- We're back in Chicago after our roadtrip and Oliver, as usual, is finding it hard to get out of bed! Let's see if the prospect of some toast helps to entice him away from the warm bedcovers...
Pure devotion as Oliver first checks in on Wayne, before he goes down stairs for toast from Scott. A loving family.
Yes, I love that moment at 5:32 where he hesitates at the top of the stairs and then goes to check on Wayne. I thought he was going to go straight downstairs to get the toast, but he decided family was more important!

We are celebrating my 6 y/o nieces birthday and she is obsessed with my beagle. I got her Oliver’s book and I just finished reading it, then saw this video was up. I showed it to her and she loved it. She thought Oliver was super cute and loves him.

Beagles have an amazing sense of smell, which is why they are used at International airports to sniff out food that people are trying to sneak into the country.

Typical Oliver always wanting to sleep in! He is just like me! He looked so adorable lying there on the bed. Only the lures of peanut butter and jelly toast can get him out of bed. Oliver knows that food is the only thing worth getting up for! Love you sweet Oliver!💖💖

Oliver’s got a better wake-up than me. My parents just used to throw back the blankets and tell me to get up. Granted, I had school and it was the only way to wake me up, but I was always in a grumpy mood afterwards. Would’ve been nice to be woken up like Oliver!

27 yrs with beagles here, that nose at 01:10 is so very much the pragmatic "What's in it for me" ... here in this house once I was cooking bacon for breakfast I had Smuds 100% attention .... happy memories, sounds and looks so much like my two Rossmaith beagles circa 1992 - 2019.

i love oliver . he reminds me of my two beagle babies. i had to have them put down within 4 months of each other because they were old and in declining health. my oldest had to be petted awake in the morning and petted to sleep at night ! lol beagles are the greatest pets.
