I just got the White Tiger “Zebra”. Really enjoying this set with the red ringed nozzles. This is a no brainer imho. This and the TRI Draco have me set for fun musical IEMS. Thank you TDM.
U got a new subscriber, I was looking for a review of this TRN because they look dope and interesting in terms of drivers. As a newbie this review help me a lot and just ordered mine today
@@tonedeafmonkyou have a lot of cables really, I just use an all copper cable for the I3 mk3 for a denser tone (my personal taste) and Draco, I use a silver-plated cable, both are really very versatile, also with silicone tips.
Great detailed review 👍🏾 How does it compares with Kefine Delci og & KZ KS12 pro x? I already have Delci, can I buy white tiger or KS12 pro x or any other iem under 100$. Please suggest.
The Delci is smoother and slightly warmer sounding not as bassy the most natural of all 3 you mentioned, The ZS12 is very good but not as natural sounding as Tiger and treble I'd not as refined and clean
Thanks for the share Monk, was listening to White Tiger this morning and agree, this one is a winner. Incredible sounding IEM, and at $69 usd, very nicely accessorized
@@tonedeafmonk This is gonna be a bit of a weird update, but I just got the CCA Rhapsody and I have to say that they are definitely more enjoyable than the EW300 and, in fact, pack _just_ the right rumble and punch I need without sounding veiled in the mids and highs. I thought I would've been underwhelmed but I'm happy to have been proven wrong on that part. My question now though is: how do _those_ compare to the White Tiger?
Is there anyone who says it's better than the ew300? If so, do you consider it better in terms of detail level? How does it compare to the other planes? And also which one would it compare to in terms of soundstage in all directions?
Review is spot on! EW300 is just boring for me. The Zebra identifying as a White Tiger is a real party animal. DD+planar finally done right! I keep telling everyone it's like a basshead i3 MK3. Beatifully done mids and treble, plus that mid bass I've been craving since everyone else is too afraid of some bass bleed.
I don't have any planar hybrids or just plain planars yet. Maybe this is a good starting point.. 🤔 If it doesn't have that typical planar unnatural timbre than I'm very tempted. Which usb dongle goes perfect with this one?
The problem of chi-fi in general is they do produce the trial and error to customers. KZ is infamous for this, even tricked their fans. TRN has the same strategy. They do keep up with new driver technology and sells what ever they produced to customers. At the end there too many misses and somehow we found a lot good success also. For TRN White Tiger, from you description, I can imagine the sound combining TRN Kirin and Conch. I like TRN Kirin, I think it's a lot more versatile compared to other 2nd gen Planar IEM, but not many likes it because of lack of bass umph. However, what a lot of people didn't catch was Kirin has the most natural, fast and engaging treble in an IEM. It never reached offensive level of sharpness, very detailed, very well tuned placement and very "high spirited" (for lack of better descriptive wording). TRN also produced TRN ST5, the 4 BAs and 1 DD hybrid was the first IEM that reached balance sound between treble and bass. However, the sound placement was exceptionally annoying. Then TRN renewed the ST5 sound with Conch. Conch has the bass refined better than slightly boomy ST5, right in between VX Pro and ST5. Conch got the details and the high spirited bass umph. Now as for vocals, TRN is not a specialist but they do produce above average mid frequency sound quality, especially in their top of the line. TRN White Tiger combined everything and dropped White Tiger in to the market. It has the characteristics of Kirin's treble, the umph of Conch and the balance of ST5. I believe the right intro to describe White Tiger IMHO is it the IEM to own if you are beginner so you can experience the high quality sound without losing the fun aspects. FYI: I'm a VX Pro fan and daily user. I use 2 VX Pro, 1 for multimedia consumption (customized with cables and eartips to sound narrow V-Shaped with wide sound stage). Another VX Pro is customized to be more analytical with flatter sound, softer, detailed, wider frequency range extension, very detailed and keeping mid frequency at the same volume as other frequency.
I'm digging this set 😍 and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg!😅
The White Tiger is on my radar. I really enjoyed listening to your review.

Thanks for the sub! Enjoy 😉
Thanks!
I’m going to pick up a pair
Great analysis Tone, don't forget to evaluate Tri Draco and I3 MK3, you will be surprised.
I have both coming excited for those
Both respond well to changing cables, especially the Draco, which increases its capabilities in balanced mode.
@herlonsilva Thanks. I have about 100 cables, so I will definitely give it a go any recs are appreciated?

Rock on! CHEERS 🍻
They could be a 5 ⭐️ in sound quality but I still wouldn't be able to get over that design 😅
Yup feel you.
Conch is great.. Is this as good a value as the Conch? What material is the dd diaphragm?
Definitely value equation like the Conch. No Info on the DD materials O could find sounds like a CNT driver and Pu ?
@@tonedeafmonk Thanks, man.. Will get it when it is available in my country..I need a cnt driver..
For bassheads specifically, would this set be superior to the EW300? I'm trying to find a sub-$100 that really provides that rumble.
But the KZ Castor black

Oh man exactly 💯 with you , can't wait to try the I3 MK3
@ineras3 En soudstage también es mejor?,y ¿Cuál es más realista en instrumentos?
@ineras3 perfecty said I love me some thick Bass IEM once and a while and the Planar tip end is great.
How does it compare to May, Symphony & canta ..?
What favorit unit iem do you like to turn to when listening to a song:
miely Cyrus: (mid night sky)
Evenesences:( brain me to life)
Thank you 🎉

Is it possible to compare the white tiger with isn neo 3?
No ISN for this camper sorry.

No planar-ness but excellent use of the planar for the Highs. Dongle of choice the TRN TE PRO sounded great iBasso's DC07 PRO was better but $$$

I wanna get it but that look is not my thing, I could probably rock it though lol
Nice review, i want to ask how does the technicalities compared to EA500LM?
Improved with the planar it's quite good and a step up over the EA
@@tonedeafmonk whoaa thanks, the white tiger definitely caught my attention with that 2dd + micro planar
Beats it off lol.
Sir, im torn between Kifine delci ae and this one😢
If you don't mind a little more thickness in the mid bass the Tiger it has such a fantastic top end as well.
@@tonedeafmonk thank you for replying sir. I will mainly use this on my android phone, music and movies.
Is it good for gaming?
Got ARTTI T10 to compare?
