That wasn't papaya that you bought. It was a different type of avocado.
They grow them in South Florida. But they're good! I grew up on them.
Papayas are more oblong and yellowish in color. When you cut into it there will be blacks seeds.
I was like wait a minute that’s not a papaya. It’s a bigger type of Avocado that originated in Dominican Republic. As a daughter of Dominican parents. The ingredients you bought don’t sound like any ingredients for traditional Dominican food.
Have you ever considered doing a pantry challenge? A pantry challenge forces you to use all the stuff you have on hand and only get the bare minimum (such as milk/eggs/ bread). You have an overflow in your freezers and refrigerators that I’m sure you can go at least 3 weeks without a grocery haul.

Are you still draining your pool water and water from your washing machine into your neighbor yard? I'm pretty sure that's illegal.
Hint for those on a tough budget: get dry beans. They cost about as much as a can, but you get 5x the beans. Also, potatoes, rice, canned veggies with no salt, and canned fruits in juice. Canned meat. And buy Ramen noodles, but don't use the packet. It's really unhealthy. Spice yourself. Or put the noodles in chicken Broth, and drop in an egg.

How much food waste do y’all have? I can’t imagine a toddler eating an entire bread bowl or an entire pizza?
Adults can eat what the little kids can't finish., that's what I did when my son was little, I don't put a lot of food on my plate so that I can eat what's left on my son's plate. Left overs can be put in the fridge too and can eat it the following day.

My 4 year old can eat 1/2 a pizza by himself. And a big old plate of spaghetti and meatballs and 4 adult size tacos. He's 4, tall for his age and thin like a stick.
Also what he doesn't eat his Dad finishes or I do. Nothing goes to waste
I never understood "eating your kids leftovers". Yuck! Especially toddlers! Who wants to eat cold, boogery food? 🤮
If you use a clip board there are “pen pal” you can get at Walmart which you can attach to clipboard or a notebook

I didn't know it was European when I first got it I just saw it was candy then after I ate it I got to looking and it said European on it. I thought that was cool. It’s the type of ice cream her children enjoy especially her child who has autism and he is particular on what foods he eats and is specific to his ice cream type.

It makes sense. Not everyone in the family has issues w/ milk. She buys almond milk too.
@@Susanjoc no it’s not lol. Cheese for example is very low in lactose so unlikely to cause any issues. Yogurt can also sometimes be consumed by people lactose intolerant, because of the way it’s made and what it contains, the lactose content is low.

It's not about the lactose, it's because her youngest son (he has autism) likes the red tub ice cream, same goes for the green cap milk and many other things, he wants them in the specific color.

If you are referring to the propellant, it becomes gas at room temp and dissipates after a few seconds. You don't want to spray it directly into your mouth bc then you actually could consume propellant that way, but when Pam is used the way it's supposed to be, it is safe.
I enjoy your shopping hauls. I have trouble sleeping since my husband died in Oct. And I watch when I can't sleep or when the baby is napping . I think you a doing a great job as a mom ! People can say what they will but until they walk a mile in your shoes .

My fiancé and I have an entire pantry stock! Plus always carry an extra bag or two for our dog! It’s so NOT wasteful! It’s great to always have on hand and when a storm hits- or you can’t get to a store, boom- you have it!
My entire family has a big pantry and it’s very smart! Guess who didn’t run out of anything when Covid happened?!😆

We do the same thing. We have 7 cats and after Covid and searching for supplies we decided to set up our own pantry. We have a dedicated room with shelving just like Alicia's and keep at least 2 months worth of canned goods, rice, flour, sugar, grains, beans, pasta, etc. and cat food!

@@pinkyfrosted6769 People that don't hoard and stock pile aren't idiots. Do you even realize that elderly people on Medicare and SNAP benefits only get paid once a month? They aren't able to afford to go to the store whenever they want and buy all they want. Those groups of people were at such a disadvantage, especially during the pandemic, when people like yourself bought all you could and thought nothing of it. Food banks were low on food as well. I work and volunteer with disadvantage groups and calling people idiots that have limited funds, and can't stock up for an emergency as you and your fiance can, is a horrible thing to say.

I'm new to your channel. I see you getting bell peppers & I thought about a recipe my aunt used to make. She made stuffed bell peppers. Bell Peppers that have a meatloaf style stuffing. It was so good. They were quite filling too.

A quick tip for picking lime, get the ones with the smooth skin(?), they usually have more juice (from someone who uses a lot of limes, from meat/chicken/pork seasoning to salad dressing to desert 🤣🤣)

I have a new dip recipe try canned no bean chili and take a stick of cream cheese and put it on the stove top and cook it until smooth. Make sure not let it burn and serve with chips and it so good your kids will love it I eat all the time. I have watch all of yours videos I'm biggest fan of your channel I love your recipes I wish I could shop at a wegmans store here in Utah

In Cincinnati where I’m from we call that chili dip, Skyline chili dip because we only use Cincinnati style chili for it. It’s a MUST have for Super Bowl!! Enjoy!

Public establishments are required to have more than 1 entrance/exit. So it’s probably not just an employee entrance

To save at Costco you gotta just stock up on basics, milk, sugar, flour, ground beef, deodorant, bath soap, cleaners,etc. The stuff you always need. Specialty foods dont really work cause you only need a "small" amount, and only once in a while 😊

Have u thought about once a month shopping or like shopping your pantry for a full week without going grocery shopping. I did that I had a surplus of meat that I vacuum sealed like last yr in Jan so for 2 weeks we ate nothing but what was in our deep freezer and pantry to clean it our and re stock and its almost there I think we need another no spend week..

Don't watch if it upsets you this much. Other people have a right to be happy. She is not boasting. This is her life. If you do not like it then follow the golden rule.
If this bothers you don't watch. She has never done videos just to boast or try to make others upset.
This is a big part of her channel, majority of us enjoy. I've never felt she was boasting, and I certainly dont feel that her family should not be able to enjoy things that they can afford although others might not be able to.

Alicia have you tried strawberry cream cheese? I was a bit wary about trying it. But once I tried it on a toasted bagel. Its amazing. Try it one day if you haven't yet.

You’ve got to try the queso dip with Velveeta. You use sausage, Rotel, Velveeta and green Chiles. I do it in a crock pot! So good! Google the recipe!

Because it is convenient to get your stuff from one place than driving to multiple stores . Also , not all Walmart's are the same some carry certain items and others don't . Plus Walmart is always insane , not enough checkout lanes and always hectic. I prefer to pay a little more than go there myself. And their produces well at least by me isn't the greatest and neither are the meats I don't trust them with meat.
