I work for a utility company and bought one of these for the m18 blower i keep on the truck. Blower gets used to clean up the sidewalk and street after we’re done working, and the long factory nozzle just took up too much space when stored in the trucks tool cabinets with all the other tools. Threw this on and now the blower hangs off a magnetic hook from the top center of that cabinet, and i still have access to everything else that’s hanging on hooks inside the cabinet around it. Blower is still powerful enough to blow away dirt and sawdust, despite the nozzle being only a faction of its original length. Wouldnt wanna try to clean up my lawn using this, but it offers a good balance of space saving vs performance for my needs, where real estate inside the utility truck’s cabinets is limited. Also - this is great way to make cleaning out your dryer vents easier. Just run a cheap brush through the vent from inside the house, and when the brush is done pulling out all the big stuff, shove the blower nozzle into the vent and blow it out. So much easier with a short blower.
I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
Was the car waxed previously? I bought this stubby nozzle for my milwaukee m18 fuel blower and it wasn't powerful enough to push the water off the car. Just ended up dispersing water around but not off the vehicle. Used a 5amp battery.
The demo vehicle shown in this video is ceramic coated which makes the blower more effective. We highly recommend applying some form of hydrophobic protection to your paint if using a leaf blower to dry the vehicle.
That’s my question. Does it actually dry better? If it’s just aesthetics or “safer” because it’s shorter with a condom on just the tip than f’n forget it.
@@projectguyprojectguy9019car either needs to be coated, freshly waxed or your clear coat needs to be in good enough shape to have decent hydrophobic qualities. If the water ain’t just rolling off the car these leaf blowers ain’t really gonna do it. Need something more powerful.

Wow - that's barely as strong as the aliexpress handheld $15 units are now... obselete in just two years. Milwaukee has taken a massive dive in quality too.
@@MrPepelongstockings I bought one of the Aliexpress air dusters and it’s not a good solution for car drying. They output a high air speed but severely lack volume (CFM) which is important for car drying. The batteries in them also die pretty quickly and the motors aren’t meant to run continuously. That said, they’re great for quick clean up jobs like blowing out a keyboard.
Etsy or eBay both links in description. Although on Etsy you can buy from individual people that are printing these for alot less than this company is charging for them

Thanks for the kind words! Love to hear you’re using your STUBBY nozzle for other applications besides car drying.
43 seconds and I’m sold😂😂

I have the same experience. Thinking of getting the Greenworks blower which is more powerful and giving that a shot.

can you make one for the ryobi 40v leaf blower
OMG! thank you for posting this; i'm gonna print one out-- would love to support if these were ABS instead of PETG
Wouldn't the Milwaukee shop blower be better for this application or is it not strong enough?
It’s not strong enough

Awesome. I feel Milwaukee is lacking in this field. They don’t have many if any options for blower nozzles
This is consuming my work day. Hahahaa
came for the blower, ended up with the vein and gun show
These are awesome. Do you make one for the Greenworks 80V blower?
Not yet but it’s on our todo list!
I'm going to have to try if my M18 Fuel blower can even dry my car. I'm pretty sure it can but I never tried
Will a Stubby Drying Nozzle for the new M18 Dual Blower be available?
Yes! Working on it now.
Looking forward as my new blower arrives tomorrow. Thanks.
Will these fit the dual battery models as well?

this car has ceramic coating thats why the water moved away so fast. For non coated car will be much slower
How cool! If it had an option for an even smaller tip that would be awesome too! Like maybe a 1” or 1/2” diameter tip.
How come? I think it’s short enough as is?

It would be more fun to take the car for the spin to dry it off.

I already returned my M18 + nuzzle, totally weste of money. It works on ceramic coated only.. 👎

It's a waxed car. just drive it down the block, same result.
Not if you're a detailer.
Yeah your girlfriend drives down the block to get dried off too LOL.....douche.
