Excellent review mate, thx a lot.. Got mine coming in this week and can't wait to burn them in and getting into business with them. I'll report back on head-fi. Keep it up!
Thank you TDM for this one! Imma have to pass these for that kind of money though. I like the modded version and if I add the mods on that 😢 May be when they are on sale.
Ur fav its like.. whole things bra.. Just say u like erythin ha3.. Mine still all rounder a.. kickin only 1..nice collections anyway.. Wow u r startin into audiophile's region 7-41 with wow 15.4 single dd transducer that even bigger then ur ear drums hmm interesting.. Peace!
I came to buy the origin left with the 3T. Personally the origin main draw is the extra silky very accurate timbre with a moderately laid back texture. 3T is dry exciting and mid forward with significantly better texture and imaging. Take that as you will.
Hmmm interesting about the lack of imaging part. To my ears the 3T has crazy imaging and stage. Just curious what gear are you using as maybe thats the issue. Yeah agreed with the detail being average. Hmmm got to go check male vocals. Peroanally i found this set designed to be played loud since the transients are slightly rounded that is particularly noticeable on brass instruments.
Try them against the Twilight or Plunge Audio Unity and you know what really 3D stage sounds like. I tried with both my Geshelli Labs J2, Shanling M8 , iBasso Dx170 , Trust me I don't have a source issue. We all precieve stage different and alot of times it also reflects the insertion depth. With the 3T-154 I can't get a very deep fit and that might have been a big part of why the stage was so poor for me on this set. Super happy they created a great stage for you. Glad you enjoyed the set as well!
@@tonedeafmonk yeah we do. For me personally the softears twilight so costrophobic that it was a non starter even though it had a nice tone to it. Maybe it's fit issue on my part as well? Yeah yours sources don't seem to be a issue. I was looking out more for things like the og ifi zen or cayin ru6 mostly things that tend to limit stage. Tried the tape mod. I think it softens/streches things abit too much for my taste. Not worth the sacrifice for the increased lower mids.
@llysender Fitment will change the sound for every user. The Twilight for me fits so incredibly well and goes deep. Kevin in our group had the same experience you did a no go. Single DD my first choice I reach for honestly is the DUNU Falcon Ultra then the Meze Advar then Twilight then Wind then the OD200 love those 5 DD
It's like saying wine has a bad design philosophy because it gets better with age. Some things get better with wear and tear like your muscles when you work out or is that a bad design philosophy too?
That's not a philosophy, those are just bad examples. I don't buy a wine to store it in my cellar. I buy products to use. If you are a manufacturer and you (for some reason) think that burning is necessary for your IEM, then do it on your factory. Don't recommend me doing you job.
Too much work to make these a reasonable tuning 🤷 🤦
do u prefer this over moondrop stellaris and letshouer s12 / s12 pro?
Haven't heard the other sorry
Great work mate. Appreciate the increased production quality. i can see that you are having fun :))
i would love if you have a ranking iem list, and how does compare to planar of simmilar driver size?
Any planar would be more resolving two different kinds of tunings

Ibasso 3t 154 or Pula P02?
Maybe neither what kind of sound you looking for? That 3T-154 not going to fit alot of folks .
@@tonedeafmonk I like the Pulas tonality but wish it had more soundstage.
Maybe supertfz force 1 for next review?
I dont like the pina gain at 2 khz i rhink its not normal but its vocal forward
Doesn't sound like it with or without the mods for me.

Compare to the tanchjim origin?

From feedback from our group the Origin will slay it.
Falcon Ultra or 3T 154 for resolution or else? Thx
DUNU all the way! iBasso didn't come close

Burning thing (if it exists) is just a bad UX for a product. It's stupid that you have to wait X days before using it in its "final form".
