Based on the information you have given in this video, it does not appear that you fully understand this breed. They are excellent protection dogs.

You have no idea about beaucerons if you say that they are not for professional protection work
A little unfair. Shall we agree that the Beauceron is unbelievably versatile because of their combination of intelligence and patience. I worked with them in the French Army as a kid and those Beaucerons were amazing. Strong, protective and all of the military requirements as well. Including mine and body sniffing as well as guard duty.
My present Beauceron has a herding Role with sheep, cattle, goats and the (dreaded) bullock. But he is also domesticated and has walked the Camino over the Pyrenees to Santiago de Compostella twice with me. 750 Kilometres. We both loved it and will go again. My kids love him, as do my neighbours.
Let us not squabble over this fantastic breed.

Mmmmm ! Not Cute, they are Cool! They manage everything, both good and bad in a perfectly correct fashion. I would die for mine. I fought with them in the army as a kid and have two on my farm now as working dogs. Working dogs? Yes, but pals with both of them.

Awesome dog, great for families (will protect the kids), but you will need a lot of space.
I am absolutly delighted to have been able to introduce the Beauceron to new people. Of course they are better known in France because they were conceived in the Beauce (South West of Paris) in the later 1400s (or thereabouts) as working dogs. Another name for the breed is Berger De Beauce ( Shepherd from the Beauce ) and a third, less common name is Bas Rouge (Reg Stocking) - a bit racy, but a refereence to their leg colour. I really hope that you enjoy your Beaccerons as mich as I love Ragnar.

I had my Hindy in a one bedroom flat for years!
She was the most happy and great dog I ever had.
I was taking her out 2h a day. What ever the weather.
I know that some people with a massive garden and having a Beauceron doesn't take the dog out as much as I did and their dog was a lot more unhappy.
Beauceron is a very intelligent and social breed. They need to be challenged, taken out, trained, taken out for sport not having a huge space.
Among other inaccuracies one is that those beautiful and super healthy doggos get larger, the sizes posted are true for the females only.Males up to 50-55 kgs{110-120 pds} though on the large side are not that rare.Also Beauceron are excellent at protection but not really suitable for "condo environment" unless the owners are ready to give them at least around 1,5 hour serious excercise daily...Those quite powerful true working class dogs are not for everyone so to speak, big backyard at least is a must haha.

The "Bas rouge" (Red sox) like they are also called here, is a real farmer dog, not really for someone who doesn't really have large place or time for him to run. He can be very dominant with other dog and aloof and suspicious with strangers.
I have two on my farm. They are amazing.
