I have three. One's innards are different from the other two and I got it up and running. The other two have compression components similar to the video, but do not require the conical seal. One I have compression now but it's weak. The other I've replaced the seals, had the "O" ring groove cut with a new "O" ring, as with the prior two, yet there is no holding of air in the compression chamber. The compression chamber also differs from the other two due to being bullet shaped at the end. Tried cocking first with no joy. No apparent cracks in the tube or anything obvious. Suggestions?
Genuinely so grateful for this. A developed a passion for these 10 years ago and have been collecting them since, with the intent of fixing them. Now I can. I am getting a lathe and plan on making my own parts when needed, and plan to grab as many as I can and just fix them for the pure admiration I have for these. thanks again. I think I used to live around where you are from if I am correct. I lived in Scappoose, Oregon for a time and actually called your shop once. Anyway, thanks again.
I have followed your video in trying to resurrect a model 101 air gun. It was not holding any air. I obtained the seal kit and replaced what was in the gun after cleaning and polishing per your video. All the seals seem to be working except when i get it re-assembled, it is not holding the air. As you pump it you can hear/feel the air coming back thru the breech/barrel. I have taken it apart and re-assembled 3 times and still it will not hold air. Do you have any suggestions on what the problem/fix might be? Thanks.
@@NorthWestAirgun I bought the 102 bolt with an orig box about 15 years back, dated OCT. 28th 1924. I only needed the leather seal which I made, Thanks for the video on parts if I ever need any.

You're supposed to cock it before you pump, are you doing that?
