High-Performance Prefab: The Future of Construction.

Since its launch in 2019, the CleanBC Building Innovation Fund has provided financial support for a wide range of GHG-reducing initiatives.
ZEBx, B2E and CLF BC have all showcased some of the recipients and projects over the last two years in the CleanBC BIF series. The newest addition to this series is an inspiring video that showcases the burgeoning wood prefabrication industry in BC. It features Winton Homes from Prince George, Collective Carpentry from Invermere and BCollective Homes from North Vancouver as well as thinkBright Homes. Without a doubt, prefabrication is the future, not just for high-performance homes, but for the entire building industry.
ZEBx, B2E and CLF BC are program areas of the Zero Emissions Innovation Centre (ZEIC). ZEIC is an independent non-profit organization and member of the Low Carbon Cities Canada (LC3) network. ZEIC’s mission is to catalyze, accelerate, and scale climate action innovation across BC related to green buildings, renewable energy, and transportation.
