And yet, as long as james jones is making decisions we will have a mis- matched roster of finesse mid range shooters playing out of position and getting manhandled throughout the season and the playoffs. I'm not confident in him as gm . After the way we went out in the first round i can't see most free agents viewing this team as a prime destination to come to, where they can win, make a playoff run and actually see a bright future here. Also the fact that any team we trade with will be aware of the fact that we have very limited bargaining power in who we get back in any trades courtesy of the second apron. We can try, and we should see what little options we have in free agency but would be much easier and more cost efficient to fill correct our team weaknesses through the draft. Yves missi, ulrich comche, adem bona,daRon holmes, bub carrington,tyler kolek, tristan desilva. We could find some excellent role players to add bench depth in this draft. More than likely we keep trading pics and either get much older or fail to add what we really need in free agency. And sign some undrafted guys or unknowns just to fill the required roster spots...I do think budenholzer can change the culture and system here to get us back to respectability, but not while james jones is still calling the shots.

For the last question about Frank Vogel, James tip toed around that one lol. Simply put Frank was offensively inept, which is no good when you have 3 players who's strength is in their offense. Mike is a more balanced coach, which is better for this roster. The defense honestly was fine (the Suns ended the season at 13th, 10th in their last 10 games), but on the offensive end, the Suns were not firing on all cylinders, because Frank is abysmal at offense. You HAVE to be good at BOTH, (not only as a player, but also as a coach) to consistently win.

He's not the right coach for this team, he's lost the locker room, players literally holding back from laughing at him by their own admission. Fire him and I got an idea for a new coach that'll bring energy and that would be the great Dawn Staley. This guy is an absolute joke, said it when he was hired that it was a bad hire.
