At 8:32, the woodwinds came in earlier than they should. It was only resolved when the orchestra had an mutis. At 19:52... oh... well... the important thing is health.
Beloved Artur, magical, masculine… beautiful lyricism , never mind the missed notes and passages here and there…the orchestra? Conductor are not good, but that’s normal ,expect the worst and survive…
I am a lifelong fan of Arthur Rubinstein. Amazing simplicity and at the same time nobility in his playing. But still, it seems to me that Tchaikovsky’s concerto is not his repertoire. Too academic
Wondering what orchestra and conductor this is - strikingly poor ensemble for a concert with a great and famous artist. Rubinstein's ability to continue seemingly undeterred is evidence of a great professional at work.

First time seeing this… the beloved maestro in a beloved work…magical!!! Nothing better…
My beloved Rubinstein since I heard him playing on record when I was 7
Terrific and a great masterclass on his playing
Merci beaucoup for bringing maestro Rubinstein to life in this, my very favorite version of Tchaikovsky piano concerto 1..Bravo! 👏 👏🙏🏼🙏🏼👏 👏.

Wow! Wonderful! Thanks for posting this!
Agreed!
Thank you! Amazing! ❤❤❤
감사합니다
Conductor's epic fails 8:32 and 19:52. But the crowd certainly loves Rubinstein as well they should.
Fails? Can you explain how? Genuinely interested to know....
@@janakmachchhar3298 Horrible synchronization between Rubinstein and orchestra. Probably due to lack of sufficient practice before concert.

Thanks!!!
Both names deserve to be forgotten...
Rubinstein at his prime time, the prime goes to Chopin + Schumann

La falta de sincronización entre el piano y la orquesta en unos compases del tercer movimiento fué responsabilidad del director
19:03. 19:06. 19:07
El mejor!
