Kharn doesn't betray Argel Tal. That's Erebus. He does it to get kharn enraged because Tal's his closest friend. Kharn gets the title "betrayer" on skalathrax where he burns and kills the guys on both sides. Calling them cowards for stopping fighting in order to find shelter from the freezing cold night.
I'm just viewing your rulebook videos for the heraldry, and it's nice to see some core markings for the legions. That's something I've wished the original HH lore books had when it came to covering the Space Marine legion lore. There is heraldry, but not to the depth of stuff, like; Sergeant Markings, Veteran helmets, etc. I do plan on making a World Eaters loyalist force one day, so the heraldry there will definitely make me not worry about inaccurately guessing.
One strange thing about the World Eaters being red in the 41st millennium - you’d think it’d actually be predominantly brown with splashes of red; when blood dries it turns brown (think it’s because of something like the iron in it oxidises), so the WE being covered in millennias’ worth of dried blood would thus be brown. Maybe Khorne keeps it fresh. 🤷🏻♂️
What book is this in? In the Master of Mankind, Big E is with Arkhan (sp?) Land and they both determine the Butcher’s Nails cannot be removed because it would kill Angron.
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames might be a case of the writers from different books not discussing how to treat angrons nails in what context for the emperor, tho I’m inclined to believe that the nails were killing him so taking them out would have caused more damage or just straight up killed him
I love that because Ravening Madmen and Butcher's Nails specify that they only modify what the majority WS of the unit is, that they don't hurt characters or Angron in challenges. Shame Angron breaks Ravening Madmen though.
@@Ragehaven oh Crimson Path only applirs if your whole unit is infantry, and Angron is a primarch. Any unit he joins thusbloses the ignoring 1 wound thing. Good review! Not sure the rite of war interpretation is correct. I read the discarding of first wound to be before saves taken: 10bolter wounds becomes 9 saves, rather than 3 unsaved wounds becomes 2. So...... not as good. Keep up the good work!
Well it still helps a ton since defender gets to pick wound pool now. So if all the attacks are coming at the same time (say a Kratos with its big cannon then bunches of heavy bolters, or power axes and power fists coming at the same time) you can take the big attack that'll murder you out of the pool before you even roll. Only works if the attacks are coming in the same pool so a bit limited but at minimum you can use it in a melee combat to eat Murderous Strikes from paragon blades. Plus the IWND is funny and line on Rampagers is helpful. Shame Angron breaks it though.
No one ever found out because he killed them before they ever get a chance most likely but his armour is repeatedly said to be trashed after each fight so perhaps in his blind rage he was 🤔
@@Ragehaven yeah thats in lore, in game this now is officially one of the worst Primarchs to do a Primach duel with. That part isn't even funny. But hey, screw the lore right?
@@Ragehaven lot of lore speaks of martial poweress and not wanting to fight Angron directly. But if you hit him on 2+ I can't see why you would dodge him. The rule is just extremely odd to me and doesn't fit lore logic at all.

Part of me just wants to play World Eaters just to say “Olaf, Berserker”
“My love for you is like a truck beserker”
Ah, the best legion. I’m really excited for this.

Rule of Cool
After the Battle of Bodlt (i think that is the planet's name) the world eaters started actually painting their armor red.
Thanks for the video Ash!
So is it still good to arm your tactical marines with chain axes and bolt pistols? And always be charging?
Simple ABC
Always be charging
done a great job on these Ash.
The emps could not take the butchers nails out of angron as it would of killed him
No, it would have made him not useful. He straight up tells malcador as much :)
