Drakengard 2, the greatest game ever hated. The gameplay is fantastic contrary to what people say, it's fluid and fun. The music is incredible and the story actually has some really interesting moments. I am convinced people who dislike this game don't have souls.
its because of how disconnected the feel was when you compared it to the first game. the first drakengard was some brutal stuff and made you go through a lot. drakengard 2 was a good game and had some good shit but...its kinda off and disconnected from the "essence" that drakengard and nier have. if drakengard 2 wasn't part of drakengard or rather was its own game then it would have been a must-play. drakengard 2 will always be seen as the black sheep of the yoko taro universe...and the goddamn best game in its style, it makes you hate yourself on how much you love this fucking game. isn't it ironic that drakengard 2 in its own style and storyline would give dragon quest and final fantasy a run for its money but its meh when you compare it to nier and drakengard 1-3.
@@ner0568 drakengard 2 have a far better management of combat system and weapon respect to drakengard 1,. When you play drakengard 2 you feel a better sensation when you are using a new weapon,but I hate the ally management
I remember being on drrr chatroom for a medieval rp and I used this and an open field theme and so many people kept asking what is this it's amazing I'm like. "Damn im the only one who remembers drakengard lol"
I remember playing this on the ps2 demo disc's back in the day, I've never played the full game but I definitely remember this song. Man this brings back memories 😭

Nowe is annoying as hell. Pacifists can be pretty good characters to see, but this guy is not one of them. He is killing hundreds of soldiers and monsters but he hesitates so fucking much all the time it gets irritating. Nowe is a generic and not interesting character.
Says... you? whatever then i know he prob has not level of badassery like CAIM but you know what? i just loved Nowe's character for a more just simple noble and pure heart character type he was the LIGHT and LEGNA was the DARK that is why the 2 of them together did worked so well for me
Whenever I see an opened field or start an adventure I love hearing this song. It started with Drakengard 2 and went on to Eragon Dragon age and Dragons Dogma. This is one of the the most epic underrated BGMs out there
I'm pretty sure this track was composed by Masayoshi Soken, at least in part (if not in full). He's mostly known these days for his work on the score of Final Fantasy XIV, but he's credited for the music in Drakengard 2 as well (he's worked for Square Enix since 2001)
@@TheAncientMysteriesBeckon This piece, probably more than any other on DoD2's soundtrack, really brings his usual composing style to mind (chord progressions, chromatic scaling, etc), so I feel very confident in saying that this one is definitely one of Soken's compositions
by the real god of the universe.. this song..this song..this song is sooo EPIC & Majestic..loved soooo much & the thumbnail picture you use for your videos is perfect!! to bad that Caim or angelus does not seem to be in it..& I just pay attention to the detail on Nowe's knight armor,, is braking apart revealing the inner rebel armor o__o that is epic,, the meaning behind it, after all he was the 1st to open his eyes & rebel against the corruption of the kingdom that he used to serve
Strangely I played this game when I was somewhat young I think I made it pretty far to the second playthrough but gave up when I reached the mana clone boss which is impressive since I was young.
i love drakengard, from yoko taros script down to the music and the gameplay, what i want to know is how was the materpiece made, bit by bit, and the sad part is there not even allowed to tell, i am but another genius enigmatic creator waiting for someone to see past my skin and take me under there wing for good programming, but i can say i tried to make a masterpiece and i did so in my head, its never enough in that momment, japan what are you waiting for teach gaming because not even the willow tree knows and its veins are thick and well put together, i loved drakengard but how does this artist not have a youtube, thrillingly wonderful feeling game it is.
