This is also wrong. The Orb counts towards the unit pool so you won't get any higher odds. To make pros and cons clear: Pros: you save bench space Cons: you might not get the unit if the pool is already empty, but gold instead. (For example, 2 players already have vi 3* then you collect the orb and get gold instead of a vi)
@@olivergro7105 man, Mort literally said he was wrong. While in the orb, the champion is not generated and not taken from the pool. Orb just takes the champ from the pool after pickup. That's why you can get gold instead, if there is nothing to take from the said pool. "The orb pulls the champion from the pool the moment you open it and not before. I mean so it's less about "I have bigger chances to hit" and more "I have a 10th bench slot". So it's still good to not pick it up if you go reroll comps.
Good question. Because Mort acting like its a ridiculous assumption is arrogant. Especially because champ duplicator can generate units that are depleted from the pool.
@@brillbull8415 Duplicator seems to have changed. I tried on a unit with none left in the pool and it just popped the Duplicator back to bench over and over.
Mortdog is in no way arrogant. He's one of the most responsive and kindest devs who actively interacts with their playerbase and makes the game constantly fun and enjoyable. You wanna see an arrogant/uncaring dev? go look at Respawn/EA.

Even if it didn't, you'd usually want to just wait to pick up orb regardless to minimize clutter on your bench
