    Great video!! I just bought one for 100 bucks, it's a Arctic cat 400 4x4 automatic, I've been fighting with that thing for 3 days now, I'm getting fuel, spark, and compression, but no start still....smh it's gonna end up killing me 😂

      Your flywheel is shot. 100% of these fail on this year/model. Pull your stator cover, and you'll see what I am talking about. I believe I have a video on this as well. Also I will include a link to a tool you will need for the job. Thanks for watching. amzn.to/3vFbdws

      Ok my issue is that air is blowing out of the carb, we caught it on fire last night lol we checked timing, I'm pretty sure it's in time, thing is when we put the time mark on the crank to the mark on the block, and the timing marks on the cam are the same but the crank side doesn't stay it jumps forward like a bind in it and it loosens like compression, but there no plug in it...

    Thanks again, your videos are great. You got a video about adjusting timing on same engine? I can't seem to find...but will keep looking.

      You might just search timing. I might not have it for this exact model, but might for the Suzuki 400. Thanks for the comment! Let us know if there is anything we can help with. Hi, I have a 2005 Artic cat 400 4x4. Did a compression test and it read 127, the manual says it should read between 63 and 77 psi. 1)is the 2004 and 2005 the same engine, 2)what would cause the high reading, and 3) would it be an adjustment like you did in this video?
    Thank you for your videos, very well done!

    • @drd1924
      @drd1924 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      your auto compression release is the reason the manual says 63-77 psi
      no engine would actually run with that low of compression but the compression release works at low RPM / starter speed.
      Your auto compression release may not be working could be the reason for your higher compression reading of 127 which is actually more what a real world reading would be without a comp release.

    Awesome video man! I like your explanation on finding where the looses tolerances are. You said it in a way that convinced my Pop's that I knew what I was talking about. Quick question, With most gap clearances that give you a window, I usually go for the median. Just wondering if that is the case for you as well? You earned yourself a subscriber.

    So the measurements should always
    Be .075 on the intake and .25 on the exhaust when the flywheel line meets up with the arrow?

    • @MidNebraskaMotorsports
      @MidNebraskaMotorsports  ปีที่แล้ว

      ON TDCC. You'll want to make sure your are on the right stroke. Those lines will match up on the wrong stroke as well and you could be adjusting on the wrong one. You want your valves completely closed. Let me know what you find! Check out www.ebay.com/str/midnebraskamotorsports for any parts you might need. I have an issue with my pull start on a 2009 TRV 400 4X4. It feels like the compression is to high. Like it needs a compression release. Do you have any videos on that? Thanks
