- Playing enlisted as the Japanese in the Pacific campaign is a bit of a drag in my personal experience so I’ve devised 5 tips that have helped me improved my gameplay experience going against the seemingly overwhelming Americans 🙂

Oh bro. I actually see lots of team mates building rallies, I'm talking about having 3 simultaneous rallies at the same time. And I'm glad for it. But that hasn't saved my last matches.
1. That’s good ! I’m happy more and more players are building . But I personally still don’t see enough . Rarely do I ever see 3 up 2. Yeah rallies alone definitely won’t save the game on defense but everyone using engineers will help for sure

I’m not sure how common knowledge it is but spotting also makes your Teams Bots Face that direction so even if your team isn’t playing you can use their bots to help, and it’s really useful for when a bunch of enemy bots huddle up in dark areas or keep sniping you from being a bush
I noticed that in-game I was like wtf is the bot shooting at the bit where you place a spotting .
Yes plz pass this knowledge to everyone it stops you bots from looking for butterfly's the other side of the map.
Great vid bro, lots of good info. I find getting overrun is the biggest problem, especially in enclosed spaces.
I'm surprised you win 50% of the time as the Japanese. I lose 95% of the time, it's just become the norm to go into a match, get around 20 kills while the US players get up to 60 to 40 kills each and then lose the game in about 3 minutes. The Japanese just really have nothing going for them, I've gotten up to lvl 19 in the campaign and can hold my own for a tiny bit but my team just always gets stomped without a fighting chance.
Lol yeah , at first it was just a pattern of me doing my best and still losing most of the time , I think the main culprit is how ppl go about defending , which won’t work the same in this campaign like others. Which is why I made this video cuz it is frustrating
@@Blvckguy bigger objectives probably make engineering even more important so when ppl don’t play engineer to set up the battlefield I could imagine losses happening faster. I do see a lot of teams constantly calling in artillery and it’s frustrating having stuff u build blown up,, but that’s the sort of thing that’s taught me to be more creative with rally points.
Good observation, I think a lot of the changes encourage engineer play it the importance hasn’t sunk in yet with the majority of players and isn’t explained up front . I try to doe 🤷🏽♂️
@Blvckguy I think it'd be a lot easier for everyone on the team if more ppl just did a little bit like some sandbaga and ammo boxes. Anytime u get a team with only one person building, they have to keep doing that and doing it pretty well in order for their team to win ( if the teams are relatively even otherwise). I end up getting tired of trying to build the win for my team and just go flying.

Pretty good tips overall. Japan is a tough campaign. But I do find players mark more overall compared to others.

I get in some really lopsided games both ways when I play this campaign. I get the impression veteran players hve taken to playing Japanese for the challenge, and they make it a challenge for me at least being low level on this campaign.

The Type 11 machinegun sucks too. I aim at knees to get headshots. Seriously! By like the 3rd or 4th screen-shaking-shot, i get the TINK--And i find it impossible to do on purpose *with* 3-4 upgrades
i was ranked number 7 top 1% of players on ps4 during the event •even fight• for the pacific campaign. i can without a shadow of a doubt conclude that there are just not that many good players playing this game or so it seems, and with the campaigns having their respective lobbies this only exacerbates the issue of low human populated lobbies due to the player base being split up between campaigns. It’s rare that you will have anyone not including you break 100 kills below the 1st 2nd and 3rd spots on each teams. this is telling as getting 200 kills can be quite easy for me. i think the general pool of players are mostly average at best and they may hold their own but sometimes bots do better than human players and i find that quite alarming for a game that has been out for quite awhile. i understand that new players may struggle but to give some perspective, i was breaking 100 kills my first day playing.. with level 1 campaign progress, bottom of the barrel squads against 2 year vets. Yeah i guess you can also wager that time played doesn’t outweigh experience gained overall ( other games ). You are either bad or good at video games. if you want to become good, you have to train your aim and the most important tip i can give you! MASTER YOUR SENSITIVITY, spend time going through the settings and tailoring your aim settings. this can make or break you in every game.
Mane I play as the Japanese faction only and I’ve been tryna find out what unit on the Japanese got the most men u can have
It’s def gonna be one of the riflemen squads , luckily rifles is what Japan is best at if you play medium/long range , you can put like 7-9 guys in one squad if I’m not mistaken too

@@Blvckguy I was referring to the ai squad XD. They need to get some RTS style commandment like plant mines, through grenades ,take cover and cover fire...just at the moment they are just extra lives (if they survive 20 seconds)or just farm killing for the enemy team
My issue is my team entirely consists of ranks below me and maybe a couple above, and the Americans lowest rank player is a corporal, I’m a Sergeant, I try to help my team with spawns and AT rifles and mortars but we always lose as Japan, seriously thinking about switching to america
True and not to mention the majority of the superior vehicles are American

So how much is it worth it to partly "buy your way" through the levels of progression? Even through knowing the later squads you unlock are not that that great as compared to the American squads?

I think the Japanese are slightly underpowered but more experienced players tend to play japan so it is kinda balanced
Type Hei doesn't take 5 shots! i Consistently kill with 1 shot to the chest. Sure most of the time it takes more than just 1. Sometimes 3 and rarely 4.
It just has to be fully upgraded. Theres no recoil, it does more damage and better drop off than M1 Carbine plus decent sights...

It’s a decent gun , def needs more range but I see the role they were trying to make for it . Wait til you get that type 4 rifle
I feel like the Japanese are pretty decent, all their SMGs have bigger magazines than the US, 30/50 compared to the 20/30 the US have and the Japanese have bayonets on thiers, the Ka-Chi (I call it a coochie lol) has I think a 45mm or 47mm which is the biggest caliber in the campaign but tanks are kinda meh in the campaign no 75mm HE like in Normandy or Moscow haha. The Americans have the BAR A2 which is a beast but the I feel like overall the Japanese are better but more experienced players play the US and people play Japan for the meme bc there's a katana lol

Type 11 needs accuracy boost. It's worse than smgs. Japan type 38 is prob the fastest bolt action in the game and low recoil.

@@Blvckguy yea but the inaccuracy is insane, literally not doing its job as a gpmg. I remember a gut staring me down at 100m as I wasted all my ammo trying to get him just to be casually be headshotted lol.

@@Blvckguy All the TH-cam videos make it seem that way. But my mileage has definitely varied...and I've been playing this game since a little after it came out.
with japan you either pick them off from a distance or you play super agressively up close , problem with japan is the somewhat brainless players that for example spawn anti tank squad but never use the anti tank rifle and instead play like regular infantry , half the team gets dominated by a single stuart , i started playing a few days ago and i picked japan as my main because i like the focus on bolt action rifles and good old bayonet charges or perhaps even swords , sitting at 68% win rate atm so i guess im doing alright , and im not playing other factions so i dont bankrupt myself
I play as Japan because when I started, I couldn't win a single match as USA. This is due to the fact that the US playerbase is fucking huge, you get paired against higher levelled teams. Now, I cant play as japan. Their standard rifle has the worst scope ever, and you get fucking swarmed from behind all the time as Japan. My team (Im First Seargeant, campain lvl 6) cant even hold my back whilst Im sniping.
The early tank of the Japs is Unusable, their tank squad is the worst squad in the game. The SMG s suck. The rifle scope sucks, the sniper scope sucks, the objectives they have to defend are unfairly set up, you get shot from the side after walking 5 meters. The US exel at close range and youre fighting in a Fucking Jungle. Id love to play the Pacific Campain but it has shown to be Unplayable on both sides somehow.
When it first came out japan was hella difficult , bout a month ago it seems like usa was hard , nowadays it’s more even but Japan definitely still has their work cut out for them , unless you like a challenge or partied up with friends maybe just play usa or diff campaign. You right their arsenal is def more suited for medium long range combat

@@Blvckguy yesterday I rushed to a site and I saw a shit ton of Americans so I stepped back and tried to nade them and there was a guy who screaming, dashing to the site wielding a Katana, and he literally cleared the site with a Katana. What a fucking legend.
