NIGHTMARE LUIGI ATTACK!!!!
I love that you can play devil’s advocate for Bad Box-Art Megaman, but Death Note Simon was too bad for even that lmao.
Beanie DeDeDe is something I didn’t know I needed it
Ok I know I’m late but I just want to say thank you for this, you are filling my hyper specific niches with these videos
I will say though: Kid Icarus Uprising has a battle mode, it’s similar to the Kirby ones where it’s in that range if “Just take how they play and make them kill each other”, but it is still there
You can only play as Pit and the variety is based entirely on what weapon you have equipped so I get if you didn’t want to include it because of that
Keep up these types of videos I really like them
Thank you so much for enjoying the video!!! I'm super thrilled to hear that you enjoy my content!!!
And yeah TBH I didn't bring up Uprising since the gameplay of that focuses more on weapons rather than playable characters, which in my mind brings it closer to a third person shooter than a fighter, but it was probably worth at least a mention at the end
Also, in the Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2, there's the costumes for the characters which are based on the Mario Bros characters..... I know it doesn't count, since it's just costumes and not the actual characters, but I thought it would at least be worth mentioning. 🤷♂️
This video legitimately changed my life. I was brought to tears multiple times by the sheer beauty of of your prodigious wordsmithing skills. 10/10 experience
25:48 that pose actually may reference the Pokémon with rocket punch an exclusive Pokémon anime
I think Samus and Ridley appeared in the background of a dead or alive game
Edit: Lucina and Chrom also appear in Project X Zone
Holy shit they actually do, thats crazy!!!
(Also sadly Project X Zone is a tactical rpg series and not a fighting game series, but still a pretty dope crossover!!!)
They do?! Where where!!!!?? 😳
@@gustyko8668 pyro sphere was a stage it the 3ds version I think
@@alleycatgaming5433 that is sooo cool!!
you remind me of Cybershell in all the best ways possible :)
This is a very good list. The difference between alt 3 and 4 in Castlevania judgement is that you can put silly accessories on all the characters and they'll go on those alts.
Also i think you forgot MinMin and Arms.
However if you're willing to include indie and obscure games there's even more times when characters appeared.
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser were all in Kart Fighter
Mario was in Dong Dong Never Die and referenced as Rario in Super Cosplay Wars Ultra
Mario, Samus, Megaman and Simon were in Famicom Fighters
Samus, Link, Cloud were in Card Saga Wars
Sonic got Sonic Smackdown and Sega vs Capcom: The Next Level
Joker has a fan Persona 5 fighting game that's being worked on
Little Mac in a technicality in Fight Night where Super Punch Out Little Mac is there.
And Lucario almost made it into Pokemon: Close Combat, which is a fighting game with only fighting type Pokemon.
Thanks for clearing up the the Castlevania Judgement alt costume question!!
Also Min Mins from a fighting game series so she wouldn’t have been covered anyway, in the same crowd as Ryu, Terry, and Kazuya, though i probably should have at least mentioned her!
The indie interpretations are pretty cool too, but with just how many games their are like that out there i feel like its a topic wayyy too broad to cover in any sort of meaningful way
@@wishfulranger22Another thing I want to point out about Pac-Man, the dash, the flip and the ground pound are actually both referencing the Pac-Man World games.
1:33:45 well, Takara did make videogames once.... for a period of time at least (not too different from their competitor Bandai).
It's a great video
I really appreciate the amount of work that went into finding every instance of these characters.
However, for the olympic games, why give them so much focus when everyone essentially has the same movesets? It feels a but off the mark from what the video was implied to be.
Now that you mention it, yeah i guess that section took more a focus on the games and modes themselves than the actual characters in them. I was just trying to make sure i was being thorough i guess!
I’m so hungry
W video Mr. Ranger 💯
did Kirby Fighters not get a rating or was it just too similar to the base Kirby games to get a rating?
Too similar to get a ranking!
Terrence? I thought his middle name was Maurice
Also those Pac-Man moves come from Pac-Man World and World 2
It is, i just call him that as an in-joke
