- We're back in Chicago from our year in California, and we decided to take a tour of some of Oliver's favorite places to see if he remembers them! Watch and see how he reacts as we revisit our local pet store, the dog park and the ice cream parlor!
The joy and love in your voice and in Oliver's face when you were trying to park and he was eating his ice cream is just so precious. We felt the same joy and love. Thank you for sharing.

I love the way Oliver rapidly figured out that the only way to get his fair share (as defined by Oliver, of course) of the ice cream cone its to snarf large bites before you can take it away. My first Wire actually grabbed an entire scoop of hard ice cream off the cone once--yes, the whole thing. He got all the ice cream and I got left with the empty cone. You'd better be careful or Oliver will figure out how to do that himself. 😂🤣😂
It's such a treat to see Oliver doing anything, or going anywhere.
The most outstanding thing about this video is that the ice cream machine at McDonald's worked. They are notorious for not working.
Yes, I was worried that after all that wind-up we would show up at McDonald's and they wouldn't have any ice cream! I probably would have kept going to all the McDonald's in Chicago until we found one with ice cream.

Yes, Oliver did seem to remember a lot - the Pet Store, old ice cream shop, and McDonalds. He had fun familiarising himself with the dog park again, but he LOVED the ice cream. It did look yummy!

Glad you’re so happy to be home, Oliver! Isn’t it amazing how they remember their favorite places? Chloe doesn’t like going to the vet, but she always remembers the “magic window” (McDonald’s) right next door and she gets super excited about that! Chloe says hey 🐾and sends beagle tail wags and lots of ♥️

So so precious little Oliver. I have been curious about how well Oliver would remember the dog park. Honestly I too would be more excited about treats and ice cream. Ice cream cone crunching is extremely cute. I just love to watch Oliver walk around and sniff stuff. He's just so adorable. Thank you so much for making these videos and sharing Oliver. I love Oliver so much..watching the adorable videos you post, my husband ordered for me a beagle statue that looks like him and he sits near the dining room dish cabinet. Of course his name is Oliver! Honestly the videos are too cute. He's precious. I have a beagle, named Maddie, she's 13yrs old. They are sweet dogs.
