Thanks Dr Berg! I cook up salmon and a half pound of bacon, let it cool chop it up and mix it in my salad. I season with sea salt, pepper, olive oil and apple cider vinegar to taste and its great! Sometimes I mash up avocado, thin it with water and season it to taste and use that as my dressing!
What I’m super impressed with is your Wheatgrass Juice Powder. I drink this everyday mixed in with unsweetened green tea. The pain in my gut is slowly going away and I believe I will always have to be careful with what I eat. I do have more testing to go through to track down my internal bleeding but the system is incredibly slow and my progress has strictly come from the changes in my eating habits, vitamins and minerals, light exercise and stress relief through the education of your videos! Please don’t ever stop!❤❤❤

Mr. Berg, in an ideal world, increasing vegetable consumption would be thought of as wise and safe.
    Not so today.
    Organic? Non-GMO?
Both are at the mercy of Chemtrails...in the soil and in the rain.
Greenhouse grown? A much safer choice.....also, far more expensive.
So, how about speaking on the minerals that need to fill our cells, that remove waste from our cells, flush blood and bowel of toxins....and help keeps us disease-free?
This would be vitally beneficial to your readers.

My gut does not like much fiber. Fiber causes bloating, gaz, cramps, constipation and fatigue (in me). I feel better when I eat less veg and more animal fat and protein. Veg has anti nutrients which block the absorbtion of vitamins and minerals and also can cause leaky gut and inflammation. Please stop being afraid of cholesterol and LDL!

By eating what are considered healthy foods I lose weight, which I don’t want to do as I am 5ft10 inches tall and weigh 158-160 lbs.

I’ve never been so healthy, had amazing mental clarity and energy, as I am now @ 67. Most people who see me assume I’m at most in my mid forties…🥩👊👏😂

@@insertmyidentityhere Who said anyone’s starving? OMAD on carnivore allows you to comfortably stuff yourself to full satiety, there’s no counting of calories or macros needed. Rarely am I hungry, and if I am I just have a cup or tea or coffee to tide me over. You’re obviously oblivious to the countless benefits of intermittent fasting, but ignorance is bliss I suppose. Stuffing my face all day with countless meals/snacks/lattes isn’t really my bag, but knock yourself out Texas girl…👊

@@michaelmcginnin1126 I'm Muslim from Los Angeles. Don't listen to these individuals. They don't know what they are talking about.
It's like when people used to tell me in my family about fasting for a whole month. Mind you, this dates back to about 15 years ago !! Now that certain of these family members are older they are now all talking about diet and eating moderately. And that's because they are facing health problems and/or have an overweight.
That said, intermittent fasting the way Dr Berg suggests is one of the best forms of discipline and diets one can engage in. I say this because we do a dry fast for a month and while this is an obligation and works, intermittent fasting is being able to have the option to eat at whatever time you want and whenever you want but not because you are programming your mind and opting to have discipline to overlook a mild hunger or craving.
Every metabolism is different but unless you try it, you can't knock it.
I never gave intermittent fasting a thought and now it's the best alternative without having to work out.
      Regards.

As always really good information from Dr. Berg. However, I noticed it's about a month old and the lipid science keeps progressing. Now the key lipid marker that's tying to longevity is Apo B. It's been such a hot topic the past year I wouldn't be surprised if Dr. Berg didn't have a video on it in his library. Usually, your PCP either won't know about it or run it, but your cardiologist, endocrinologist, lipidologist, etc. will really want to know how it's trending since it's a cardiovascular event predictor. Or you can pay for it out of pocket yourself for $35 - $50. If your cholesterol isn't high, but your ratios are concerning, you may want to Google information on Apo B or TH-cam it.

Replacing saturated fat with poly and mono unsaturated fat, eating a lot more fiber is what will decrease LDL.

Your recommendation of vegetables is too vague! I don't doubt you're correct with your data on lowering cholesterol with vegetables, I am however disappointed on you not talking about what vegetables in specific and where you get those best examples. For instance, locally grown ( NON GMO) vegetables that are NOT raised with harmful chemicals (Pesticides, herbicides, ETC) are the best and will address your cholesterol issues without causing other health issues due to the chemicals. I lean more towards the 'Carnivore diet" and there is a lot of research done on good and bad vegetables that are good for you. To say all vegetables are good for you is just untrue! There are many that have a defense mechanism built in that are quite harmful to humans if not prepared right or in some cases NOT consumed at all 🙂
