They make the throttle slow until medium range incase people are trail riding. Super Dangerous to have a touchy throttle when driving over uneven terrain like rocks. Now when doing a speed test on flat ground yeah it’s very annoying but I actually agree with how they made the throttle.
Hell ya love reviews videos
Great video man!
You can get these for under 15 if you shop around. They were selling 2023 models for as low as 13,9 before the 24s came out. Definitely worth every dollar if this is a year round hobby for you
True 100%. I was able to get a second one for 14,5 out the door. Was new old stock, and they couldn't move it. So, I snagged it up. Like you said, it is a year-round hobby. Hopefully, get the channel to a point where it's a full-time gig.
Great review. Good to meet you at badlands today. Hope you get that sway bar fixed soon.
Same good sir. Luckily, sway bar was covered under warranty.
Nice video keep up the good work fella
Thank you good sir.
That’s a beautiful machine
My 2020 highly modified hill climbing Scrambler XP1000 S is Insane 64" wheelbase 58" wide all 4 XTR 27x11x12, 3/16 " steel skid plate welded to frame ,battery relocated to lower frame, Grizzly steering bushing with grease fitting because OEM is crap,
12 mm Bossbearing HD tie rod kit, Grizzly tie rod ends for custom drag link OEM is totally Junk ,ball bearings in drag link idler arm to reduce steering bushing drag with grease fitting ,no swaybar and lower handle bar and oil pressure gauge is a must have when going over 40% down hill it will loose oil pressure I running 3 qt of oil to keep oil pressure. And I have removed the rear rack.
You are correct on the rear rack, it qould be nice to have one with a little storage, And i think its kinda of dual purpose quad i really want one 😢
100% agree. I get the saving weight but a little something. I've found ways around with Polaris's storage option. Don't let lack of storage stop you from ever getting one. things are awesome.
Ogio make a nice bag that locks right in
I’ve got a pair of these. They are tops! I subscribed to your channel because I want to hear about the performance mods you do. Mine are still stock.
I have some things in mind stay tuned.
I have a 2021 scambler and sportsman. The sportsman will hold more weight. That was my solution
I like your thinking.
Just bought my 2023 Scrambler xp 1000 S. I noticed that my rear sway bar moves side to side through the bushings is this normal. Done it since I bought it.
First off it's 89HP at the crank. Probably 70 at the wheels. It also weighs almost 900lbs dry. That's .1HP per 10lbs. Not much at all. A CVT transmission certainly doesn't help. That being said I can wheelie my friends machine on command in high or low easily. I absolutely love this machine. Also, spraying your clutches with water is horrible. You should use air and rubbing alcohol with a green scrub pad.
Someone put one on a Dyno while they where doing an exhaust upgrade and i think the dyno reported about 55 HP at wheels, you lose about 35% through that CVT and the rest of the powertrain.
If that bike didn't have a belt , my decision would be easy
Why you say that?
why polaris went with Halogen bulbs when they have an LED headlamp from the 1000xp scramblers is beyond me.
💯. totally agree. especially for the price tag.
Did you remove the fender extenders? Didn’t they work?
In this video was still stock. Nothing was removed. Since this video, I have installed extensions because the stock ones were a waste of space, lol.
These things seem very wide. Not so good for tight woods
they are wide, but trust me when I say this, they are very nimble and handle themselves on every type of terrain.
got 16.000 kms on my 2020 scrambler 1000s , thing is a dream to ride on long hard rides, it flies over any bump and eats everything you dare throw at it, wouldn't trade it in for anything on the market right now, except maybe the same model in a brand new package and livery
I 💯% agree. Keep an eye out for some upcoming videos. Took it up a bunch of black diamonds at Windrock. Crossbar Ranch Oklahoma followed it up by some dune riding at Little Sahara. Big Blue is a beast.
@@leterripadventures a good tip to upgrading this rig(besides the ones pointed out in the video) would be to add a separate brake lever on the right side , this will make it possible to control the machine if you have to bail a steep hill climb and make it a lot easier to descend backwards
