As a now 81 year old I am appreciating your videos of the High Country and looking forward to doing more in the dry weather. Have been on a lot of your tracks and sometimes have a bit of a pucker, however appreciate it. Laurie Marlin from the Idlers Club living at Bairnsdale.
My favourite video to date. I definitely will do that one for sure. I'm pretty sure your at Gavs camp at Devils Hollow. Those rocks is where he saw the snake. Luckly you didn't have the strong winds he had over that bluff. Much enjoyed mate. Cheers, BobbyB.
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it. Bit of exploring that ended up taking some side tracks. Can find some gems that way. Devils hollow was awesome love to camp there sometime.
Another fun trip. Love the chatter there about the LSD, that is exactly why I wont get a rear Locker in my Paj, I love the LSD. If anything I will go a front locker one day. Driving through the fog/light rain looked really cook. We copped that in The Watagans recently and it was a wicked feeling to be driving through it.
Thx Mick, yeah bit different having the camera in the car, prefer the higher angle of the external mount but sometimes some good stuff over the UHF. Was a lot of atmosphere this leg and some great scenery. Lunch at Devils Hollow was epic.
I pay scant attention to Hema's ratings. They are so out of date to be useless. Given the rotation of track grading, they have not kept up with conditions and therefore are inaccurate. As you know, conditions can change season to season and Hema just do not put the effort in to keep up to date.
I do believe they spent 3+ months out in the VHC earlier this year for the purpose of updating g their maps. So will be interesting to see what comes of that with future updates of their maps.

Excellent vid and an awesome route , can’t help but think you will come to grief with the road tyres one day . Have you changed them yet ?
Yeah this was the second last trip with them. :-) Much better now. Tyre upgrade video coming soon.

Yeah have to agree, way out of date in many instances... it's a shame as would be a useful resource for newbies..

@@endless4x4 Yeah maybe the next release will actually have some updates. Last couple have been pretty much cosmetic changes.
