I love my Beauceron, but WOW is he stubborn. People don't realize how stubborn this breed is, by far the worst I've ever tried to train or work with. German Shepherds are a cake-walk to train by comparison (my last breed). But if you can manage to get them to obey and are patient they have an incredibly sweet heart. I think my Beaucy is also the nicest dog I've ever met, despite being a bit of a big brute who doesn't know what to do with his 100+ pound body sometimes.
I rescued a Beauceron from a kill shelter in Dallas and took him home to Kansas City. I thought it was a Doberman/Shepard mix until someone approached me at a dog park and informed me what I had saved from euthanasia. Turns out, it is a Beauceron I rescued! Best dang dog I have ever had in my life! ❤️
The Beauceron ONE OF THE GREATEST BREEDS ON THE PLANET! They are so loving and so intelligent. I still miss my sweet Molly Beauceron I lost 3 years ago. The breeds community heavily gatekeeps. They keep all rehoming in the (close-knit) community. Join some of the online groups for an opportunity to adopt one, and expect an extremely thorough screening process.
@@stevevoorhees8473 it took me 6 months to find a breeder that had one I could adopt . Most of them don't respond Finally I wore down one breeder . This dog is amazing
@@michaelsalemi3388 I just became a Beauceron owner last Saturday after over a year on a waiting list. She gets along great with my 10 year old Doberman. Phenomenal breed, can't wait to start doing sports together.
Its now the second Beauceron we have and I can only recommend it. Of course you need to walk them and be active but if socalized the best caracter of a dog you cam have in my mind. Protective when necessary but in general relaxed and very human attached.
I have a Beauceron bitch, just over three years old. She is just about mature now, but it took forever! She is loving and protective and funny. They always say, not for inexperienced dog owners and I can see why. She is her own dog. I really wish that they wouldn’t crop dogs' ears, it is so unnecessary and so cruel. Why is it still permitted in some countries?

Such dogs arent meant to be held in appartments but to be outsode guarding lifestock or big yards.

The dog @.11, and the dog @.27 are NOT the same breed. The one @.11 is a real Beauceron. The other is a mix

He is named duke and he is 7 he still guards our house till this day
He was nearly impossible to train but he turned out amazing.
If you breed mini australian shepherd and beauceron you end up with mini beauceron. They r pretty Awsome.
