I really appreciate that DancingBacons never says anything rude or mean about the various items he tries. The most he’s said is “well, that’s just not for me” or “the price is too high for what you get”, which is completely understandable. It makes watching his videos relaxing and fun, especially when his friend accompanies him on his search for new foods. She’s amazing too.

11:00 I can confirm that plant based 'meat' is pretty pricey here in America too
especially the good stuff like Beyond Meat and Impossible Burgers, probably because it's still a relatively new thing and they've yet to find cheaper and more efficient ways to manufacture it

    • @pinkmonkeybird2644

Same here. I think you are correct, those vegan meat products are pretty new and are quite expensive because only a few companies make them. I like them well enough, but I try to avoid plant-based products masquerading as meat because of the cost, but I’ll splurge if we have a cookout or something. I still prefer to cook dishes that have always been meatless (I’m not a vegan), so I do make a lot of Indian food. I am lucky to have several Indian/Nepalese markets near me, but they don’t have the variety of convenience food like DancingBacons shows here. I’d love to try some.

I live in India but I have never been to a convince store where we get lndian packaged food ,majority of the Indians go and eat it fresh from a restaurant or Dhaba which is kind of a local restaurant in India

As an Indian ... I've always wanted to visit foreign countries. But now lookin at them eat frozen foods makes me pity them. Now I never wanna leave India.

They are just trying frozen food . It's not their regular meals. They just made for convenience. How ignorant can u be. You think India is the only country that has freshly cooked meals. 😂
Even I try frozen food at supermarkets just for o
Fun. You are the one to be pitied. Have no experience in the outside world just living in a well thinking it is the world, travel some! Then you can actually see the world.
