I used to work at Polaris's R&D facility, and i remember when Scrambler XP1000S prototype was in development bay. It was live at first sight. Of all the vehicles I rode within Polaris's portfolio it is still #1 to me.
I have the 2018 scrambler 850 H.O. In velocity blue , it’s a freaking beast ! I can’t imagine more power on a 1000 quad . Insane but I like it . Great channel man !

I have the Scrambler 850 and its a freakin beast, saw the scrambler1000s couple weeks ago when i picked up my machine and its super impressive in person. Cant imagine that power combined with stability that this atv has.
Now we need a video of you going up against the renegade 1000 and compare the two. Maybe a in depth video on which one is better
The scramble faster I’ve seen that and a renegade 1000 the scrambler left it in it’s dust

The scrambler is winning 1000 percent
The scrambler is about 10 horsepower less vs the renegade and also almost 100lbs heavier. No chance against a renegade 1000xxc. 😮 a video with both will still be cool to see.

Great video, awesome to see a sports quad guy riding this bike, just what i wanted see. I've been on the fence about making the purchase for this big guy. Can wait to see some more upcoming videos.
No one is talking about the suspension and wheel base! The power is great but it’s that extra width and suspension that make this thing special and so darn stable. I sold my other quads once I rode one of these.now I have two. You can keep up with SxS machines on this. I didn’t feel that way about my Polaris 850. Plus I feel safer putting newbies on this wide Scrambler than I ever did with my 850. It’s just so stable.

Just went and sat on one at the local dealer here near me in Pennsylvania. Totally Awesome machine. Was excited to get home and look this video up since I knew you were doing one on it I remembered! I'm gonna have to watch this again I liked it so much. Maybe I should go buy one

The physical hard buttons that say standard and Performance, are actually the throttle response modes. My sportsman 1000 has 3 different modes, the third one being “work” due to it being a utility quad. The power steering modes are in the infotainment system itself, having low, medium and high. Hope this helps!

So my friend showed me clip of the Scrambler a little over a year ago and loved it too. It does have a hefty price tag that comes with it but still would love to have one.

I wish I could make it down to try it out, maybe I can make it over to the badlands in Indiana. It’s definitely suited for wide open areas vs the tighter trails 😅👌

Nothing can ever compare to the scrambler. I've owned two 850's. One that I customize and upgraded myself, and one other stock with fox shocks and power steering. I absolutely loved both of them and wish I never sold them! I miss them greatly! They're super fun in a winter too. I can't imagine how that 1000 s feels though, huge upgrade over the 850's for sure. I had an 850 earlier this summer and ended up selling it! uhhg! Never again! I'm going to get another one next spring and I'm going to keep it. I might even try to find my original 2016 one that I customized. I saw it up for sale last summer after I bought one already. I posted my current one on marketplace, thought I had it sold and made a deal on my old one in the same day. I almost sold one to get my old one back in the same trip, but it didn't work out. The kid low balled me. He didn't understand the value. I was firm at 6300 cash on a 15" 850 with 1500 miles, just enough to get my old one back, and that's a great deal in Maine.

One of the primary reasons my wife and I bought a Can-Am vs a Polaris is because the Visco lock on a Can-Am is far more favorable for plowing snow. I fishtailed with the Sportsman driving down icy roads and have zero traction issues with the Visco lock on a Can-Am, especially with a plow mounted. I recommend a Can-Am for anything more extreme. I am from Alaska (many states applicable) and when relying on and needing a better 4X4 a Can-Am was a no-brainer having the Visco-lock and 1000cc motor. The Suzuki King Quad would have been our purchase for the true 4X4 if they offered a 1000cc motor, but they currently don’t. The Scrambler does look like a very fun recreational wheeler though and I too love it’s wider stance. 😊

I’m always paranoid about things engaging at the wrong time so i tend to stop 😅 I rode it again last weekend on a trail with endless jumps and the suspension is seriously next level 😬
Damn dude that is awesome my dream is to have this quad aswell as a renegade 1000xxc, raptor 700r, yfz 450 and 2 side by sides preferably polaris. Plus all of them full of preformance parts. I know it's crazy but that's why it's a dream.

Those big quads are plush but I just can’t imagine rolling one. I’ve unintentionally wrestled with a few 3/400lb machines in my day but can’t imagine winning a fight against an 800lb opponent.
I know.. that’s what makes it intimidating. It would not be fun to lose control of it, gotta respect it! 😳😅
That switch by the display is actually for the drive by wire modes it changes the throttle response. It does have 3 modes of power steering you can adjust in the gauge
when he rode off on it in standard mode i was like nooooooo!
@@leedimatteo5078 it is noticeable however you have the same power in both modes just different response it’s most noticeable coming out of corners
was just checking out one of these the other day they look super nice in person! i already have an automatic atv though and i get so bored sometimes not being able to bang through gears

I just saw one of these in person at a dealer not too far from me. They are wild looking and some features resemble stuff thats on snowmobiles. Those bars scare me they seem so week if you ever rolled her i feel those would collapse pretty fast and are so tall and the crazy width is nuts. Nothing better though than ripping a 4x4 in the snow man i wish you were closer id take a trip with the renegade. Great vid 🤘

Crazy. I sold my blue and yellow scrambler x 400, think it was a 2003. Solid it to buy my 450r and I have missed it everyday. It’s the ultimate trail machine and I already know it’s track capable.
That thing is super cool Pete. If I buy a sport utility quad one day, that will be the one for sure. KUDOS to Polaris for the time and effort that they put on its development. Hope to see you rippin it more in a near future. 😉

Yeah this isn’t ideal in tight trails for sure lol I think it would be wild to ride in the dunes or desert! Hopefully I can get it up to some of our northwoods trails since everything is SxS width up there!
It's just like you said tho with a shift in production of handle bar machines this is the new "sport quad" but I'm not a fan as I imagine many won't be
I have the new 23 sportsman 1000$ and it is a next level game changer compared to any quad produced. Only thing better would probably be the scrambler$ but they are the best quads on a planet.!

you do know there is a major recall on all 2022-2023 sportsman 1000 and 850 for fuel tank issues, they are spontaneously catching fire

Polaris gave up on GNCC. The Scrambler/Sportsman can't handle the abuse needed for racing. Team UXC couldn't keep a quad together.

You were talking about how nice jumping it is and I have a yfz and a scrambler 850 and that 850 lands like a rock it sucks for jumps. But I have just normal Polaris suspension and not the walker evens. But I just thought that was interesting on your opinion on landing
The Walker Evans shocks have been amazing. I took it in a longer trail ride today with tons of single hits on the trail and it didn’t bottom out once when I was on it 😬
