    When you drive your cvt to maximize peak hp and best acceleration timing you got to double tap the gas until it reaches higest rpm then keep the throttle at 95% to keep it from fake shifting and keep it at peak hp rpm thats the advantage of having a cvt. That's the mistake most cvt drivers make on the 10th and 11th gen civic 2.0 liter and they think it's slow but once you fully understand how to quickly get the cvt get into a good rpm ratio by utilizing the throttle correctly instead of just holding it down waiting for the rpm to climb like it's a dct or a manual, you will maximize the cvt ability to go from 0 to 60 quickly

    • @dannyescobar6848
      @dannyescobar6848 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a 10th gen 2.0, so you’re supposed to double tap from a standstill, then don’t put the pedal all the way down? Sry I’m trying to get a better understanding

    • @BeatzbyArt
      @BeatzbyArt ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dannyescobar6848 from a stand still make sure you brake lock on. Hit the gas at about 40% gas then gradually apply more acceleration until you hit 25 mph and then double tap until rpm rises to redline. If you try to double tap from 0 mph you’re going to get bad acceleration timing and will make the computer that controls the engine speed ratio lag

    I'm for sure scouting the hatchback market and waiting for stuff to come around. Lot of things I want / would consider ( Taillights, quarter panel window louvers, etc ) are only Sedan right now. Only exterior mods I've done with mine so far, is the LED trims around the foglights ( They glow the road better than the foglights themselves did ), ebay front lip, and my dealer is drilling the holes next week for the HPD Tailgate spoiler. Will be fun to see what comes out of your channel, 2023!

    Just got my Sport tuned today, this video was super helpful with that. 2 things I had a question on, After you have your first tune saved, can you go back and edit that tune later at home and flash it to your car without needing to use a computer? My second question is what would be the risks of lowering VTEC engagement ? I feel like 5,300 rpms is still a little high and was thinking of changing it to 4,500-4,800 rmps. Thanks again for the super helpful video!

    Great video, Miller. Engine, trans and intake temperature and a lot more, with a choice of cool display gauges, and markedly much improvement when needed on demand, without the potential downsides of a turbo and GDI.
    When I get my HR-V Sport, I will get used to the stock performance baseline and contact K-Tuner about making a version with the Honda recalibrations for the HR-V. I wonder if under hood is almost identical to the Civic Sports layout and equipment. If so, lots of the stuff like the Park intake and other Civic parts like those dress up pieces may fit. Plus the FLHs aka Freaking Loud Horns. 😂
    As far as the exhaust, I would have gotten the Borla, but this is probably similar. I like the Carbon Fiber exhaust tips, but those blued Titanium tips are the bomb. The exhaust might be expensive, but just like stuff like that JBL Boombox3 and my store, if it's important and suits what you want and need, it is worth the investment. Quality stuff. There's cheaper options, but you get what you pay for, especially if you cheap out and have problems.

I’ve noticed when taking off from stoplights with a lighter foot, or when giving it a little gas at lower speeds that the car jerks a hair when upshifting and it makes a little bit of a farting sound. Does this tune fix this? It doesn’t feel as if it’s abnormal, but I think it may be the way that the computer is programmed to shift. when taking off with a heavier foot it seems to help, but I have to press the gas quite a bit for it to stop.
