Great video! I brought and installed the Bushwakka 270 on Ranger Wildtrak without canopy, took a bit of work to fab up frame and brackets, but soo happy with it! It's much better than the traditional awning it replaced.
I put this awning on ages ago. I find putting an expanding pole across the outer middle adds removes that floppy look and adds rigidity to the front for an awning. Also folding brackets so it's in the flat position when travelling.
Great clip and I am sold on this awning. I have a Off Road Animal roof rack also. Just wanting to know your bracket set up for this awning. I want to take the awning off when I am not off road. Can you show some pics of the brackets you have used or just let me know what brand. Cheers and great work once again.

Great video! Are you able to do a rundown on that tub rack? Looking at my options and that looks fantastic! Do the sail planes on the tub have a 80kg load capacity like some say? Cheers!
Cheers! Unsure of the load rating on the sale planes. I'm unsure if they take that much weight, rack is connected directly to the tub. Putting together a video on it soon

I have ordered the 270 and will attach to my upgraded Kings MT2. A little worried about supporting the main pivoting connection. Not sure, if anyone else has had to install an awning with brackets that are close together, I would be keen to hear about how they found the twist in the main pivot connection. My plan B is to buy a Big FA RHS aluminium section from Ulrich (awesome company) south of Brisbane and run it the length of the awning.
Yep 2 min job, I only put it on for trips and day trips at the beach (will now the 270 version) 4 bolts bolt it onto the rack. I leave the brackets attached to the awning.
I feel like the only reason you'd get a 270 is if you had a canopy. I'm not sure I'm going to get a canopy or not, so I'm undecided about which one I'd go.
Even with a canopy it can be tricky, I’ve been wanting a 270 awning but its hard as I’ve got a canopy window that opens up really high, its most suitable on a wagon, its possible for alloy canopy’s for sure, but I’ve got the fibreglass canopy, and theirs workarounds you need to do to have a 270
These cannot withstand wind, the back arm on mine snapped at the weld point and it wasn’t even too windy. Almost hit me in the head. Wasn’t too impressed to be honest

270 Bushwakka for me without a canopy. I like the idea of covering the tub so the fridge and stuff is shaded out of the heat on those beach days.

I just used the factory ones for this one. You can get brackets like racksbrax that make it easier to take it on off etc
I went the darche 180 that's another good option

Have gone to a 270 style. Never had an issue with water getting into the cover.

Was everything included in the box? Mine only came with one pole and two guy ropes, the shop told me they’re only supplied with one pole

Would be about 2.1 (with my tyres lift etc). Ideally some sort of roof rack yes
