Fantastic night with the inimitable Ace Hatem, bringing her energy and great BTS and fun insights! Followed by a tight, small FFA, but no less interesting! Thanks @The7thRule ! ❤💛💙🤓🖖🏾
omg the bodies! When I was a kid I had nightmares for a month. Not to mention I was afraid I'd find snakes in my bed. And I swear I could hear things. It made me super paranoid. For whatever reason when I watched it in college it didn't scare me anymore nor does it now. But this is the kind of of horror that usually gets to me. The intellectual horror.
The concept that stood out in this episode was the idea of why people can’t sleep and the idea of “Rapid eye Movement” helps you sleep. As a kid I knew nothing about this until this episode of Star Trek.
This was a fantastic review overall and Ace definitely brought a whole extra bit of fun to it. Cirroc and Ryan welcomed her in and got her talking, giving us some great history and insight into what her life is like. Awesome dig into the episode with The Lads and the APs in the FFA. Wonderful time as always in the Live Chat with everyone, ONE LOVE #ChatPack, The Next Generation of #ChatFam!!
To be fair she had an extra connection with that guy because they were both betazed it wasn't just her radar it was also him transmitting that made the stronger connection
Terrifying episode. Deserves a way higher score than it gets! For me it’s an 8.4. All the acting is really strong. Interesting moments especially with Riker, Crusher (that morgue scene is just too much for me to watch) and Worf. I don’t know why it gets a lower rating other than the ending not feeling so much hugely epic but more transcendental, almost, with the aliens communicating with Troi. Maybe as Jason said, it was the speed/pacing of the episode that detracted for some viewers. But the music is phenomenal, indeed. Ron Jones created a mood so distinct that I’ve not seen in almost anywhere else. I can become uneasy but just imagining the notes of the score in my head. It is certainly cerebral and psychological sci fi horror of the finest kind, but due to the pacing and lack of a truly masterful payoff, it perhaps could have been even greater.
A creepy little episode this one. If Troi's abilities worked all the time, we have some way shorter episodes and possibly no story at all in some cases. The way she was used in this episode made sense and she had plenty to do, being instrumental to solving the mystery and the problem. I love Guinan and Guinan with a large firearm even more. 😅 Could have been interesting to have her team up with Data to save the ship, since theywere the only two not affected. JMO. Catch you next time 🖖
I wanted to know more about the brittain. I'm disapointed. There is no information. The set is unusual in my opinion. It seems taller than most bridge sets. I didn't recognize it. So I wondered what it was.
wow apparently the entire staff hates it. I love it personally. Not in my top 5 of the season, but I do like it. When I was ranking all 7 seasons to figure out which season to buy, this went in my pro column for season 4. It was not in my should I take this over season 6 column though (when I was comparing just those 2)
"Riker acting tired he looked like a cave man" ummm yeah funny you should say that. It's called Genesis. It's of my top 10 worst star trek episodes (besides discovery obviously) of all time. That's season 7. So it will be a while

One moon circles.
"does anyone want to see setting number 2?"
When I was a kid I'm like OMG that was cool I REALLY want to see setting number 2 please!! LMAO
Great show @The 7th Rule!

So it was actually blue screen not green screen. I'm looking at a behind the scenes picture right now. lol

wow no wonder this is short. Not many people in the FFA.
I don't consider sub rusa at all. It's like VGR's The Fight. SKIP!!!

discovery.....ugggggg the only good things about that show are that it created SNW and that it's over. Unfortunately it's creating crapcademy.
