I love everything getting gradually more red as the torture scene goes on! Honestly I didn’t really even notice until the last strike, it’s such a subtle thing that adds so well to the mood!
Wonderful animatic! The lightning in the background, the fear of Poseidon before Odysseus hit him in the latter part of the video, the pain in his face, the sorrow on Odysseus' own as he's venting all his rage. , the ghosts helping bringing down Poseidon's water self enough so that Ody could strike him down. I loved how at one point he had a bit of golden/orange in the eyes while also having a lot of red at others. I love the look of uncertainty before Poseidon say "or what" I wonder if it's because he saw how cold Odysseus was, the thunder in the skies indicating Zeus' presence or both. Also at the end the video becoming more and more red is a 10 out of 10.

And the detail with the spirits that help their captain in battle is a separate art. I really liked this detail, because, after all, most of their teams were transferred to Odysseus, and it would be cool to see something like that in the original. I like your animation much more than the original, it looks very... Realistically, here! 🎉❤

I love the shade of green you used for the undead, and I love the new interpretation of using a whirlpool instead of a Jetpack pack. it might’ve been even cooler if within the whirlpool you saw all the green hands are reaching out, and instead of clawing at Odi, It was reaching out for Poseidon.
Of all the 600 Strike animations I like yours the best. No sudden jetpack suspension of disbelief break, no Odysseus suddenly becoming God power out of nowhere, utilizing the crew to attack kaiju Posiden which is what if you just listen to the song seems to be indicated. It is 600 stike... as in a command to the 600 men to strike. Not 600 strikes as in the number of strikes Odysseus makes on Posiden. Just love this ❤.

I love every artist's unique take on every animatic, so some unique standouts for me: Instead of propelling himself with the wind bag, Odysseus throws it at the ground to release the storm like a kind of grenade. Fuck yea! That's awesome. I love the stab through the hand. Quite a few animatic have just been stabbing Poseidon through the abdomen over and over which is fine but I love the stab in the hand while P is trying to crawl away. FINALLY, someone remembers Ichor. I've seen a lot of normal, mortal red blood, even on the cover art of the Saga.
This is so good! I love this interpretation of events. The way he navigated the whirlpool was so reminiscent of Charybdis, which brilliantly fits the pattern of him learning from past songs. I also liked that Poseidon tried to get away instead of just laying there. Absolutely brilliant choreography and wonderful execution. Thank you for sharing.
YOOO, I love this interpretation!! Ody riding the sides of a giant whirlpool and Poseidon already using the water as a larger form to fight with, and the way Ody and the soldiers take it down. All of it is stellar!! I also adore the way the whole screen slowly gets more and more red as Ody keeps stabbing. Amazing!

Amazing as always! I love Poseidon getting scared of/confused about the way Odysseus says "You're going to call off that storm" before keeping is pride. The scene of Odysseus stabbing Poseidon multiple times is exactly how I imagined in my head, as usual. Specially the way Odysseus says "Look what we've become!" He's not even angry, he's just tired and heartbroken. Also, idk if it was intentional, but the more Poseidon is injured, the redder his blood looks, like Odysseus is beating his godhood out of him. Not literally, of course, but symbolically. Poseidon isn't as scary as he was in Ruthlessness. Odysseus is the one in control now

Out of all the animatics for 600 Strike I've seen, this one easily takes the cake. All the others either had strange animation, or didn't show exactly what Poseidon's trident did to him. This had great imagery, and great detail with the wounds Poseidon took.
Heres a fun way to watch this. Watch this arists ruthlessness animatic and go straight to 600 strike and its like oddyseuss has a flashback that awakens his rage to fight back.
Yeah, I adore this animatic. I think you captured the emotion on Odysseous's face excellently. I love how he keeps fighting against Poseidion despite him, y'know, being a God. I also love how Poseidon got into a water avatar, from ATLA type things and I love how the glowing yellow blood standed out against he dark shades of grey and black, it really makes him feel all the more otherowlrdy. The final showdown feels incredibly personal, Poseidon now knows what Ares felt when Diomedes struck him down, it is neat seeing him defeated. Odysseous has really gone down the ruthlessness route, seeing Poseidion like swiss cheese is certainly helpful to make the whole scene more gruttural. Excellent job!

I love the shade of green you used for the undead, and I love the new interpretation of using a whirlpool instead of a Jetpack pack. it might’ve been even cooler if within the whirlpool you saw all the green hands are reaching out, and instead of clawing at Odi, It was reaching out for Poseidon.
Of all the 600 Strike animations I like yours the best. No sudden jetpack suspension of disbelief break, no Odysseus suddenly becoming God power out of nowhere, utilizing the crew to attack kaiju Posiden which is what if you just listen to the song seems to be indicated. It is 600 stike... as in a command to the 600 men to strike. Not 600 strikes as in the number of strikes Odysseus makes on Posiden. Just love this ❤.
I like the extra note of golden blood.
Edit: Also it slowly turning into red blood implying they are both the same now... Goosebumps.

1. At the start of "Ruthlessness" Poseidon's water form (idk how to describe it) is waaay more curvy (idk how to explain it help), like- he's calm, but here it's all frisky and pointy!!
2. The bag got COMPLETELY DESTROYED?! AHAH! So, it could've been porcelain, randomly destroyed, or got stuck in the log.

4. Did Poseidon grew a beard or I just forgot his design?
5. (I just realized it now) at 1:50 we can hear the strumentals for "Different Beast", like he's embracing his destiny! Everything started there, his 'monster era' started there!

I love every artist's unique take on every animatic, so some unique standouts for me:
Instead of propelling himself with the wind bag, Odysseus throws it at the ground to release the storm like a kind of grenade. Fuck yea! That's awesome.
I love the stab through the hand. Quite a few animatic have just been stabbing Poseidon through the abdomen over and over which is fine but I love the stab in the hand while P is trying to crawl away.
FINALLY, someone remembers Ichor. I've seen a lot of normal, mortal red blood, even on the cover art of the Saga.
The way the lighting changes until Poseidon's ichor just looks like blood, like Odysseus is just fighting a human.... DAMN.
This is so good! I love this interpretation of events. The way he navigated the whirlpool was so reminiscent of Charybdis, which brilliantly fits the pattern of him learning from past songs. I also liked that Poseidon tried to get away instead of just laying there.

YOOO, I love this interpretation!! Ody riding the sides of a giant whirlpool and Poseidon already using the water as a larger form to fight with, and the way Ody and the soldiers take it down. All of it is stellar!! I also adore the way the whole screen slowly gets more and more red as Ody keeps stabbing. Amazing!
Man, I wish Ody would have kept the trident and used it on the suitors.

I really like the use of the whirlpool! My immediate thought was he had to ride out Charybdis’ whirlpool so now he’s putting that experience to use by taking advantage of the speed and power it creates.
Amazing as always! I love Poseidon getting scared of/confused about the way Odysseus says "You're going to call off that storm" before keeping is pride.
The scene of Odysseus stabbing Poseidon multiple times is exactly how I imagined in my head, as usual. Specially the way Odysseus says "Look what we've become!" He's not even angry, he's just tired and heartbroken.
Also, idk if it was intentional, but the more Poseidon is injured, the redder his blood looks, like Odysseus is beating his godhood out of him. Not literally, of course, but symbolically. Poseidon isn't as scary as he was in Ruthlessness. Odysseus is the one in control now
the way you used the detail of Poseidon taking a breath in the song , making it that he was stabbed in the throath, its gotta be one of my favorite things ever I think
I love how you show the other soldiers coming back to fight Poseidon. Something Jay said comes back to me, how only the Gods can call a chorus when there isn't one there. Looks like Ody borrowed some Godly might

Out of all the animatics for 600 Strike I've seen, this one easily takes the cake. All the others either had strange animation, or didn't show exactly what Poseidon's trident did to him. This had great imagery, and great detail with the wounds Poseidon took.

Yeah, I adore this animatic. I think you captured the emotion on Odysseous's face excellently. I love how he keeps fighting against Poseidion despite him, y'know, being a God. I also love how Poseidon got into a water avatar, from ATLA type things and I love how the glowing yellow blood standed out against he dark shades of grey and black, it really makes him feel all the more otherowlrdy. The final showdown feels incredibly personal, Poseidon now knows what Ares felt when Diomedes struck him down, it is neat seeing him defeated. Odysseous has really gone down the ruthlessness route, seeing Poseidion like swiss cheese is certainly helpful to make the whole scene more gruttural. Excellent job!

i really like it that you made the fight scene like the charabis also when you hit it normally it was blue like water but when he hit him right it was red showing he was vulnerable and when you see him its gold showing the blood of gods [or ichor but still]
