- Starting our January 2024 Trip from Lake Buffalo we head south to the recently rebuilt Yarrabulla Creek Track to then enjoy what I consider one of the best ridgeline drives in the high country taking in almost 30km of ridgeline track from the Yarrabuck Track in the North, along the Buffalo Range track to Mt Selwyn Road.
Shout out to Dan, from Out There With Dan and his Iron Emu 90 Series. There will be some videos of these trips on Dan's channel in the future, in the interim, thanks mate for sharing some of the footage you took

Another great track for the wife and I to try. Done quite a few of your trips mate, it's channels like yours that give us beginners ideas of where to go and how difficult it's going to be. Thanks Jason all the best Kenny.
Thx Kenny that's exactly why I started this channel to help people make informed choices for their own trips. Glad it was helpful.
Great views fantastic scenery 👌
Couldn't agree more
Another great video, thank you Jason, Great recommendation for anyone that wants to drive ridgelines that seem to go on forever with outstanding views.
Great trip ❤
Thx mate was an amazing start to an epic trip. Can't wait to get the rest of this trip up!
Love that Yarrabuck track mate, fantastic country. After those showers, it turned into a pretty decent day. I'd love to camp a night up the top of Selwyn, would be some cracking sunsets and some crazy dog howls. Also looking forward much to seeing Humffray Track. Thanks again for your efforts. Cheers, BobbyB.
A camp at Selwyn summit is on my list as well. Think it'd be magic. Hummfray river track is always fun this time.though we do the entire track.
Great video. When you (finally) put those new and bigger tyres all your final drive ratios will change anyway, second might be faster for you.
@stuartmanuell4207 good poiint stuart I haven't thought about that since the change so you might be right. Thx for watching!
Great video as always. Another track to add to the list for whenever i can get back to high country again.
Thx mate, definitely worth the drive this one! Hope you manage to get back soon.
Really enjoyed this video , great tracks and great views , congrats for the awesome filming , hope to get my ford ranger in September and and experience the high country again ,would love to join your convoy when I get my ranger on a high country trip ,it's been 25 years since I have been in the high country, really enjoy your chanel ,cheers Graeme
Thx Geaeme appreciate the feedback. In my opinion there is nothing like the high country. I love exploring new places but the high country always calls me back.
Great trip, l will be up Buckland Valley next weekend so (weather depending) have a go at the first half in reverse coming via Scotchman Track.
Enjoy shane. Scotchmans track is a nice entry point. Buckland Valley is a great base for exploring. Enjoy your trip
Jesus Jase get some MTs or a locker so we don’t have to hear that poor VDJ at 4500rpm on a small rock step again!!!😂
Great vid mate 👍
Yeah this was the last trip with the highway terrains got some decent tyres under it now!
A few good tracks up that way
Definitely. Always new parts of the high country try to explore
