"Carmencita" is an actual Spanish brand! And pretty famous lol. I was surprised to see the "Paella" kit but it was missing the actual seafood. You could had bought a handful of prawns, mussels or some calamari and you could have prepared a pretty good seafood paella!! Just an advice: that looked like a lot of water, just double the quantity of rice and when the broth starts boiling reduce the heat to low and cover with a lid. Let the water evaporate without touching the rice for around 20-25 minutes and ready to eat!

Pro tip: don’t use silverware while handling caviar. It causes the caviar to oxidize, leaving a bitter metallic taste behind. Use a Mother-Of-Pearl spoon instead. They are specifically made to serve caviar, since it won’t affect the caviar itself

In other countries it can be from salmon, steelhead, trout, carp and so on... In the US though those would have to be marked as "substitute caviar"

I am for Spain, the Paella kit I never see in my country, but I can say is a good kit
Some tips for the next time, you can some veggies like pepper green and red with garlic and when there are done take out the pan and reserve for later, in the same place can add meet, seafood, and take out
The final step is the that you so perfect, but when you see you don't gave no more broth, can add more water
When the rice is soft and donne, add all the previous that take out and add
I hope I could help this tips in a future😊

  • @Thekikoblazko

The paella blew my mind. I´ve never seen that in Spain.
It´s not very similar to how it is actually done, but the result looks nice. So maybe it´s a sacrifice they´ve made to make it easy and fast to prepare.
The paella pan is legitimate and the brand is an actual spanish brand.
Sad it doesn´t have any chunks of vegetables or seafood.
The cost is okay since it includes the pan. If not, it would be too expensive. It´s just rice in the end.
Altough it will only be worth it if you end up using it more times...

Paella kit with paella pot (which is called paella, some people called paellera although it's not correct) is 17'99€, without the paella is 5'99€, but I don't know a single Spanish that use that for making a paella.
