    This is exactly what I needed, thank you. This is the first tutorial I've seen on fixing cracks that makes sense and does the job :)

    I had never attempted to fix cracks, because I didn't know how. Now I know how to and I will try it out. This tip is so smart!

    Is it okay to fill the cracks with the adhesive before you bake if you notice cracking already?

    What if you mixed the color and don't have any of it left?

    Hi Mam, thanks for your video. You explained everything very nicely!! Recently i have changed my oven. But its not conviction oven. Its an OTG. I am using bake mode. Preheating it for 15-20 min till it reached 275F with ceramic tile as base in my tray. After that i place my little charms in it made of premo for 15 min and later 10 min 15min. So total 30min. But since i have started using this new oven i am seeing hair line cracks in them. I am just feeling helpless. Please help me.. what the issue could be? ☹️ Also i had conditioned the clay very well.

      I'm not an expert on ovens, but the issue might be that the charms should be baked for a solid thirty minutes to allow the polymers to set properly. If you are baking them in smaller increments of time, the temperature fluctuations from hot to room temperature and back again may be the cause of the cracks.

    What if you don’t have the liquid scuply

    • @8bluebirdsstudio664
      @8bluebirdsstudio664  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe any liquid polymer clay will work (fimo for example), however if that isn’t an option you might be able to soften clay with clay softener/conditioning oil and apply it in the same way. You could also use some kind of clay-safe glue or paste in the crack to smooth it and paint over it, but I haven’t personally tried this

    Aw lovely. You can't even tell there were cracks.

    Nice!! Will this method work with poly paste too?

    So mix glue and the colors,or clay color and glue?

    • @8bluebirdsstudio664
      @8bluebirdsstudio664  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's another possibility I haven't tried yet! Here, I am using liquid clay. If you were to use glue, I think you would need to use a paint or pastel powders to color it rather than clay.

      Hi, so I didn’t have liquid clay and I tried using water, clay and clear glue. It worked! But the Color was a little bit off, so be aware of that!! :D

    ı just make the 4 or 3 layers of varnish,is this okay?

    • @8bluebirdsstudio664
      @8bluebirdsstudio664  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That seems like it would probably be fine. I don't have a lot of experience with varnish.
