why is everyone sleeping on the Canucks player development? The Canucks development staff change players. They turned a depth defenceman Zadorov into a top 4, they worked on Joshua, Juulsen, Hoglander, Myers all have improved as players under their development. I think they turn out another gem in Desharnais.

I disagree with your assessment of Cole. I think he is a better defenseman than both the guys we got. If I was to make a bold prediction it would be all three forwards on the Petterson line getting over 30 goals. Hronek was hurt before the 40 game mark. He could get up to 60+ points.. So much has to do with starting healthy and no injuries. A bunch of players played hurt before the halfway mark. Stay healthy I could see a lot of guy doing great. But people can't get to crazy with the scoring. And that being said I think we will one of the top scoring teams this year. Roll four lines that can put up numbers will cause all kinds of head aches for the rest of the league. I hope our new defensemen do better than I think . And it is a issue with the goalies.. I hope they get it straightened out before the season starts. I have no issues with our forward group. We win with blunt force trauma and consistency. I think Brock will get between 40 45 goals. I sure hope he can get 50. Our depth is better than most teams.. And my final thought is we start slower than last year but in the end have a few more points.

If Canucks can have a healthy DEMKO by Christmas. They have a 25 % chance to win the cup

I hope we see Jonathan Lekkerimaki (LEKK' erimaki) in a couple of games this season just to get an idea of how he looks playing against NHL talent. Too many players' names get "Dhali-fied" in Vancouver, even Elias...(ELL' ias) (EEL' ias) (e LYE' as) 😅 I like listening to TSN's Gord Miller who is spot on giving our star in the making respect by pronouncing his name the way he does and it's done in Sweden. th-cam.com/video/Uf4kZENoAE8/w-d-xo.html

I also was greatly disappointed in how the Podz situation ultimately played out. Hard fail.
    Go 'Nucks and Habs!

I'm going to say there's some regression. We're not going to surprise anyone this year, and we can't get career years out of as many guys as last year. Brock will be 30 not 40, Miller will cool down, Hoglander will as well. Hughes won't play as much with Hronek so he'll be down, but some newcomers will hit. Look for a more distributed scoring and a great 4 line team. However we will be behind last year by 5 - 7 points.
