We rescued him out of a parking lot in the hot summer Texas heat.We had him for 13 years. He passed March 26 ,2019. I'm still not over it. My husband and I cried for months. He was our puppy. I told him he would always be mama's puppy. They were playing one minute. The next minute he was leaving us. 😭💔 I will never get over it. I lost my beagle, Copper, in Oct 1998. I've never gotten over him either. I can't have a home without a dog or three. So I got 2 poodles and hubby rescued a red Husky from a lady who was going to take her to the pound. She was an.older puppy. But I still cry for Wulfy sometimes. Thank you for your complements. He had ice blue eyes. He was a goofball. He talked a lot and even learn to say run around when he wanted to go out. A few other things too but run around was clear. He took lots of trips with us on the road and was the star everywhere we went. Very well behaved. He was a good boy. I'm 57 and have had many dogs. But Copper and Wulfy were 2 of the best. You're right! I had never made a video in my life before we brought Oliver home... but we had watched lots of beagle videos (especially Louie the Beagle) while we were waiting to get one of our own, and we just wanted to share more beagle content with the world!

Far out! Maggie's favorite toy was a bright pink rabbit that I picked up at a garage sale. She had it for the last 8 years of her life. She was crazy about it. Our Beagle was a small Beagle and she lived to 14. To the end she still had that puppy face -- just with gray hair around the eyes and muzzle. Cancer took her at 14, but it was fast, so she did not suffer. That is the only consolation. This breed is so sweet you do not want to see them suffer. We were with her to the end -- extremely hard -- but necessary. You can not abandon them at the end. After all the years of love they give to you, you have to be there for them to the last moment. She will always be in our heart and mind. I like to think she was greeted by her older sister (a Schnauzer mix) that died prior, from an enlarged heart, at the age of 13. It is just comforting to think that maybe they are together now, waiting for us to follow. It may be a silly thought, but it helps us to heal by thinking this way. Thankyou for sharing Oliver with us.
