I still never forget when I twisted my ankle on the second to last lap of the two mile and fell. You came running onto the grass, helped me up and ran beside me the rest of the 2 mile. You cheered me on the whole way and didn't let me give up. My time made me eligible to compete in the state finals and that medal is one example my kids get to hear about while they are now playing sports.
My Uncle Mike unfortunately is ill and couldn't come yesterday, but remembers how after only meeting him for 45 minutes you took the time to hear more about his Vietnam days and the clearanceville student who didn't make it back with him after he came to speak one day in your social studies class. You then took all the information and gathered his remaining family members along with my uncle to rename the baseball field after the fallen soldier, Timberlake in a beautiful dedication ceremony.
All these little things you do effortlessly because you are such an inspiring, genuine person. Any school district is lucky to have you!

I wrote a letter to the board. Before the meeting, my kids and I, who are now scattered a bit-prayed over FaceTime. Jacob is a huge fan always, as you know. You looked out for my kids (all!) and always encouraged deep thought! This video says it all…you are great and your new chapter will be too! Hang in there!

My name is Bryan Bentley. If my memory serves, I sat on the Board of Education when we hired Sauce. I considered it a good hire when we approved it, and am proud of the hire to this day. From what I can remember, the students loved the guy, and more importantly, they were inspired by the guy to do well, in, and out of the classroom, and as a school board member, that's exactly what you are looking for in a teacher hire. Quite honestly, I left the Board of Education, and Clarenceville in a bad way, a much worse way than Mr. Sauce, but my life has changed in dramatically great ways since, and I have no doubt in my mind that Mr. Sauce will turn this into something even better for his future. All I know, is that doing the right thing, no matter the consequences, allows you to sleep at night. Doing the right thing, allows you to look in the mirror, and approve of what you see. I've done some wrong things in my life, and didn't like what I saw in the mirror, but I'm pretty darn sure that Sauce has never had to look in the mirror, and not liked what he saw. He saw a guy who looked out for his students, no matter the cost...

Sauce. You are the inspiratation and founding structure to so many peoples convictions. Especially mine. You are the reason for so much of my educational success. It is heartbreaking, and yet the message you send is for unity and to turn the cheek. Fire, getting fired, whatever the reason, you will always have the loving support of the true community. We will all live better lives, and that is thanks to you. However the better lives are now distanced from this district. I will never raise my future children in this district. I refuse to pay into a system as corrupt, and vile as this district. Students eyes future and past, fathers mothers sons and daughters have all been opened to the stringy backbones of this board. We love you Sauce. We will always support you, the same way you cared, protected and supported us.

It’s people like you that make school worth going to. Hell, life itself. You’re an inspiration to so many people, and your connection you have with your students and your own personal code of ethics is truly remarkable. Doing the right thing by stepping into that situation, and not just standing at a distance doing nothing like so many others would. Absolutely inspiring. Your teaching style shows this so well, and everybody who’s ever had the privilege of being in the same room as you can say the same. Thank you for helping me so much when I needed you most. I was a new student to the district and you saw me no other way. Treated me like an adult, when nobody else would. I couldn’t have imagined a better person to teach law, or philosophy. This decision is a testament to the importance of goodness in the world, and the school will most certainly feel your absence. Change has to be made upstairs. But that’s a different topic.
Thank you Anthony, for all you’ve ever done. This school is atrocious.

You are the best teacher and coach that I ever had and I feel sick that your time at Clarenceville has come to something like this. Today I will be telling my own students about an extraordinary teacher who helped to change the path that my life was on. I hope that over the course of my career I can be half as effective as you at doing good for the souls of those kids. Thank you for the years of effort, thank you for the life lessons, and thank you for being the epitome of what it means to be an educator. I hope that you can continue to have an impact on future generations and that you are successful in anything that comes next.

All three of my boys had you for a teacher, Ryan Akers, Liam and Nate Moldovan. They were all there last night to support you, along with my husband and I. You have come up in conversations a lot over the years, because you were definitely one of their favorites!!! They have great stories about you!
I’m so sorry that this has happened but I do know this won’t define you! Sauce will go on. ❤️ Hey, I have a great idea, 🇺🇸SAUCE FOR PRESIDENT 2028!!! 🇺🇸Our country could use a man like you! Thank you for being YOU!

    Mr. Sauce! It's Briana S.
I heard about what was happening, and I shared the information with everybody I could to support you. I wanted to go in support and even marked it into my callander, but uh... I forgot it was today...
We are proud of you for doing the right thing, and none of us who know and care about you ever doubted you! If you do lose your job, then Clarenceville didn't deserve you anyway. I think it's stupid that there's a "code" to saving lives, but whatever... it doesn't matter. Whether you take this opportunity to retire or find a teaching job elsewhere, I know you'll continue to change lives everywhere.
And last note; thank you for everything, Mr. Sauce. My life and relationships have drastically improved after taking your philosophy class. I can honestly say that you saved me, and I will forever be grateful.
I hope things get better. Thank you for everything
