ve been there on Friday
Nice video and looks like ACC EVo will be a great game
Not even flexing 3rd person view on those sim racing elitists? You’re a changed man, Steve!
2:10
@@Super_GT haha, can’t believe I’ve been bible-quoted like that
Hopefully there’s a way to adjust the side mirrors so we can see more than the sides of our own cars!
It must really be stated that it releases in January in Early Access, not a full release.
Well, it seems like Gran Turismo and Playstation is going to have to suck it up and start releasing onto the PC now. ACE is going to take the simracing world by storm with just how good this Pre-Alpha version looks and performs.
If the multiplayer daily races is as approachable as Gran Turismo it'll be a hit
Cars disappearing and reappearing in the rear view mirror was interesting
Good to see the master GT racer test out AC EVO.
Im not able to play GT 7 since my Fanatec base in only compatible with XBOX :(.
Got it on a deal from FANATEC's last years Black FRIDAY horror show. AC is the closest you will get to GT 7 on a PC or XBOX.
You can buy adapters for consoles, a number of PC only wheelbases work on PlayStation this way
You sure it's not the wheel that's incompatible? Back when I briefly had a Fanatec base and wheel for PS5/PC, I had the option to get a separate wheel that would work with Xbox. Ended up returning and going with Simucube though, so I'm fully locked to PC for now.
@@AdamsOlympia I would have to check. Its possible.
@@lfox02 Oh really? WHich one is best?
@@RickBeacham I looked it up and apparently you’re out of luck :( PS5 compatibility is determined by the base, not the wheel. You can get a PS5 Fanatec wheelbase to work on Xbox with a compatible wheel but unfortunately not the other way around.
Looks better and plays better than any GT games and maybe just any other sim racing games out there. I'm really excited for this.. but I hope they don't forget to add an actual game this time, because boy AC1 was just a nice sandbox and nothing else. It shouldn't be that difficult to offer a good single player campaign already, GT4 was 20 years ago smh :/
I hope it will be like ACC but with many more cars. Competitve, close and fair racing
Finally assetto corsa a new one I have the 2014 version but I was saving up to buy a ps5 and grand torismo, but now I can just wait for this and get it for my Pc
hopefully they can improve the performance more before the release but it is looking good
i just hope i can meet my mates at the devils diner for a catch up and a few beers, all of us in our IRL cars
I just watched this video not even realizing it was uploaded 20 seconds ago
Looks way better than gt7
FINALLY DRIVE CLUB RAIN PHYSICS IN A MODERN GAME
I do wish Polyphony would make a cockpit view without the steering wheel. Iv never been a fan of seeing hand and the steering wheel right in front of my own.
Honestly, I am the complete opposite, it feels weird not seeing the wheel in game.
Good job George.
I'm very excited for this game, it looks like it will be very fun to play. I hope they allow modding like the old acc
Really impressive!
How did the FFB feel from car to car? Was it noticeably different or a bit samey samey? (This was my main gripe with AC)
I just hope they make the braking realistic so its not just mashing and then release
Have they announced support for online racing series and leagues specifically? I had a huge league on Assetto Corsa the original and the only thing that game needed was better crash physics and a built-in leagues system.
SuperGT with the lapel mic purely for aesthetics there.
Hopefully it's easy to port over modded content like tracks/cars from the old to the new.
that won't happen being that 99% of the modded content in AC is copyrighted shit
@@yurilopes420 Yeah that's not really up to the developer or publisher to do anything about.
@@PURENT i heard in another video interviewing one of the devs that AC mods would be easy to port into ACE without much work. i think modding will look like farming sim. console will have dedicated official modding that has been approved by the devs. while pc will also have that but also have that wild west of mods
@@tacosalaten3677 I made an entire project just to build autocross & gymkhana tracks for AC 2014, here's to hoping the ACE modding sdk is just as easy as the old one.
@@yurilopes420copyrighted AND shit. So lazy when a mod developer just copy pastes a car model, gives it terrible physics/feel, gives it 800 hp even though the stock car is barely 400, then encrypts everything to block you from customization
I really like the look of it. Was the monitor aspect ratio 21:9 (ultrawide) or 32:9 (super ultrawide)?
I really hope they bring this game to console eventually. It looks like what I wanted Forza Motorsport to be.
Can't wait to free roam and happy they are open to modding
Looks really good.
so far best walkthrough among all youtubers
It's not a walkthrough.
@@samuelgarrod8327 it is, of a demo play
Steve thanks for sharing, has kunos added a built in content manager for the user generated content?
I just hope that when it eventually comes out on Playstation it's VR compatible. Mind you at the rate it's going it's likely to be a PS6 game. If it's not on VR it may well be the push I need to get a PC. I'm definitely looking forward to it though.
Damn I missed Steve, even doe I was there every day, including building and dismantling booth
