    I ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى to reward sheik Hamza for this effort. He has a unique way of delivering a lecture thats always astound and stab conscience.
    I’m far from you in proximity, yet still benefiting from your knowledge and sipping from the cup of divine guidance. Alhamdulillah!
    May Almighty continue to increase you more in beneficial knowledge.
    The more you learn, the more you realise your own ignorance and know that you actually don’t know.
    We just have to be HUMBLE. We thank Allah (The Most High) for the divine gift of Knowledge and guidance of our nabbiy ﷺ

    He translated سلالة من طين as chain of clay. I see it usually translated as an essence of clay خلاصة and other scholars connect it to Adam being made from different clay from different parts of the earth.

    What about the children with genetic disorders due to mutation when both parents carry the recessive gene that caused the illness?

    • @Reewnat
      @Reewnat ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Only for clarity, what specifically are you asking about regarding the scenario you described?

    • @SupermanOG
      @SupermanOG ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think the point he was making is that the created form of the human is free from defect. Meaning that a diseased human being is not how we are all born for instance. So even something like recessive genes have their origin in mutations which would be the result of impurities / environmental impact on human DNA ( diet / lifestyles / drugs etc )

    • @Sabina-tk4nl
      @Sabina-tk4nl ปีที่แล้ว

      The only disorders I can think of that may be due to environmental causes are autism and cerebral palsy. I am talking about humans born with genetic disorders which often happen in cultures that practice marriage between relatives. If both parents carry some sort of recessive gene, there is 25% that the child inherits both copies, resulting in a genetic disease. There are many different genetic disorders that vary from heart disease to developmental disorders.

    • @SupermanOG
      @SupermanOG ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Sabina-tk4nl that’s not true. Almost all diseases have an interplay between genetic and environmental factors. The environmental factors may have affected the parents or ancestors which have mutated their genes. Damage to DNA can occur through environmental factors. We often underestimate the power of our diets on our genetics - evidenced by how consumption of junk foods can be a risk factor for cancer - this is damage to DNA occurring at the molecular level.
      I agree cousin marriages can increase the risk of rare genetic disorders and the chance multiplies when it’s done generation upon generation. But again this is through people’s own wrong doing / lack of knowledge one could argue.

      Autism is a genetic disorder with co-o curring conditions such as Hypermobility Ehlor Danlos, Ehlor Danlos there is currently 12 types Ehlor Danlos has genetic link to ADHD, sensory processing disorder, pragmatic language disorder, compromised immune systems, later in life osteoarthritis, Fybromalgia often much is misunderstood about pervasive cognitive developmental disorders and their heritability. There is research ongoing also into intergenerational trauma upon the DNA. But also into how demographic groups with these conditions are adversely treated within communities due to poor research theories and negatively portraying these demographic groups.
      Allah made everyone without flaws but economics drives medical models that portray these demographic groups negatively as burdensome
      When you research pre industrial revolution models including prophetic medicine, Avicenna, Chinese, ect they focus on temperaments, humours, and importance of balance via diet, connection to creator, and lifestyle. There is also a discussion and warning within texts of Avicenna the focus on the physical measurements of an individual yet today in Western medicine there are Dysmorphology clinics which determines the worth and functionality of demographic groups.
      Allah (SWT) creates us with no Flaws society, medical models driven by materialism and economics potray certain demographic groups are of less worth than preferred phenotypes (Eugenics) and as burdensome.
      Is Allah(SWT) not blessed to see all his creation as without flaws and provide knowledge to allow them to create balance with their specific temperament, knowledge lost to the west and dismissed as alternative interventions yet predates the medical models.
      Neurodevelopmental disorders and the co-occurring conditions are predominantly genetic in causation.
      Allah (SWT) creation are flawless.
      But no doubt intergenerational trauma, poor diet, environmental factors, disconnection from a creator, materialism, economics, compound a person's development and growth, sense of identity and well being are affected creating I'll-ease & disease.
      Allah (SWT) created as all flawless society driven by economics view demographic groups negatively and isolate these groups and devalue them. Also impacts upon the balance, health and well being of these individuals within these demographic groups.
      Allah (SWT) is gracious, compassionate towards all his creations,

    what is the source that "embryology" confirms psychological life at day 1? Surely the difference between mud and meaningful life has to do with psychology? In the same sense that defiling a corpse is not the same as killing a person? Perhaps a ruling with regard to the zygote could be more akin to a ruling regarding rahma toward plants? But we don't show this regard to other microscopic life. Regardless, I am certain that no part of western medicine does in any way corroborate any claim that there is psychological life at day 1 of a pregnancy, because, I dare claim, there are no claims of any possibility of thought, emotion, consciousness and so on without nerves. And the zygote is first of all one cell, which would make any kind of nervous function impossible, since the effective function of a nerve is to conduct a signal; second it displays no particular nerve-like morphology, nerves being a specialized type of cell.
    Is western medicine right with regard to the human soul? I at least don't think it's adequate, but that is more down to a kind of speculation on my part. The question is why the shaykh quotes it as an authority.
