I always remembered seeing confusing screenshots in the Zelda II instruction booklet as a young child... Link without the little smiling mouth, later palaces with the "Level 1" gray bricks, maxed-out experience levels with the next level-up at only 4000 pts...

For some reason I remember the American NES version of horse head( Palace 1 boss) making a noise but it's not available on TH-cam. Does anyone else remember?
