I think the media has a lot to do with the drama. In fact i think the media wants the w to get more popular and are using anything that looks controversial. Honestly DT's comments before CC came to the league were pretty tame. They were almost a warning to the fans who expected instant gel of the team, to hang on itll get better. I mean she is now setting up her commentary role with SB so it is in her best interest for the w to explode. I feel a bit like the media played everyone and took advantage of the march madness.

Plus, the crowd was cheering 'FEVER, FEVER' 😭😭😭. Another thing was DT's not-so-great response about Caitlin's impact on basketball. She said that when she thinks of Caitlin, she thinks of what she's done for the Fever. That's not true-when we think of Caitlin, we think of what she's done for basketball as a whole and, of course, Clarconomics.

These two ladies flat out lied about attendance saying every home game for them has been a sellout. Prior to today, the Phoenix Mercury have averaged 9,808 at home.... today's attendance with CC and the Fever was 17,071. Geezus the butthurt amongst the league's veterans over CC's popularity and the fans and attention it's bringing to the wnba is getting outright embarrassing. And then taking the L, how embarrassing.

I saw the fever play vs our team and 1) they opened the upper section which is never open (tix 128) last row of arena - every other have - upper section not open for seating at all and last row second section ($27) and the crowd pro fever - honestly I think it is CC style of play that is so impressive - something about hitting threes from logo and her passing is amazing to watch - once they have more time to gel and connect on those passes - going to be amazing - love Boston too - she is great player that is going to really shine with help (Mitchell too)

Reality hit in the first 12 games, DT wasn't wrong. All the rookies felt it, like she said and they themselves have expressed it countless times. DT also had a great game, a close win is not a Blowout. Taurasi lied first thing she said, she said that they have been selling out all of their home games this year. Today it was nearly 18,000 in attendance their second best home game was a little over 10 the lowest was 7 . Indianas lowest home game is 16,000. What bitter jealousy! She said she loved the game. I saw her face she was mad the whole 2nd half, she is terribly embarrast and should be ashamed she doesn’t deserve to be on the Olympic team instead of Caitlin it’s obvious.

This is very simple....When Caitlin Clark was 4-6 years old she was out all day and all night practicing different shots, dribbling with both hands, and playing in games against older boys. This is what 99% of the men in the NBA did coming up. The rest of the women in the WNBA did not take basketball seriously until they were either in high school and most in college. Before that they were playing soccer, softball, and maybe track. She is not an elite athlete but neither is Steph Curry. Through practice as a child and getting fitter than anyone else he turned himself into an all-time great. So did Caitlin.

Full respect would have been admitting that CC has helped bring in much needed revenue for the W, not just helping the Fever recover. I know it was reported they had been working on private charters for a couple of years, but when CC hit the W so did the chartered planes, upped merchant sells and packed stadiums. Not to mention people at home buying subscriptions to watch the W. I have to subscribe to 5 different networks to try to watch every team, and that still doesn't cover every game!

DT's team lost but when interviewed, she showed her level of maturity. Her sportsmanship was inspiring. These women in the WNBA have been behaving badly towards CC and it's UGLY. No, I am not missing out, and no, I am not supporting the whole W. I am only watching every FEVER game because of CC, and she is a generational phnom. I couldn't care less about the WNBA until now, and my hometown team, the MN Lynx, was winning championships, and I never watched it once. These away games for the FEVER and the highest watched games are the FEVEr, which is one reason only. They should give credit to Indiana Fever too, they did not lose heart being down 15 pts. Came back in the 3rd and blitzed them with 20 point run all lead by Clark. Not only did they eliminated the lead they took over. All 20 points Clark either assisted or hit the 3. I guess you can say Fever had the younger legs when the game became quicker. No doubt she gained the vets respect now that they’ve played against her in an actual game. And please acknowledge that the crowd is due to CC.
