None of them made a compelling argument about how it’s Caitlin’s fault? She is a class act through and through. Always respectful and says the right thing. It’s almost like she needs to apologize for being white, straight and a great basketball player. If expecting that from her is not racist, I don’t know what is?

And is it racism that Caitlin Clark is popular? No. Caitlin Clark is that good. Larry Bird was popular too. Pistol Pete was popular too. She's not the first popular white basketball player but I guess she's the first popular basketball player in the WNBA, and in the WNBA her type is the minority.
If anything it looks bad if a majority black league is bullying the white super star. It looks immature as hell. If Caitlin Clark is in the minority in the league, and I see people bullying her, that's no better than the racism we see in society where we see a majority bullying a minority.

      She should stand her ground.
No one should be allowed to racially discriminate against her and bully her out of the league. She took advantage of the opportunity to be in the league, she could have taken Ice Cube’s offer but she chose the WNBA.
These fake virtue signalers are the problem and if anything they should be the ones weeded out. The consumers will still win in this fabricated feud, because without the consumers there is no league.
And the consumers clearly want Caitlin Clark as the face of the league.

It’s so bad we judge our own people by complexion and are the only “group” of HUMANS that have requirements in order for someone to be considered black. WE HAVE TO CHANGE, at a point in time racism was our greatest advisory but now we are our own worst enemies. Yes we know this league is also full of activists for various issues, what will happen if they decide not to stand for the flag or attempt some other activism, and Caitlin doesn't participate. The hatred by certain parts of this society esp the women in the WNBA will grow. She just wants to play ball and is not interested in any causes. She is facing more scrutiny than any other athlete in the country. MJ never faced this much, I remember he famously said "republicans buy sneakers too". it's not the game or the animosity of the players who will ultimate crush her spirits, it's all the BS from outside the game that like a cancer may impact her. It happened to Pete Maravich and he self-medicated that rookie year and called his rookie year pure hell. I hope she has a strong support system and people need to be advocating and defending her. I honestly think this being blown out of proportion. I started following so many women’s basketball pages because of Clark and all the comments are usually attacking her because of a racial bias. MSM is saying she’s getting attention because she’s white and straight, I think she’s getting hate because of it. All her defenders have mostly been men, white , black, Asian , Hispanic because they are basketball fans and like how CC hoops. The media narrative has been trying to gaslight everyone because negativity sells to them. But CC, the Fever and their positivity has been winning irl.

Clickbait! Stephen A didnt call her that, and its sad that youre portraying media, to report non bias information, but you are a CC fan. Couldnt even take the time to correct Dijonai name before copying and pasted the real headlines. Dijonai is right! Everybody knows the demogrphic of the new fans. Comments, thumbnails clearly shows this. Even making the worst claims against other players accomplishment is insane. CC is a good basketball player. She is , incredible shooter! Yet what the video is truly addressing is this, if you like women's sports, or like good athletes, and you consider CC in that category, then where have you been for Aja Wilson? Yall mad Team Usa didn't add CC, but they have won 9 gold medals. Where were you fans? Remember, CC is popular because shes an outstanding player. So, why don't Yall equally, sorta, kinda, a little bit , care about a woman averaging 26.9 and 11,1 a game? If this country really wants to meeting in the middle and move forward for all, then CC fans need to look in the mirror before criticizing other players and their fan bases and be honest with thyself!!! The logic is not adding up. I love Lebron, but discredit Khawi, how he's a superstar too. As a matter of fact, there is not one player I really hate in sports, unless they are dirty!

Pro Tip: stay away from people who inject drama into everything and make themselves out to be a victim. Do hang around people who don’t make excuses, who try to extend grace to others, and who get back up when they are knocked down especially while not complaining

Great comment and so true! The problem is this society has been pushing victimhood, excuses, complaining & not showing grace to others for such a long time now, that it's become ingrained in so many. It's got to be taken out of them. People have got to realize what you've said and apply it. It has to become the message to replace the negative one they've been hearing and believing.

People always want to tear down the top players it's pathetic, why can't people just congratulate/thank/let the player who earned that top spot shine? So much jealousy it's sad. Other WNBA players should be asking for her autograph and giving her roses for the extra pay, tickets bought, fans, media attention that they wouldn't have if not for her, she's shining a light on the WNBA that has me watching games for the first time in years. She has more class in her pinky toe than the entire league, always humble, takes the assaults she receives by turning them into fuel to play even better, ensuring the people envious of her have nothing to say because her game proves them wrong. I am praying she never gets injured by the cheap shots she gets from these jelly bullies of hers and stays confident knowing she wouldn't have such hate unless she was something special. Michael Jordan also got SUCH criticism during his time with the bulls, remember?

Here we go with racism again!! Catlin Clark is WHITE , 65% of the population is WHITE of course when a White Star is born , the new fan base is going to have a natural white fan base increase. This is not racism!! It’s no different than Disney making a mermaid movie using a black mermaid, the movie watching is naturally going to see a big increase in a black audience. This is not racism!! It’s just what the fans do. They like to follow athletes or celebrities that look like themselves. The media is the only one that is making this about race.
