I'm looking for another fun project and have been eyeing the FJ C's and ran across your channel. You've done a great job with the chosen products - well thought out! Clean Audi in the background, we're running an SQ5 and E-Tron for daily's
@@travis4619 Awesome! Thanks! The FJ’s are very fun! I’ve definitely took my time on my build choosing parts. That’s my wife 22’ Q8 for sale👍🏻 Thanks for watching and commenting💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Looks great! Have you driven them in the rain and had to brake in the rain? Im thinking of getting a set, wondering how well these do on the road. Are they smooth at 70 and not too loud?
Thanks! I have driven in the rain and hard baking w/no issues. I do have power stop rotors and pads that do help. They are smooth through all mph’s, I mounted them my self, no machine, and I did not balance them w/weights, just used factory dots on tires, aligned them w/ valve stems and no problems. Thanks for the comment 💪🏻
Well if this ain't a small world. Mr. Chavers what's goin on brother?? How crazy to be lookin up fj vids and run across you 🤣 Love the setup. Just bought a 2007 and was looking for some ideas. Tell the fam I said hey. Btw its Jason Flowers
😂 That’s so awesome! I bought mine in 2016, I love it! I’ve spent lots of $ and time turning wrenches on it. My brother Mark is going to die when I tell him you commented on a video🤣💪🏻 Very small world!
Man it looks like you spent the family nest egg on that thing 😂 but it does look sweet. I'm probably just doing a 3" lift and level with the biggest tires I can get without doing a bmc for now even though I would love to go with 33s or bigger if nothing else just for the look. How do you like the supercharger? Havent watched your other vids yet but are you running the factory TRD or Magnuson? Yeah last time I ran into Mark was a couple years ago at Lowes. Havent seen Lance in years
I have not upgraded anything with the steering and no issues. I have my re-gear set ordered and waiting on delivery. I’ll be doing a video on that soon.
Not yet, but I will be in the next few months. I’ll be working with East Coast Gear Supply on it, I’m going with 4.56 gears and I’ll be adding a front locker at the same time.
@@r_y_e6071 Yes it will hunt for gears, but I can control how it shifts by apply throttle or releasing throttle. This is mostly when I’m in cruise control and in hilly conditions. It was worse when I 1st installed the wheel/tires but when I had it tuned it cleared up 90% of it.
I’ve had them for a year with stock gears. My FJ is supercharged and I could tell a noticeable loss in performance replacing my 33’s with 35’s. I ordered my 4.88 gears last week from ECGS. I’m excited to get my performance back. Thnx for the comment👍🏻💪🏻
@@TheDarkFJ I ordered mine already built through ECGS, with a ARB front locker, keeping factory rear E locker. I did all recommended upgraded bushings/fluids and it put me at $3k. This will be the only mechanical work done to my FJ that wasn’t performed by me, I will be the one removing/installing the 3rd member and front diff tho. 💪🏻
Body mount chop, trim plastic inner fender at mudflap area, upper control arms, caster forward slightly on alignment, hammer the pinch welds in fender well…I’m sure I’m forgetting something?

Are the Geolanders noisy on tarmac. Lovely FJ you got there.
They’re not. I did a lot of research about the noisy before purchasing. That was a selling point for me👍🏻 Thanks dude!💪🏻
Perfect stance, looks awesome!
Thank you💪🏻

I love the supercharger, I haven’t done a video on it yet but I’m planning on it. I went with the Whipple kit by URD.
If you put bigger tires and lift kit to Fj, do you have to upgrade the pinions as well?

nice set up! did you change your gearing ?

@@toyotatrailtrash how does it run with stock gears ? any gear hunting ?

Good deal! Hit me up if you have any questions. As my wife says, I have lots of useless FJ knowledge 🤷🏻♂️💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Do you to upgrade the pinion after installing these tires and lift kit?
I’m doing that in the coming weeks, probably in June if I can schedule the time. I’ll be with east coast gear supply on it.
Did you have to regear your FJ for this big tires?

what did you have to do to be able to fit 35s?

@toyotatrailtrash I have some questions. I’ll DM you later. 😉
